Good tour of France 0 , NSW, Australia, Aug 2023
This was our 9th Insight Vacations trip. On the positive side we saw some great places and TD was very informative and insightful.
There were places like Nice that were big cities and not necessarily the country roads charm we expected. A bit slower paced than what we're used to and some hotels were disappointing.
Memorable tour through France 0 , NSW, Australia, Aug 2022
A smooth running trip, from pre tour (Georgie was great) to the experience throughout the tour. Happy with the accommodation standards and locations, and tour guide was engaging and helpful. Was pretty full-on throughout the tour as I did all the optional tours...this meant there wasn't much free time. Perhaps some of the optional tours should be included ...read more so it's pre-arranged to save time, like river cruise and gondola trip up the mountain. Overall, loved the tour and would have enjoyed a bit more time in some of the places to explore.
So good it did it twice 1 , VIC, Australia, Apr 2022
We had the best tour group. Our Tour Director Elisabeth, our driver and, this time, there was also a well being support person, were all excellent in every possible way. Most of the hotels were fabulous in great locations and the country road experience was so special, I didn't want to leave France. I enjoyed the same trip about 5 yrs ago and this ...read more time, it was slightly different, so that was even better. I would highly recommend this particular tour for it's regional experience through the wine growing countryside. However, the only part I wasn't too keen on was Monaco as it's not my style. My favourite area was the south west of France, so green, and the medieval villages are stunning.

It had a great variety of food and wine experiences combined with a variety of beautiful scenery and historical villages. Elizabeth our tour director took care of all our needs in a professional but caring manner.
Great tour of southern France 5 , WA, Australia, Sep 2018
We really enjoyed our Insight Country roads of France tour. Plenty of time to relax and plenty of free time to explore. Would recommend this tour in late September. The temperatures were ideal and very little rain. We do feel some of the Optional Excursions should have been included in the tour. We would highly recommend the optional dinner at a winery ...read more about 30 minutes from Dijon. Phillips and his family were very welcoming and the food was excellent. Making our booking with Georgie from Global Journeys was easy and efficient.
Fantastic Tour of France 3 , SA, Australia, Sep 2018
I absolutely loved this tour and made some great friends. I can highly recommend this tour, it was truly a country roads tour. We were lucky enough to have a fantastic Tour Director Frederic and coach driver Tex. Frederic is so knowledgeable about all parts of France. I enjoyed the trip so much my brother and sisters-in-law are going to do it next year. ...read more Thanks Jemma for organising it for me.
