One of the Best   1 Kruger to Cape Town , SA, Australia, Aug 2025
We opted to go to ' Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park' before the Bunnik tour 'Kruger to Cape Town'. The Victoria Falls were magnificent and our guide informed us of the history as we explored the area on foot. The 'Under the Bridge' walk was fun from where we had great views of the Falls. Accommodation at the Llala Lodge was comfortable and we read more enjoyed having wildlife outside our lodge window. We had 2 nights on the Chobe Princess with 3 others. It was full of adventure with small boat rides on the Chobe River looking for wild life along the river.

After 7 days we flew back to Johannesburg and met up with the group of 11 plus Jenny, our guide, for the whole of the tour, ending in CapeTown. Highlights were visiting Soweta, Satyagraha House, the residence where Ghandi lived for a short time and the Chimpazee sanctuary. Our time at Kruger NP was spent in Safari trucks visiting several wildlife Game reserves at different times of the day. Accommodation in Kruger was unique. We spent 2 nights in the 'Train on the Bridge' hotel which had beautiful suites to stay in. All our guides in Kruger were friendly, experienced and had detailed knowledge of the wildlife parks.

We flew to George on the southern coast and from here we travelled along the coastal roads visiting wineries, an ostrich farm, Botlierskop Game Reserve, penguins at Boulder Beach and whale watching. We were also followed by hundreds of dolphins chasing the boat. What luck! CapeTown is a beautiful city with a backdrop of Table Mountain. It was a fabulous view from the top on a beautiful day. Another highlight was a boat trip to Robben Island where Mandela was imprisoned.
Jenny, our guide was knowledgeable about the history of S Africa . She was friendly, considerate and we could not have asked for a better guide. Thank you Hannah from Global Journeys and Bunnik Tours for a wonderful adventure in South Africa.
Bunnik Scandinavian Discovery followed by Avalon Romantic Rhine River cruise 1 Scandinavian Discovery , QLD, Australia, Jul 2025
Tour guide for Bunnik (Ece) was amazing, very helpful, caring and knowledgeable. We loved this tour and would absolutely recommend it to anyone. July was a good month to travel to Scandinavia. Flying between the countries and touring each region by bus was a great way to cut down on the long bus trips required otherwise.
A great short tour 0 Budapest to Prague , South Australia, Australia, Jun 2025
This was our first visit to these 4 capitals and we were very happy with the Bunnik tour. Our tour Director, Klemen, was outstanding. The Bunnik itinerary was flexible so we could add in extra stops without rushing the scheduled visits. We could do as much or as little walking as we wanted as Klemen always gave us options. Our tour had only 8 travellers read more so all our stops were much more efficient than would have been on a larger group. We combined this tour with a 20 day Bunnik ‘Jewels of Dalmatia’ tour of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia. We can definitely recommend both these tours.
Jewels of Dalmatia   0 Jewels of Dalmatia , QLD, Australia, Jun 2025
What a fabulous tour. It was so interesting visiting Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia (Hvar, Bled and Ljubljana just some of my personal favourites). There's a fair bit of walking involved in different city centres/old towns (often over slippery cobbled streets), as well as long walks along lakes and gorges, which would be a little difficult for those read more with mobility issues. Thoroughly enjoyable day excursions and experiences were had. Be aware that the weather was very warm (June), and that some locations, particularly along the Adriatic coastline, were very crowded with tourists. That aside, there was so much to enjoy on this tour, and I really enjoyed learning about the history of these countries, and the journeys they have endured over the centuries to become the countries they are today. Lastly, we loved the smaller tour group size offered by Bunnik Tours....so much better than the larger group tours I have been on in the past!! We were blessed all round with a wonderful group of fellow travellers, a 10 out of 10 tour director, and a great bus driver. Highly recommend this tour, you won't be disappointed.
Wonderful, well organised tour   0 Jewels of Dalmatia , SA, Australia, May 2025
This was our first Bunnik’s small group tour. We had 17 travellers on a full sized coach, so plenty of room for everyone. The tour had a great blend of tours, sightseeing and free time. It also provided a great range of old cities with their small streets, beautiful architecture, castles, forts, walled towns, churches, as well as stunning natural read more beauty. We especially loved Lake Bled, Dubrovnik, Vintgar Gorge, Plitvice Lakes and the beautiful and relaxing city of Ljubljana. One of the biggest surprises was the visit to the Postojna Caves. The size and beauty of these caves is impossible to describe. Slovenia is simply amazing and I encourage everyone to visit it. It considerably quieter than most other European tourist hotspots.

