Ultimate Italy Adventure 0 Ultimate Italy , AB, Canada, Apr 2026
This was our first time travelling with a tour group and it was amazing!!! The pace of this tour is perfect and the small group size allows for lots of hanging out together and enjoying each others company. If you want to see Italy at a relaxed pace where some things are planned and you have free time to do what you want then this tour is for you.
Northern Italy 0 Best of Northern Italy: Florence to Venice , NY, United States, Apr 2026
Had a great trip. Thank you !!! A reasonably size group of great people lead by a knowledgeable, attentive CEO. Couldn't have had a better time
Great trip. Amazing sights and wildlife 0 Sydney Roundtrip: Australia's Greatest Hits , TX, United States, Feb 2026
This was an amazing trip. We saw great landscapes and wildlife. Since it was a combination trip, we had 2 different CEOs but the were both amazing. A note to those doing the Red Centre, the accommodations are tented sites with no electricity in the tents and quite a walk to the restrooms/ showers. Had I fully understood this, I probably would have taken an alternative trip.
Sacred Inca Valley Tour 0 Solo-ish Peru , BC, Canada, Feb 2026
Fantastic tour! Be prepared for some pretty intense climbing/hiking at altitude. Machu Picchu was surreal. I learned so much more about the history of the Inca and the other cultures that were present throughout out the area. Fascinating and well worth the effort!
Morocco in Depth   0 Journeys: Morocco in Depth , AB, Canada, Feb 2026
We would definitely book with Global Journeys again. The response time was amazing and issues were dealt with competently. Early February was a good time to be in Morocco. We could definitely feel the increase in the number of tourists between our two stays in Marrakech - a span of eight days. We enjoyed the cooking and calligraphy classes. We loved read more hearing about the history of Morocco, its culture, and about Islam and Ramadan. People need to be prepared for some long travel days over sometime scary roads in vans that could be more comfortable. Our fellow travellers were a good mix, and there were no issues, even agreeing to allow my tall husband to occupy the middle seat in the back row, the whole trip! Our guide was excellent and our driver very skilled and safe over varying road conditions.
They took care of EVERYTHING!   0 Morocco Kasbahs & Desert , MN, United States, Feb 2026
Global Journeys and Isabella were fantastic! Everything was taken care of from arrival and departure snd everything in between. Isabella had things ready for me well in advance as I was traveling prior. She contacted me with all necessary information prior to, and during, my travel. I will most definitely book with Global Journeys again. High quality read more planning, booking, tours, ans guides.
America's Historic East Tour By Bus 0 America's Historic East , United Kingdom, May 2026
The trip was organised excellently, starting in Washington DC, visiting Mount Vernon, then Williamsburg, Richmond , Shenandoah National Park in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the battlefield at Gettysburg, Valley Forge National Park and ending in Philadelphia. The tour guide, Patrick Neilson, was excellent. He was inclusive with all passengers, thoughtful read more and caring, a mine of information and both pleasant and amusing at all times. The bus was in perfect condition and Michael, the driver, was highly skilled in his job, coupled with a pleasing, polite and friendly manner. The accommodation at each stop was first class, with very good service. We have learnt a lot of American history on this trip, particularly the Revolution and colonial times, but also about the historic Civil War battlefield at Gettysburg. The trip was excellent and is highly recommended by us.
Unforgettable travel through South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Botswana   0 Splendors of South Africa & Victoria Falls with Chobe River Cruise , NT, Australia, Mar 2026
Key highlights:
- Cape Town city and surrounding areas - There is so much to do in this fun and vibrant city and nearby towns. Food was exceptionally good, and noticeably cheaper than comparable culinary experiences in Australia, especially around the V&A Waterfront. The full day Cape Winelands private day wine tour (optional excursion available through read more Globus) to select wineries in Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl was excellent (non-alcoholic beverages also available).
- Hotels in Cape Town and Johannesburg presented as luxurious especially the à la carte and breakfast buffet experience at Sandton Sun & Towers.
- Land game drive (safari) experiences in Kruger National Park were exciting and thrilling. It’s a pity there was a last minute change to accommodation due to Makalali Main Lodge’s sudden closure resulting from extreme weather event damage in March 2026. The Elephant Walk Tented Camp was a nice alternative and was right next to the Crocodile Bridge gate entrance meaning quicker access to the National Park. Loved how each luxurious air conditioned tent had its own ceiling fan over the bed and seperate modern toilet and shower.
- River cruise on the Zambezi River, near Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe side) was a great way to see hippos up slightly closer than normal given the safety of the large cruising vessel.
- 3 night stay on Chobe River Cruise (Namibian and Botswana sides) was the ABSOLUTE highlight. The main boat is modern and gets refurbished each year (usually in January/ February). The service was excellent, plenty to eat and drink and the cruise includes all the water safaris as well as the opportunity to go fishing and visit Ijamwe village in Namibia, where the Subia language is spoken. The water safaris offered a unique experience especially seeing the wild animals living in/ coming down to the river to eat, hunt and play.
- Well arranged transportation between Zimbabwe/ Botswana/ Namibia especially the water border post crossings.

