Terms & Conditions

Global Journeys act as an agent for and sells travel related products and services as an agent on behalf of various travel service providers ('operator)'. The services we provide to you pertain to that agency relationship.

Our obligation to you is to (and you authorise us to) facilitate travel bookings on your behalf, arrange relevant contracts between you and the operator, arrange travel documentation for the relevant travel bookings, and procuring refunds, travel credits or other forms of compensation where available.

We exercise care in the selection of reputable travel service providers, but we have no control over, or liability for, the products and services provided by third parties and we cannot guarantee the performance of any travel service provider. Global Journeys is not responsible for the acts or omissions of such operators or their subcontractors or their failure to provide services, adhere to their own schedules, or honour their contracts. All information, prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

Bookings made on your behalf by Global Journeys are subject to the relevant travel service provider’s terms and conditions. You must read and accept these prior to finalising your booking. Links to the terms and conditions of each travel service provider are provided on each operator page (see 'Operators' menu at the top of this page) and are also accessible via a link when you enquire with us and in our booking portal.

Prices And Payments

You can pay your deposit to Global Journeys by credit card (1.5% CC fee applies) or by bank transfer (to avoid the credit card fee). Full details are provided on your quote. International clients outside of Australia or NZ are required to pay by credit card.

Your non-refundable deposit is held by the Operator to secure your place(s) on the trip or cabins on board the ship.

All prices, rates or fares provided on this website are subject to change at any time without notice. Special conditions may apply to the prices on this website.

The prices shown on this website are per person, unless specifically indicated. Your trip is not confirmed until you receive a booking confirmation from Global Journeys and your deposit (or full payment) has been received by Global Journeys.

In the case of invoicing errors, Global Journeys reserves the right to re-invoice with updated pricing up until the Booking Confirmation is sent to you. You are entitled to a full refund of your trip deposit if you do not accept the changes.

Cancellations, Amendments & Refunds

Subject to your refund and remedy rights under Australian Consumer Law, the following change or cancellation fees will apply to your booking.

Cancellation Fees will be imposed by the operator when you cancel your booking. For specific charges, please consult the respective operator's Terms & Conditions, accessible via a link in our booking portal and on each operator page (see 'Operators' menu at the top of this page).

Amendment Fees may be imposed by the operator if you need to make changes to your booking. Global Journeys do not charge amendment fees. For specific operator charges, please consult the respective operator's Terms & Conditions.

Global Journeys charge a AUD 100 Cancellation Fee per person (capped at AUD 200 per booking), in addition to any Cancellation Fees charged by the operator or cruise line. This Cancellation Fee also applies if you have purchased deposit protection plan offered by some operators. (eg. Gold Seal Protection, Safetynet Protection, or APT/Travelmarvel Cover).

If you choose to pay for any part of your trip by credit card, and a refund is due to you for whatever reason, the credit card fee is non-refundable.

Important Notes

Booking Your Own Flights
If you are booking your own flights, please don't book them until you have been notified by Global Journeys that your places on the tour (or your cruise cabin) have been confirmed. If you are booking a land tour please also wait until we notify you that your departure date has been set to a 'definite/guaranteed departure' by the Operator.

Airline Refunds
All airlines impose cancellation and change penalties up to 100% for many discounted tickets. All tour operators, cruise lines, and some resort hotels impose cancellation and change penalties, too. Please view the applicable rules before you make your reservation.

Flight Delays
Flight delays are very common today. If your flight is delayed for any reason, the airlines are not required by law to pay for any expenses you may incur, such as meals, hotels or missed connections to your cruise or tour.

Check Your Travel Documents
As soon as we send you your travel documents, or you have access to your booking through the operator's App or Portal, check through them thoroughly to ensure they are correct with regards to names, dates & times, and for cruises your cabin category.

Schedule changes by the operator are possible. We urge you to re-check exact flight times prior to departure and prior to your return.

When you book a trip or cruise, we collect the operator's deposit when the reservation is made. The amount of the deposit, the refund allowed, and the cancellation terms vary according to the operator or cruise line. See 'Cancellations, Amendments & Refunds' above for more details.

Final Payment
For all trips, full payment is required before the operator will release your finalised travel documents.

Travel Insurance Protection

Global Journeys strongly recommends that you purchase Travel Insurance. With some operators it is compulsory to have travel insurance organised before travel documents are issued. At present Cover More are providing Australian's with travel insurance that includes COVID-19 Benefits.

Webjet Gift Card Vouchers

If you hold an e-gift card issued by Webjet Exclusives resulting from a prior booking, Webjet now offers the opportunity to redeem your Gift Card with Global Journeys.