Our Tour Director, Klemen, was outstanding and he went out of his way to add extra sites to our itinerary without rushing us. At the end of each day he sent us a handful of ‘the highlight’ photos he had taken during the day, which was a great way of recording all the things we had seen and visited. Prior to commencing the tour we were slightly disappointed with the small number of lunches and evening meals included. However, we quickly discovered that on most days we only needed an ice cream and drink for lunch and a light dinner, so it makes sense not to pay for a large meal every evening.
The included meals were of a good standard. Overall, this was a well organised and perfectly balanced tour. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering this part of the world.
Small group Bunnik Tour of Italy   0 Italian Discovery , NSW, Australia, May 2025
Love the small size of 15 people, maximum size for Bunnik Tours is 20. Saw lots of different parts of Italy. Feel like we saw all the important places. Good mixture of transport eg, coach, fast train and ferry. Well organised tour and the local guides were particularly good. Would recommend this tour if you want to see Italy.
Great Trip A Real Jewel 1 Jewels of Dalmatia , VIC, Australia, Apr 2025
Our Trip to Croatia with Bunnik Tours was great value for money. A great mix of activities, caves , waterfalls and forests and above all a wonderful tour leader, competent driver and a great bunch of fellow travellers. Overall visits to Bosnia , Slovenia and the Istrian Peninsula added to a wonderful holiday😊😀
Thoroughly enjoyable Jewels of Dalmatia tour.   0 Jewels of Dalmatia , ACT, Australia, Apr 2025
Our journey was pleasant and worry free from the very start. As a small group of eight, we were not crowded in our full sized bus and were able to establish easy, friendly relationships within the group. It was an excellent time of year for this tour as it wasn't too hot nor too cold and not too crowded at the various sites. Martina was an excellent read more tour manager. She was knowledgeable, professional and always on the lookout to ensure our every need was met. She even was there to say goodbye when our airport transfer left at 3.30am as we had a six o'clock flight. We found Bunnik delivered on all they promised and we would definitely travel with them again and recommend them to anyone. Likewise Global Journeys organised our tirp well and their communications were clear. Well done! We are happy customers.
Japan Discovery   0 Japan Discovery , NSW, Australia, Mar 2025
We had a wonderful time on Bunnik’s Japan Discovery. We saw snow in the Alps and the Cherry Blossoms were amazing.
The accommodation was excellent as was the included meals and activities. We travelled by coach and trains including several times on a bullet train. As always Georgie from Global Journeys did an amazing job of organising another holiday read more for us. This was our second Bunnik tour and have another trip booked so I highly recommend them and Japan Discovery.
Bunnik Japan Discovery Tour Review 0 Japan Discovery , VIC, Australia, Mar 2025
We were very lucky to experience cherry blossom at its best in all cities and we had the added bonus of experiencing snow in the area around Mount Fuji. We also had a group of 18 Australians who were experienced travellers who all related well. The 15-day itinerary worked well, but we did not enjoy some of the group activities and would have preferred read more to get to the hotels earlier on several of the days. Suggestions include remove Samurai experience in Osaka, removing the Japanese black ink calligraphy experience, removing the group Japanese tea ceremony and replace with a more traditional experience and replace the beer/sake brewery tour with sampling at a small brewery in Takayama as part of the included walking tour. We think Bunnik should include night walking tour to Geisha area in Gion.

Our tour director was a very friendly gentle Japanese lady who did her best. Unfortunately, her communication skills were not good. Typically, she would speak at length explaining directions, history, etc and then the tour group would look at each other and comment if anyone had understood what she had just said. The group worked around this limitation by asking a lot of questions to try and fill in the gaps. This was stressful and frustrating at times. We also received little guidance on recommended things to do in our free time and we were mostly left to plan on our own.