Tips:
1. Consider travelling a few days earlier to Cape Town to go to places not covered in the Globus tour. Google ‘Unlimited Premium Pass’ for itinerary ideas: https://capetown.citypass.co.za/about-the-premium-unlimited-pass/
2. Consider booking a safari in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, available through Illala Lodge’s tours and activities desk. A game drive on a private reserve offers a more personalised, high-end experience.
3. Avoid going on the ‘Victoria Falls cultural tour’ optional excursion available through Globus (terrible experience, pure money grab). On the contrary, the traditional Ijamwe village visit in Namibia (inclusive as part of the Chobe River cruise) was informative and memorable.
4. If going on the Chobe River cruise, you will likely need a visa to enter Namibia. To save time, and not have to wait in the stifling heat outside the customs border shipping container office, suggest coming with a prepaid e-visa (note: hard copy paper visa applications on site at the customs makeshift post can take ages to process).
5. Make sure you have a copy of your yellow fever vaccination certificate handy especially if there are any recent passport stamps from relevant countries or you risk being asked for bribes (e.g. USD, AUD, hiking shoes on your feet) by Zimbabwean airport officials on arrival.
Croatia & Albania Escape 0 Croatia & Albania Escape , ON, Canada, Mar 2026
Incredible Balkan Experience Across Three Countries. This tour through Croatia, Montenegro, and Albania exceeded expectations in every way. It was the perfect introduction to the Balkans - diverse, scenic, and culturally rich. In Croatia, highlights included walking through the historic streets of Dubrovnik, stunning seaside boardwalks in Split & Zadar, read more and exploring the stunning coastline along the Adriatic. Montenegro offered breathtaking views in Kotor, with its dramatic mountains and beautiful bay - easily one of the most picturesque stops on the trip.

Albania was a big surprise. The vibrant and progressive capital Tirana gave a unique mix of history and modern energy. The food across all three countries was fresh, flavorful, and very affordable. The itinerary was well-paced, balancing guided tours with free time to explore independently. Transportation was smooth, border crossings were handled efficiently, and hotels were well curated, comfortable and centrally located.

What made the trip stand out was our guide, Viktor Holub - knowledgeable, friendly, funny and passionate about the region. His insights, together with the excellently chosen local guides, gave us interesting information into Balkan history and culture which added a lot of depth to the experience. Overall: This is an excellent tour for first-time visitors to the Balkans who want a comprehensive overview without the stress of planning. Highly recommended.
Swiss Escape 0 Swiss Escape , NSW, Australia, Feb 2026
A lovely 8 day bus tour with Globus, this was my first tour with Globus. The Tour Director, Susanna, who has worked with Globus for 42 years was very knowledgeable, efficient and went out of her way to ensure all participants had a great time. The countryside of Switzerland is very beautiful and the accommodation throughout the tour was excellent read more with all breakfasts and a few dinners provided with the package.

Unfortunately, our time in Lucerne, did not go to plan, the yearly carnival (which is celebrated in all of Switzerland) started the morning after we arrived, so our castle tour and many attractions were closed. I feel this is something that Globus should have been aware of and alternative plans should have been put in place. The carnival itself was very festive and the street parade great to watch, but disappointing that items on our schedule were unable to be visited.

On the last day of the tour, the optional tour consisted of a visit to the Castles of Bellinzona with lunch - we were given 'free time' to wander through the historic Bellinzona district. Local points of interest were closed due to the carnival, the Castle is free to enter, lunch was provided, but was fairly basic, we then visited Como in Italy and again was given 'free time' to explore Como on our own. This should have formed part of the the tour and not a optional paid tour, as previous tour days we visited cities and were given free time to explore. The cost of this 'optional tour' was quite expensive for what was provided and this was discussed by the other tour participants, who were also disappointed with this optional tour. Overall, I enjoyed the tour.
A Beautiful Sightseeing Honeymoon 0 Italian Escape , IN, United States, Jan 2026
As 2 people who have never been outside of the U.S. my wife and I decided to visit a foreign country for the first time, together for our Honeymoon. Globus make the booking and touring process extremely easy and hassle-free. They also provided us with an amazing price for a week long tour through Italy. Visiting the historic and beautiful towns of Rome, read more Florence, Venice, Assisi, and Pisa with guided tours was a once in a lifetime experience, and all we went to do is go back. We will definitely be booking our next travel through Global Journeys!
Beautiful Rio! 0 Brazil & Argentina Escape , QLD, Australia, Jan 2026
Thank you Hannah and Global Journeys for organising our wonderful trip to Brazil and Argentina. It was an amazing way to kick start our month long adventure in South America and Antarctica. We loved Rio De Janeiro, such a beautiful city. Huge highlight was visiting Iguassu falls and getting to see toucans and flamingos at the bird park. We also loved read more Buenos Aires, the Paris of South America. As per usual Hannah took care of everything for us and answered all our questions. We'll be booking with Hannah again in the future! Thank you Global Journeys.
