We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Hannah when booking our “Best of Spain and Portugal” tour with Insight. From the very beginning, Hannah was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. She made the whole process easy and stress free. The Insight tour itself was fantastic, with beautiful destinations, wonderful experiences, and excellent read more organisation throughout. We had such a memorable time exploring Spain and Portugal, and Hannah played a big part in making the whole journey so enjoyable. We would highly recommend Hannah to anyone planning a holiday. Her knowledge, care, and personal service were exceptional, and we’ll definitely be going back to her for our next trip.
Great Coach tour with Insight Vacations - very nice coach, great Tour Director. We never imagined we would see so much history and real life in other countries. Tour was very well organized and the private boat trips and private water taxis in Venice were a real bonus. Met 27 other travelers and a great mix. All got on very well. Shared the days and read more the experiences together. Overall, a 10/10 from us.

Our trip was wonderful, especially the last leg driving south through Norway. Scenery/mountains were fantastic. Above all our tour director was magnificent. Given the above driving the highways through Sweden and Finland was great but on many occasions highways had trees lining them for kilometres and kilometres. Still it was chance to shut ones eyes read more and nod off for a while. Special thanks to Georgie. Absolutely supportive and helpful as usual.

This was our 4th tour booked through Global Journeys, our second with Insight Vacations. The trip was fantastic, giving us a good sample of what Ireland and Scotland have to offer. The sights were fantastic, as were our Travel Director, driver and local guides. Together, Global Journeys and Insight Vacations made this an easy and memorable holiday. read more Would definitely book with them again.

We had an excellent tour director and driver. We specifically chose this tour because we wanted to go to the Orkney Islands and Isle of Skye. We were unable to achieve this due to weather conditions for the Orkneys and motor bike accident that closed the road to the Isle of Skye and cut short our stay there. We were disappointed with Insight’s compensation read more for these cancellations, which was a trip to a historical cemetery, which was originally a paid optional extra, that we had chosen not to do. The cost of including the Orkneys and Isle of Skye was a reasonable as part of our tour cost. We were of the view a number of additional optional paid experiences did not represent good value for money, in particular the dinners, with the exception of the Torphichen dinner. Accomodation was 4 star with the exception of the highlands in Scotland which we rated as 2.5.
Eerything went very smoothly without any problems at all. Insight was a fabulous tour company, bus driver and tour guide were great (tour guide was Australian from Adelaide but lived in UK and Europe doing various things in the tourist industry for 40 years but spoke excellent English) so wonderful. We were the only Australians and it was a tour of read more around 24 people. Accommodation was excellent, meals were excellent and there was really nothing anyone could complain about as it catered very well to all people, different interests and activities, and overall was very well put together. I would highly recommend this tour and this tour company. We all got on very well and it was a wonderful 2 weeks and Italy is gorgeous!! Thank you Grace for all your assistance with our overseas trip. 😊
This was our 3rd tour with Insight Vacations over the years and once again a very enjoyable tour with good travel companions from different countries. Global Journeys were our Travel booking consultants who always look after us with our bookings, they run a very efficient service, and we started using Global Journeys in 2017.
In Germany the range of read more accommodation never disappointed us, and we always rose to a good feed at breakfast that accommodated for many nationalities. Our tour companions were friendly, fun and great to be with, our tour guide was a delight she had a wonderful bright personality and energy. We loved the many villages we visited and the local tour guides. Weather was excellent and our favourite area was the Bavarian areas of Germany, Neuschwanstein Castle and surrounding area was a special place to see. A very enjoyable tour.

We had a wonderful time touring the seven Balkan countries. Our tour director Taib made this trip more enjoyable with his knowledge of the region, effortless planning to get us through all the border crossing without any hassle. The scenery throughout was amazing. A special mention to our driver for guiding us through the many countries we visited safely. read more His driving skill we really appreciated. The tour was well paced, and all the attractions were a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit.

Country Roads of Scandinavia

We had a bit of everything Scandinavia has to offer. Pieter and Roland took us to the highlighted places but surprised us with a few spectacular extras that made the journey special.
This was a very good bus trip, and we particularly enjoyed travelling by ferry to the Orkney Islands. It is something not normally included in many Scotland trips. The sites there- Italian Chapel, Ring of Brogdar, Skara Brae and Skaile House were particularly interesting. Ethan Battison helped us tremendously in planning this trip and we highly recommend him.
This tour is overpriced and there were too many expensive optional extras which should have been included, the money was used up on good accommodation and average site seeing, the product is tied and needs a revamp, (we went with a low cost river cruise operator Croisi after this tour and everything was far superior to the bus tour and equaled our experiences read more with Emeral and Viking) the air-conditioning in the bus made most people sick and it was fobbed of as hay fever. Too much time wasted on catholic sites and being left to fend for ourselves where there was limited choice available.
We have completed this part of our ambitious 3 month holiday. We were very happy with Traceys handling of our booking and getting our documents released early before we left australia. We are now looking forward to our next Insight tour of Iceland commencing next week!
I loved having my trip organised by an experienced tour director. It takes a lot of the stress out of travelling, especially in non-English speaking locations. Hotel check-ins were a breeze & the min. 2 nights hotel stays were far better than just 1 night. The early starts were a bit challenging at times but it meant we saw more & were able to gain read more access to venues & events before the crowds arrived. The breakfasts were terrific as were our tour director & driver. The accommodation was great except in Rome where it wasn't satisfactory as my original room was very small, so after requesting a better room the reception man reluctantly moved me to a slightly better room. He wanted extra payment but I refused, after all I had paid a single supplement & expected a reasonable room.
Venice was exhausting. It was extremely hot & virtually no shade & the café waiters frowned if you stood under their outdoor umbrellas. Getting in & out of the smaller boats was difficult in Venice. Throughout the trip, some guests complained about the amount of walking & struggled trying to keep up with the guides.
Overall it was a lovely trip which took us to very special places, one being the music academy in Budapest with a solo piano performance. That was stunning. I chose not to do all the optional extras as I needed some unstructured time at the end of a long day, plus some optional extras were too expensive.

Saw all the highlights of the trip in perfect weather with a good crowd of fellow travellers. Alex & Roland made our experience of the north a smooth, interesting and fun journey and we would recommend this trip.
Destinations, bus comfort & top hotels made this tour exceptional. Included meals were always top class & guide was friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. Only negative was that 1 night stops made trip seemed rushed - 2 nights in each location would have provided more leisurely experience.
From the begining to the end, booking, touring Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland, our tour guide, coach driver, hotels, food, Qatar airlines - it was a wonderful experience with no blips.

Our guide, Brad, was amazing. He had such an extensive knowledge of everywhere we went. This was our fifth Insight tour and I would highly recommend them. Our booking with Global was seamless and Hannah was very efficient and helpful. The places we visited were very interesting, I especially enjoyed the dinner river cruise at night in Budapest. The read more Parliament building alone, is worth the effort.
Travelling with Insight Vacations is always enjoyable. More space on the bus, centrally located hotels, great tour director and driver. The only criticism would be that travelling at the back of the bus is really uncomfortable as it is hot, stuffy, noisy and bumpy. Grace, from Global Journeys was really helpful in the booking process.
This was a spectacular 10-day tour of Poland, from the southern mountains to the northern Baltic Sea. If you're seeking a comfortable way to travel with some adventurous, like-minded folks, this one is highly recommended. Tour guides and local experts offered insights and detail that we would not otherwise have encountered, and that alone hugely enriched read more our experience. Nina at Global Journeys made all of the needed arrangements, leaving us nothing else to do but enjoy this wonderful, worry-free bus tour. Highly recommend.