(a) If you choose to use your Gift Card balance to pay for your trip, Webjet Exclusives will transfer to Global Journeys an amount from the available balance on your Gift Card to pay for the trip.

(b) The available balance on your Gift Card will be applied to your booking, covering the deposit (if applicable) and remaining cost of the trip. If the full cost of the trip exceeds the available balance on your Gift Card, you will be required to make up the difference between the purchase price and the Gift Card balance using a method of payment accepted by Global Journeys at the time of booking.

(c) Any unused balance remaining on your Gift Card will continue to be governed by Webjet Exclusives’ terms and conditions of card issue. The transfer of funds from your Gift Card balance to Global Journeys is irreversible and valid for a period of 3 years from the date of the initial transfer.

(d) In the event you cancel the trip or the Operator cancels or postpones the trip, the Gift Card amount and any other funds received will be held in credit with Global Journeys, less any Operator cancellation charges (if any apply as per the Operator's Terms and Conditions). No refunds will be issued but will be held in credit to be used against future trips for a period of 3 years from the date of the initial transfer.

Travel Documents

Please ensure you carefully read your invoice and all other documents we send to you as soon as you receive them, and contact Global Journeys immediately if any information appears to be incorrect. We will not accept any liability if you fail to notify us of any inaccuracy in any document within 14 days of us sending them to you.

While we will do our best to rectify any changes made outside this time, it is your responsibility to meet any additional costs which may be involved, except in the case of an error made by the operator and where there is reasonable justification for you not contacting us within the specified time.

You are responsible for ensuring that all necessary travel documents including, but not limited to, passports, visas and vaccination certificates are valid and subsisting. We strongly recommend that you verify current documentation requirements and all other relevant protocols and procedures associated with your trip with your Travel Advisor. Please note requirements change and you must check with your Consulate for the most up to date information.

Passports must have an expiry date of at least six months after completion of the trip.

When you enquire with us, we ask if you have any pre-existing conditions which may impact your ability to travel, or participate on the trip. If you answer yes, then a "Health a Mobility" questionnaire will be sent to you by your Travel Advisor. It is your responsibility to complete this and to forward onto the operator. Please refer specifically to your operator's Terms & Conditions pertaining to 'Travellers Who Require Special Assistance'"'

Validity and Change

Although we go above and beyond in our efforts to update the information on our site, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied that the content on our site is accurate, complete or up-to-date. In any event, our website content is only valid at the time it is downloaded, and may change on a subsequent visit to our website. We shall be entitled to change our website content from time to time, and cease providing any particular website content (including part, functionality or service of our websites), without notice, and for any reason.


Our site information has been sourced from a variety of travel operators, service providers, and other sources. We can not verify the accuracy of our travel provider's trip information and we can not warrant their accuracy or completeness.

We do not guarantee that our websites or any website content will be free from errors or omissions. There may be mistakes and errors in our website content which we fail to notice, which will not be binding on us. We reserve the right to correct any errors in our website content and to change any of our website content (including services, products, availability, and pricing) at any time without notice, including in any booking or order you have submitted or contract you have entered into with us on the basis of it. If any correction affects any booking you have submitted or contract you have entered into with us to your material detriment, then we will give you the opportunity to cancel the booking rather than accept the change.

Global Journeys protects the privacy of all of our customers. We have developed a privacy policy to keep you informed of what information we may collect from you, what this information will be used for, with whom such information will be shared, and the security procedures we have implemented to protect your privacy. Our site information has been sourced from a variety of travel companies, service providers, and other sources. We can not independently verify the accuracy of our travel supplier's information and we can not warrant their accuracy or completeness.

As a responsible travel agency we seek to maintain and enhance our reputation of providing you with high quality products and services. While we don't like them , we do value complaints as they assist us to improve our products, services and customer service. We are committed to being responsive to the needs and concerns of our customers or potential customers and to resolving your complaint as quickly as possible. These terms are effective until terminated by Global Journeys, for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination, you must destroy all materials obtained from These Sites and any and all other Global Journeys site(s) and all copies thereof, whether made under the terms of these terms or otherwise.

Limitation Of Liability

Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall Global Journeys be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials in these sites, even if Global Journeys or a Global Journeys authorized representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. In no event shall the total liability of Global Journeys to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort, including but not limited to negligence, or otherwise) shall exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing these sites.

Governing Law

If any dispute arises between you and us, the laws of Australia will apply. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia, and waive any right that you may have to object to an action being brought in those courts.
