Great Trip A Real Jewel   0 , VIC, Australia, Apr 2025
Our Trip to Croatia with Bunnik Tours was great value for money. A great mix of activities, caves , waterfalls and forests and above all a wonderful tour leader, competent driver and a great bunch of fellow travellers. Overall visits to Bosnia , Slovenia and the Istrian Peninsula added to a wonderful holiday😊😀
Thoroughly enjoyable Jewels of Dalmatia tour.     0 , ACT, Australia, Apr 2025
Our journey was pleasant and worry free from the very start. As a small group of eight, we were not crowded in our full sized bus and were able to establish easy, friendly relationships within the group. It was an excellent time of year for this tour as it wasn't too hot nor too cold and not too crowded at the various sites. Martina was an excellent ...read more tour manager. She was knowledgeable, professional and always on the lookout to ensure our every need was met. She even was there to say goodbye when our airport transfer left at 3.30am as we had a six o'clock flight. We found Bunnik delivered on all they promised and we would definitely travel with them again and recommend them to anyone. Likewise Global Journeys organised our tirp well and their communications were clear. Well done! We are happy customers.
Japan Discovery     0 , NSW, Australia, Mar 2025
We had a wonderful time on Bunnik’s Japan Discovery. We saw snow in the Alps and the Cherry Blossoms were amazing.
The accommodation was excellent as was the included meals and activities. We travelled by coach and trains including several times on a bullet train. As always Georgie from Global Journeys did an amazing job of organising another holiday ...read more for us. This was our second Bunnik tour and have another trip booked so I highly recommend them and Japan Discovery.
Bunnik Japan Discovery Tour Review   0 , VIC, Australia, Mar 2025
We were very lucky to experience cherry blossom at its best in all cities and we had the added bonus of experiencing snow in the area around Mount Fuji. We also had a group of 18 Australians who were experienced travellers who all related well. The 15-day itinerary worked well, but we did not enjoy some of the group activities and would have preferred ...read more to get to the hotels earlier on several of the days. Suggestions include remove Samurai experience in Osaka, removing the Japanese black ink calligraphy experience, removing the group Japanese tea ceremony and replace with a more traditional experience and replace the beer/sake brewery tour with sampling at a small brewery in Takayama as part of the included walking tour. We think Bunnik should include night walking tour to Geisha area in Gion.

Our tour director was a very friendly gentle Japanese lady who did her best. Unfortunately, her communication skills were not good. Typically, she would speak at length explaining directions, history, etc and then the tour group would look at each other and comment if anyone had understood what she had just said. The group worked around this limitation by asking a lot of questions to try and fill in the gaps. This was stressful and frustrating at times. We also received little guidance on recommended things to do in our free time and we were mostly left to plan on our own.

The hotels were good and some exceeded our expectations. On several occasions we arrived late and did not have time to utilise the excellent facilities that were available. Overall, we rated the Bunnik Japan Discovery Tour at 7/10 and feel that it was expensive for what was included.
Memorable tour of South Korea     1 , NSW, Australia, Mar 2025
What a great tour Bunnik's South Korea in Depth was! From the tour guide, to the itinerary, sightseeing, special experiences, accommodation, to the included meals and little delectable surprises along the way - everything was excellent. The tour was well organised; it was clear that a lot of thought has gone into it to ensure a wide range of experiences ...read more and exposure to the different aspects of the rich South Korean culture. The tour guide elevated the trip to another level with her deep knowledge of and love for her country, cheerful disposition and her ability to balance the group dynamics. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to anyone considering a visit to South Korea. As always, the communication from Global Journeys was excellent and the service highly efficient.
Worry free Japan Discovery     1 , NSW, Australia, Mar 2025
What a seamless tour with Bunnik and their amazing guide Yoko. Our guide so knowledgeable, friendly and organised that we were always at ease. Our tour by coach, local train and 3 bullet train trips was planned without a hitch. This is a very full on tour with only a small amount of free time. Our group of 20 travellers from all over Australia got on ...read more fantastically and we ended up as a little family. The highlights were the included special events,; calligraphy , sushi making, paper making, sumo and samurai. A really fun time. The negatives were the early morning starts most days, the hot breakfast choices that were cold, but the most negative was the flights were not direct to Japan and required a layover in Singapore on both legs. Otherwise highly recommended.
Amazing Japan     1 , NSW, Australia, Mar 2025
We have just completed a16 day trip to Japan with 18 other Australians and our amazing guide Yoko. Yoko was a most knowledgeable guide who used visual aids and hand drawn maps and diagrams to highlight her information. Our daily scedules were clear and we used all forms of transport on our daily tours. We loved the group cultural activities such as ...read more sushi making calligraphy and paper making. The group bonded in sharing experiences during displays of tea making sumo wrestling and warrior displays. So much fun.

The weather in late March was cool but good for walking. Highhlights were seeing a snow covered Mt Fuji emerge from cloud and our first cherry blooms along the river of the Philosophers walk in Kyoto. Returning to our hotels each evening was a treat as they were well located for cafes and restaurants and very comfortable. We rate this tour as 5 star and thank Yoko and Bunnik for all the magic and fun experiences.
Incredible India   0 , NSW, Australia, Feb 2025
Incredible India is not just the marketing slogan designed to entice tourists to visit the Subcontinent. India is truly incredible. Yes, it is gloriosly chaotic, dusty, polluted, littered with debris, neglected architectural and other treasures, but at the same time it is so rich in history, mythology, breathtaking buildings and art, cuisines, natural ...read more and human resources. The tour offered a solid glimpse into the colourful mosaic that is Rajasthan.

The sightseeing was the absolute highlight for me. We were also offered a range of experiences that added to/complemented getting a better sense of the life and traditions of India. The accommodation was largely in character properties, usually not centrally located. The included meals were good, there was a reasonable balance between organised and free time. Perhaps the optional activities could be better selected. Overall, an enjoyable, good value tour. I have to mention the impeccable service received by the Global Journeys' Senior Travel Advisor, Tracey Standing, whose timely communication, follow through and patience I have greatly appreciated. I'd to use both Global Journeys and Bunnik in the future.

Bunnik Small Group Touring
Bunnik Small Group Touring

When Marion Bunnik started Bunnik Tours, Australia didn't need another tour company - it needed a better way of touring! In an industry dominated by large multinationals and mass tourism, Bunnik Tours stands alone. Our aim is simple, to provide a better way for Australians to see the world. As a family business we understand that our family's name and reputation is at stake every time we sell a holiday. That's why we're proud to call these tours our own.

Bunnik's maximum group size is just 20, and even less for some tours in Asia & Africa. For us small groups make for a better holiday experience. They are more personal and you spend less time waiting and more time enjoying your holiday. Small groups are better for sustainability too! We get to visit smaller local businesses on our travels and stay in smaller centrally-located properties which are often impractical for large groups.

Return International Flights Included!
Return International Flights Included!

For Bunnik, it's all about providing you with flexibility to create your dream holiday which is why they provide both small group tours that include international airfares from Australia as well as land only small group tours. Their airfares have built-in flexibility so you're able to extend your stay, fly in or out of other cities or upgrade your flights to business or first class.

For tours where return international airfares have not been included, chat to our friendly Global Journeys Travel Advisors for the best advice. We have access to some fantastic fares.

Small group touring is about being shown around by locals and really capturing the essence of the destination. It means seeing the famous attractions but also wandering off the tourist trail. That's why we also include a range of experiences designed to capture the essence of the places we visit.
