We liked the more flexible nature of the Costsaver tour with options to join additional activities or arrange our own time. A couple of the hotels were disappointing and although not an inclusion many of the guests would have liked the hotel to be close enough to facilities to provide for breakfast. In Vancouver Island the hotel provided a breakfast read more room but we were not allowed to enter even to purchase a snack. Moving the hotel to Canmore when we were told we would stay in Banff was very disappointing we wouldn't have chosen this tour had we known at the time of booking. Bus and tour guide were very good. The new app for booking additional activities was always showing full when it wasnt. Needs work to be more dynamic.

Thanks to Tracy for looking after our booking with the Middle East conflict affecting the uncertainty of the tour. We had a great tour with only 20 people on our tour with plenty of room on the bus. The downside was having 20 on board some elected not to rotate with nothing being inforced. We had great commentary from our tour director Simmone of the read more history of the UK. Some of the optional tours were a bit expensive due to our dollar compared to the English pound and Euro. We had a record heat wave for May in the UK with only 2 days we had rain for half an hour on our optional walking tours which we accepted. The accommodation was good apart from Treacy's in Waterford being an Irish Pub. A couple of hotel meals were an inconvenience due to the hotels booking out dinners and the the hotels being out of town was not acceptable and treated as such. More time in Dublin would have been nice as we only had time to go to the Guiness factory with 8 of us doing the tour on our own which should have been part of the optional tours. If you want to see the UK Costsaver 15 day Britain and Ireland experience is worth considering.

I found the actual Costsaver tour absolutely amazing. I did all the optional extras and they were all well worth it. The only issue I had was with Global Journeys themselves, as I had 3 different agents and I didn't feel I was important once I had booked and paid for the tour.
While the days on the bus were long, regular stops were made. Tour was one day on bus then one day in the destination city. Included city tours were good. We did most of the optional experiences and these were all excellent. Some hotels were below expected standard.
The tour was really good, I saw some amazing places. I booked for twin sharing and got an amazing roommate. I wish there were some extra drop off points on the last day and the operator details were shared bit earlier than the trip.
The guide Cameron was a legend, he looked after us all. Only critisism is of the tour design, I think you really need two nights in Florence and as with Germany, to be able to capture more. We just sped through those places. Otherwise it was great!

Wonderful trip through the Canadian Rockies - sunshine and great weather. Loved the spectacular scenery and included options. Tour organisation from overall tour delivery company was average, with some less than ideal accommodation locations for ease of exploring, and major difficulty in completing payment for optional excursions - although TD and read more driver compensated for some of that making the best of the circumstances.
It's the first time I have travelled with Costsaver. Overall the tour was very good and the tour guide and driver did a good job. We visited some amazing places my top picks was Monument Valley and Yellowstone. I would consider travelling with them again.
We are very glad that we booked this toor with Costsaver! The trip was very well organised! Both our tour director and driver were excellent! We were in good company with our fellow travellers. We have seen many spectacular National Parks on the tour.
Really enjoyed the introduction tour of scandinavia! John was great travel director and Marcin was a great driver! Great use of local tour guides especially Adi who has a fun personality suited once you get to Stockholm. Wish you could stay in Copenhagen and Stockholm longer to make this tour a 14-15 day instead because they were fairly large cities. read more If you are doing this tour, I would recommend to try arriving 2 days earlier to explore a-bit more of Copenhagen and stay another day or 2 in Stockholm. Norway was at the right amount and the Flam rail and cruise through the Nærøyfjord is a must for future tourist.
Now we also experienced a very hot summer (which was very rare according to locals) but wish some of the hotels had fans or vented cooling. Other than that, the hotels in Copenhagen, Bergen & Stockholm were great! Thanks again Costsaver for a great experience!

I’m a first time Costsaver traveler usually go with Trafalgar but I thought I’ll give them a go. I’m travelling solo and we had the best group and had the best time. The trip was wonderful, I was a bit hesitant that it would be too rushed being the cheaper level of travel, but I didn’t feel like it was. Yes I will agree the hotels are not the same standard read more as Trafalgar but in saying that have had some dodgy ones with Trafalgar. The hotel rooms were on the small side but I’m travelling solo so it didn’t matter only one place I felt it was ridiculously small. The rest were fine comfortable and clean. I would travel with Costsaver again. The itinerary was great and saw some wonderful things. Some of the optional experiences were pricey and three in particular I didn’t feel they were worth that amount of money. Global Journeys were fabulous as usual.
Great trip, highlights being Iguassu Falls & Machu Picchu. Downsides, 4 internal flights which involved long hours at airports, plus overly priced Choice Experiences. Both Travel Directors very knowledgeable & passionate about their respective countries. Very customer service oriented.
Booking was fast and easy. Amazing tour, but fast paced with early morning and evening arrivals due the time of year. Perhaps this tour is more suited for spring than winter as longer days of light would have enabled us to see more of the destination along the route and apon arrival. Lots of fun and excursion options.
Overall we had a good holiday with the small group which we enjoyed, The Travel Director and both guides were extremely good & very helpful & accommodations were excellent & our coach, drivers were also very friendly. Our only oncern was when we went to Sun world BA NA Hills. The Travel director didn't come with us so we struggled & due to severe weather read more conditions at the hill we were unable to see all the attractions. Looking forward next tour with Global Journeys in 2025.
A 25 day coach tour, East to West through the southern states of USA. The pace was fairly relaxed, majority of our daily departures were around 8 am, and arriving in our next destination mostly by 5 pm. We started and ended with 2 of the busiest cities, New York and LA and everything in between, beautiful mountains of Shenandoah to magnificent Monument read more Valley, and vibrant cities like New Orleans and Las Vegas along the way. Informative commentary was provided on history and demographics of places visited. We had a great group of 99% Aussies, similar in age and all got on so well, all respectful of our time lines and had no delays on our travels. A great holiday to explore this vast region of USA.
This road trip had all the iconic landmarks covered. The Tour Director was knowledgeable and informative. This tour was not only great but educational as well. Accommodation in Las Vegas was at Golden Nugget which was too far away from The Strip. Would prefer a hotel more central and walkable.

Costsaver is a budget option, that has pros and cons. Rooms were good, a few were out of town, but that was not an issue for me. The itinerary could be shortened by a couple of days, as the coach wastes time in many comfort stops with excessive down time. The itinerary could be reviewed as hours in tourist stops could be consolidated and make for a read more better experience. So many fudge and ice cream shops! Not having food provided, suited me and gave me flexibility for more simple meals. Fall foliage was late in 2024, so our early trip had about 30% colour which was still amazing, it is nature after all. Our Costsaver Fall foliage tour director was a disappointment, boring, lazy and generally grumpy to the guests. He should be retrained in customer service. Overall I would rate the Costsaver Fall Foliage tour of 21st September 2024 a 3 rating out of 5.
