Globus offer a premium guided touring experience all over the world, catering mainly for the 55+ market - but like most Operators are open to all ages. Along with their standard itineraries, Globus also have a range of popular European Winter Escapes and numerous faith-based religious tours.The majority if their trips are centred on Europe, Canada and the USA where they provide 4+ star accommodation, luxury coaches, plenty of meals & inclusions. Our team have enjoyed numerous journeys with Globus including trips to South America, Dalmatia, Mexico and Spain, so we have plenty of first hand knowledge to help you plan your next trip!
Upmarket coach touring, with 4.5+ star accommodation, maximum group sizes of 40 on a full size coach and more leisurely paced touring itineraries. The pricing of Insight's trips tends to attract travellers in their 60's and 70's. If you're tall, then you should seriously consider Insight, as their coaches been reconfigured to allow up to twice as much legroom as on a standard coach. Insight have recently launched trips through South America, and expanded their range of Gold Luxury Vacations, where you can expect the ultimate in luxury and refinement.We find that the feedback we get back from past clients is sometimes a little critical, and we feel this is because of the very high standard some of our clients are expecting due to Insight's positioning in the market. On every multi-day journey, there will always be little annoyances, but as a whole package the team here definitely recommend Insight worthy of your consideration. If you've travelled with any of its sister brands like AAT Kings, Trafalgar or Uniworld further savings are available.

Just returned from a wonderful Globus trip to the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Without doubt, the best tour guide I have ever experienced. Roseanne was a walking fact book, her knowledge of history was outstanding and every day was filled with great humour and professional presentations. Simply superb. The only disappointment was the size of the group which had 28 people which seemed large for a small group tour.

The weather gods were with us for our amazing 10 day tour of Northern Scotland, from our starting city of Edinburgh to our end point in Glasgow. New to us was a visit to Orkney, Mull and Skye, which we enjoyed immensely, particularly our visits to ancient Nordic and Viking sites. Our tour group of 38 people consisted of a mix of American, Canadian ...read more and Australian folk, so the conversation between cultures was both lively and interesting. Yes, there were minor comments about our many accommodation stays at times...but hey!... these buildings are over 200 years old, and it is a bit ridiculous to expect modern plumbing, modern lifts (where would you put them??) and level floors in rooms. This is the experience of 'travel'. Our rooms were always extremely clean and beds generally comfortable. The included breakfasts were well catered for with a wide variety of choices (toast is a bit of a 'miss'), and the included lunch and dinner options were generally very good.
The pace of our tour was good...some early starts to accommodate time schedules of the providers we were working with, and most of our arrival times at our next destination were about 4pm, which gave travellers time for a rest before dinner. We could not find fault with our wonderful tour guide, Dawn, who right from the moment she introduced herself to our group, was extremely well organised and totally on top of our schedule including posted notices with details of the next day itinerary where we could find it. Dawn was excellent providing us during our bus time, with an amazing overview of the next place we were visiting. Including the historical facts and folklore stories, weaving a wonderful tapestry of what we were seeing and its' importance in the lives of the people and and their culture through time. Dawns commentary was extremely well researched, consistent and at times, quite humerus! She was our 'mother hen' and we all felt safe and cared for during our tour. Thankyou Dawn! Our coach driver, Mark did a remarkable job driving us around for 10 days, quite often on difficult roads and in difficult weather and traffic conditions...including helping us down those high bus steps, and unloading our luggage. Thanks Mark! Overall, we both had a comprehensive tour of Scotland, and we felt that the company provided a very good value for money experience.

A comprehensive tour with a very knowledgeable guide in Pedro. The whole itinerary was enjoyable. Whilst so many, the cathedrals and castles were stunning and scenery breathtaking. A highlight for me was Porto - it has been my screensaver for several years! A trip not for the faint hearted with cobbled tile pavements and at times challenging steps into ...read more buildings. Accommodation in Lisbon at the Hilton felt like a prison, stark black corridors on each floor with room numbers impressed into the carpet at the door. Globus we arrived early and you offered transfers airport to city for A$80 pp each way! The airport was less than 10 kms away and organized transport could be booked for A$40 a car each way - not nice. The group of over 40 was a good one - everyone mixed and proved good company. (GJ. Organised transfers offered by the operator will always be more expensive than local transport options which is why, if tour clients are confident travellers, we recommend catching an Uber or taxis in most cases. However, some clients prefer the safety and knowledge that everything is pre-planned and pre-paid before they arrive.)
The scenery was sectacular and our guide was erudite, informative and catered to our interests. The itinerary was well organised, accommodation in varied and interesting locations, very good standard. Just back from our 17 day Insight Vacation trip around Italy and it was fantastic! We visited the most beautiful places in Italy, guided by our very knowledgeable guide and expert driver. We felt very safe in our brand new bus traveling around the beautiful Italian countryside. We were joined by 22 other passengers from different countries and we ...read more all got along famously. This is our second time booking a holiday with Hannah at Global Journeys, and she made it a very easy experience organising our Insight Vacation tour and flights etc. I would absolutely go on another Insight Vacations tour. All the hotels we stayed at were wonderful. We had a worry free, busy but relaxing holiday.

This has to be the most amazing trip that we’ve ever done. Thank you to Georgie for organising our trip and thank you to Alex tour director and Arpi our coach driver. We enjoyed this tour along the country roads of Southern Italy and Sicily, with a cohesive group of people from the U.S, Canada and Australia. Our tour guide, Mark, was highly rated, as well as the individual local guides. We transferred to Insight this time over Trafalgar in order to upgrade the position of our hotels to more central locations. April/May was a great time to travel through Croatia. The weather was lovely and it was not too busy. We were lucky to have Greg as our guide as he was very knowledgeable and made sure everything ran smoothly. Firstly, worry free time with the booking process through Global Journeys. The tour director Sharon was organised and always helpful. The hotels were all lovely, food delicious, too much to choose from for breakfasts ( yay, no having to do it ourselves) but we had plenty of exercise so that helped with the too much eating!!😆