The hotels were good and some exceeded our expectations. On several occasions we arrived late and did not have time to utilise the excellent facilities that were available. Overall, we rated the Bunnik Japan Discovery Tour at 7/10 and feel that it was expensive for what was included.
Memorable tour of South Korea   1 South Korea in Depth , NSW, Australia, Mar 2025
What a great tour Bunnik's South Korea in Depth was! From the tour guide, to the itinerary, sightseeing, special experiences, accommodation, to the included meals and little delectable surprises along the way - everything was excellent. The tour was well organised; it was clear that a lot of thought has gone into it to ensure a wide range of experiences read more and exposure to the different aspects of the rich South Korean culture. The tour guide elevated the trip to another level with her deep knowledge of and love for her country, cheerful disposition and her ability to balance the group dynamics. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to anyone considering a visit to South Korea. As always, the communication from Global Journeys was excellent and the service highly efficient.
Worry free Japan Discovery   1 Japan Discovery , NSW, Australia, Mar 2025
What a seamless tour with Bunnik and their amazing guide Yoko. Our guide so knowledgeable, friendly and organised that we were always at ease. Our tour by coach, local train and 3 bullet train trips was planned without a hitch. This is a very full on tour with only a small amount of free time. Our group of 20 travellers from all over Australia got on read more fantastically and we ended up as a little family. The highlights were the included special events,; calligraphy , sushi making, paper making, sumo and samurai. A really fun time. The negatives were the early morning starts most days, the hot breakfast choices that were cold, but the most negative was the flights were not direct to Japan and required a layover in Singapore on both legs. Otherwise highly recommended.
Amazing Japan   1 Japan Discovery , NSW, Australia, Mar 2025
We have just completed a16 day trip to Japan with 18 other Australians and our amazing guide Yoko. Yoko was a most knowledgeable guide who used visual aids and hand drawn maps and diagrams to highlight her information. Our daily scedules were clear and we used all forms of transport on our daily tours. We loved the group cultural activities such as read more sushi making calligraphy and paper making. The group bonded in sharing experiences during displays of tea making sumo wrestling and warrior displays. So much fun.

The weather in late March was cool but good for walking. Highhlights were seeing a snow covered Mt Fuji emerge from cloud and our first cherry blooms along the river of the Philosophers walk in Kyoto. Returning to our hotels each evening was a treat as they were well located for cafes and restaurants and very comfortable. We rate this tour as 5 star and thank Yoko and Bunnik for all the magic and fun experiences.
Incredible India 0 Colours of Rajasthan , NSW, Australia, Feb 2025
Incredible India is not just the marketing slogan designed to entice tourists to visit the Subcontinent. India is truly incredible. Yes, it is gloriosly chaotic, dusty, polluted, littered with debris, neglected architectural and other treasures, but at the same time it is so rich in history, mythology, breathtaking buildings and art, cuisines, natural read more and human resources. The tour offered a solid glimpse into the colourful mosaic that is Rajasthan.

The sightseeing was the absolute highlight for me. We were also offered a range of experiences that added to/complemented getting a better sense of the life and traditions of India. The accommodation was largely in character properties, usually not centrally located. The included meals were good, there was a reasonable balance between organised and free time. Perhaps the optional activities could be better selected. Overall, an enjoyable, good value tour. I have to mention the impeccable service received by the Global Journeys' Senior Travel Advisor, Tracey Standing, whose timely communication, follow through and patience I have greatly appreciated. I'd to use both Global Journeys and Bunnik in the future.
Amazing, magical, memorable and…just book it - Bunnik Tours, Egyptian Discovery! 1 Egyptian Discovery , QLD, Australia, Oct 2024
We enjoyed every nanosecond of our tour from the moment we were met by Saeed at the airport until he saw us off again after a most memorable tour. Bassem (our guide, very approachable and a knowledgeable Egyptologist) also deserves a special mention for making our tour exceptional.

To choose a highlight is near impossible as the whole tour was probably read more one of, if not the best that we’ve ever done. (We’ve visited close to 60 countries over the past ten years). The Nile River Cruise, Dendera Temple Complex, Tombs of the Nobles and the Hot Air Balloon at Sunrise over the Valley of the Kings are noteworthy though and none of the Optional Excursions should be missed!

We were lucky enough that the new Great Egyptian Museum (GEM) opened during our tour and as a special gesture Bassem took us there on the last day of our tour - so special to be able to experience a visit to the largest museum of its kind in the world - thanks Bunnik Tours!

Our accommodation was very conveniently located and well appointed. Staying in the Four Seasons at Alexandria, Steigenberger Nile Palace at Luxor and Mövenpick Resort at Aswan was a real treat!

We added an extra day before and after the tour and it was so worth it – we were able to do an unforgettable privately booked Sunset Camel ride at the Giza Pyramids (what a magical start to our time spent in Egypt) and some other wonderful tours in Cairo with which Saeed very ably assisted.

Only Egypt offers the opportunity to cruise and sail on the Nile, the longest river in the world; visit GEM, the largest museum of its kind on the planet; enter the Step Pyramid of Djoser in Saqqara, the earliest known large-scale cut stone construction (built around 2650 BC) and touch the only surviving structure from the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - the Great Pyramid of Giza.

And lastly – thanks Hannah Campbell and Global Journeys (since 2017 we’ve booked 10 tours with great prices quoted) for your promptness and once again fine-tuning our journey by handling extra accommodation, special requirements etc and in the past dealing with unforeseen cancellations and changes due to the Covid Pandemic. We are looking forward to our next Bunnik Tour to Sri Lanka, coming up very soon!
Fabulous tour of Northern Japan. 0 Colours of Northern Japan , SA, Australia, Oct 2024
Bunnik's 'Colours of Northern Japan' was an enjoyable experience. We travelled from Tokyo to Sapporo by coach and Shinkansen (bullet train) with 18 other travellers plus Mitchi, our Japanese tour guide who was one of the best. Hotels in all cities were centrally located and comfortable, most near convenience stores and cafes. Breakfasts were always read more something to look forward to as were lunches and dinners, mostly Japanese cuisine. ,A dinner cruise around Tokyo Bay and the scenic cruise along Geibikei Gorge were part of the itinerary.

We visited temples, castles, attended a tie- dyeing workshop and painted traditional Kokeshi dolls both of which were a lot of fun.
Most of the hotels in the north had hot springs which were relaxing after a long, busy day travelling. Autumn leaves started appearing as we travelled further north and on the island of Hokkaido they were at their best. A visit to the Sapporo brewery was interesting as was the Sake brewing experience. We travelled with a very cohesive group which always makes it more enjoyable.
We both thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would certainly recommend an Autumn visit to this part of Japan.
Amazing adventure through 5-Stans and Ancient Silk Road.   0 5-Stans , QLD, Australia, Sep 2024
This was my 9th booking with Global Journeys, although two were cancelled due to the pandemic. As usual, my booking request, and questions were answered promptly and professionally. It was such a pleasure to have Hannah Campbell deal with my booking. I have a 10th booking pending and I’m confident that it will be handled with the same efficiency. This read more was my 4th booking with Bunnik Tours, as they are exceptional value for money yet still provide that professional and friendly service. They are an Australian family owned and operated business, have exciting itineraries and operate with a maximum group of 20. I have already recommended Global Journeys, and Bunnik Tours to my family and friends for future travel.
Turkey & Greece 0 Turkey & Greece , NSW, Australia, Sep 2024
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Turkey & Greece with Bunnik. Organised perfectly by Georgie as always! We had great tour guides in each country, both enjoying passing on their extensive knowledge. So much history in both countries and the extra tours were enjoyable. The highlight was hot air ballooning in Cappadocia! The weather was perfect throughout read more our trip and we enjoyed our cruise of the Greek Islands and visiting some of the islands. Looking forward to our next trip with Bunnik.
Fantastic trip to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia   3 Georgia, Armenia & Azerbaijan , NT, Australia, Aug 2024
The tour was well organised with tons to see, do and learn along the way, particularly given the rich history, geography and culinary experiences available in each country. The special tour inclusions including local cuisine masterclasses and singers/ musicians in unique locations were particularly memorable. Local guides in Azerbaijan and Georgia were read more extremely professional and attentive to the groups needs. The local guide in Armenia was also very knowledgeable however could enhance travellers experience even further by proactively sharing practical information with the group well in advance (e.g. how long until next comfort stop).

Overall this was a comprehensive, well-paced, safe, scenic tour with a wide variety of experiences on offer. Each church, mosque, monastery visited also offered a unique experience, often with breathtaking views at each location.

TIPS: Bring good walking shoes, there’s a few challenging landscapes to navigate, but totally worth it! There are many (safe to use) bank machines available in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia to withdraw local currency from including via Australian visa cards. Currency rates are often much better locally than, for example, exchanging AUD cash at Dubai airport. Tour guides also provide opportunities to change local currencies at each land border crossing. In Yerevan, Armenia, you can also change various international currencies at the SAS supermarket (close to Hilton DoubleTree Yerevan City Centre hotel).

@ Global Journeys - Excellent organisation/ facilitation as usual. You are the only travel company we continue to book directly with.
Wonderful Small Group Tour 1 Northern Italy, Slovenia & Croatia , QLD, Australia, Jun 2024
We really enjoyed travelling with a group of 18 Australians. Our tour guide, Alan, was easy to get on with and he was very knowledgeable. The tour itself was interesting and varied. We particularly like the bus tour except our local tours always seemed to end when the shops were closed for siesta. More time to shop would have been wonderful. All read more the hotels were close to the centre of town so that made getting around easy. Plitvice Lakes were spectacular.
