Firstly, worry free time with the booking process through Global Journeys. The tour director Sharon was organised and always helpful. The hotels were all lovely, food delicious, too much to choose from for breakfasts ( yay, no having to do it ourselves) but we had plenty of exercise so that helped with the too much eating!!😆
There was so much to enjoy, read more anyone would be totally happy with it all I’m sure! The time of year was perfect, not so busy with lots of tourists, the weather lovely, just right for us travellers! Perfect to travel with Insight, great to not have to handle our luggage , plenty of space in the comfy bus and the drivers are always courtous and safe drivers. We’ve done 3 separate tours, the UK covering 4 countries. The Bohemian covering 5 countries and Scandinavia covering 4 countries…. All went perfectly!!!
There was so much to enjoy, read more anyone would be totally happy with it all I’m sure! This trip was great thanks to Georgie and Sharon our tour director and our coach driver Tibor. We love going with Insight Vacations, they work everything out so well. Love Cesky Krumlov and Prague. Auschwitz very moving beyond words, bring tissues. Krakow fantastic and the salt mine was definitely a highlight. Everything about this trip I loved.
Trip was magical, so much snow very very pretty. Our tour guide Maria and driver Tomak added to the whole experience. A great bunch of fellow travellers and we saw the lights several times. Highlights are so many. Top of the world at North Cape was incredible. The huskies, the reindeer’s - all beautiful!

Booked through Global journeys for our Insight Vacation Tour and did not disappoint. GJ were so helpful with answering questions and helping get us organised. The tour with Insight was a winter wonderland snapshot. It snowed and the scenery and experiences were magical. The accommodation was excellent. This tour is a great way to see the wonders of ancient Egypt. The Valley of the Kings excursion was a highlight for us, plus the (optional but worth the $$$) trip to Abu SImbel. Cairo and its traffic are chaotic but the Marriott was an excellent respite. Internal flights were OK, but the security setup at airports can be challenging so make sure you read more allow lots of time before departure. Georgie and GJ were very helpful prior to our journey.
As per our last trips with Insight Vacations the East Coast USA was another winner. From the beautiful vistas of Bar Harbour and Arcadia National Park, the charm of Boston, the eye-opening hustle bustle of New York, to the historical places encompassing the majestic Washington DC the trip filled all our expectations. The tour director and coach driver read more met all our expectations built from previous Insight trips, the chosen sites for touring and the included dinner meals locations were both 1st class and iconic. We only had 16 travellers on our trip which made it a delightful personal experience.
This tour of Germany was absolutely delightful. The tour included a great variety of interesting historical sites and quaint, picturesque fairy tale towns. Thought Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Heidelberg were particularly special. The schedule was full as there were so many wonderful places to visit but did not feel rushed. Carl our Travel Director read more was outstanding! Highly professional, responsive, organised, knowledgeable and attentive to our every need. He ensured everything ran smoothly and was clearly explained ahead of time. Johann our driver also did a great job.
On most mornings, we departed the hotel at 8am which was perfect - not too early to wake up and also meant we arrived at the sites before the crowds. Regular and well-timed rest stops were also beneficial. Most hotels were located right in the centre of town so we were able to explore and have dinner in the town without having to worry about catching public transport or a taxi into town. All hotels included a full buffet breakfast. Coach was spacious and had free wifi and sockets to charge our mobile phones. Recommend doing this tour if you want to explore a variety of Germany towns and regions.

Touring the National Parks was brilliant. The tour guide was great as was the driver of our coach. Insight did not disappoint, To see the abundance of wild life so often was an added bonus that we did not anticipate. And of course booking our tour with Global Journeys was brilliant, just like all our previous dealing with them.
Everything about this tour was excellent. Coach was very comfortable, only 1 hotel in Rome was very tiny the rest were good. Tour guide very knowledgeable and caring. The itinerary was just right and not rushed. Global Journeys "Georgie" did an excellent job of our selection process, we'll be going with her next time we book. Insight vacations of course. They're the best.

The Britan and Ireland tour - our second trip back to back with Insight, again exeeded our expectations. Insight Vacations have done an amazing job with this tour too, which we both thoroughly enjoyed.
The tour leader and the driver are great. I'm having a great time. Enjoying the sites seeing for the first time. I really recommend if you want to visit Germany for short period of time.

We loved the variety of experiences on this trip. From the busy sights of Rome, Florence, Pisa and Venice to the charm of Lake Maggiore, Cinque Terre and the grandeur of the Dolomites, we saw Italy at its best. The pace was just right and tour guide excellent. The only downside was rather repetitive fixed menus for dinner in the early stages of the read more trip, which improved as we moved away from the busiest centres. Organisation by Global Journeys was great and everything clicked into place.

Thanks to Hannah from Global Journeys for organising the tour for us. You made it easy for us. This is the third trip with Insight and everything was well organised and comfortable with a good Tour Director and Driver in a new spacious coach. This tour showed other parts of Italy/Sicily we have not seen on other Italy tours. Highlights were getting read more to see the history going back to Greece invasion in BC times and Arib influences. Mt Etna is amazing. Would recommend this tour with Insight and Global Journeys for all their help.
We had 29 on our tour and we all got along. Quite often we would pair up with other couple to sit with at breakfast or dinner. We had a lot of fun with the other guests and everyone had a good sense of humour including our tour guide, Maja and the driver Laszlo. We had unseasonal warm weather in Copenhagen, Stockholm and most of Finland until we got read more to the Arctic Circle. We saw some amazing things and the scenery was breathtaking. Well worth it.
We enjoyed the scenery and lovely towns and villages. Too many long coach days though. Would have loved a more enthusiastic , passionate tour guide with some French music on the coach on the long travel days. Too many optional excursions that should be included like orientation walk of Nice and Aix en Provence.

Overall a good variation of what Italy offers from busy crowded Rome and Florence to seaside Santa Margherita, stunning Dolomites and finishing in Venice. Having done numerous Insight trips it is the combo of Tour Director and Driver who can really turn a group of strangers into a travelling family and TD Barbara and driver Gian Lucca were exceptional in every aspect.
We have arrived home from our Italian adventure, after a stopover in Singapore on the way home. Both Susan and I were very impressed with the Italian Elegance tour. In a short time we packed in the history and busyness of Rome and Venice, the beauty of Lake Maggiore and Tuscany, the wow of the Ligurian coast and lots and lots of snow in Cortina. We read more were lucky to have a good group joining us. Insight Vacations provided an excellent tour guide and a high standard of accommodation. Thank you for your efficient handling of our bookings, travel documents and tour information. Travel planning is much easier when all the details have been taken care of. Your guidance was important to us and we are both very grateful. Hopefully it will not be too long until one or both of us will be contacting you to book another trip.
Fantastic trip with lots of things to see without feeling rushed. Our Insight Vacations guide was fantastic, as was our driver. Lots of wonderful memories created. Fantastic for sightseeing and amazing food. We felt that we had good value for money with this tour. We booked three tours of Italy and Switzerland using travel agent Global Journeys. They read more were professional and responded to our queries promptly. Would highly recommend the tours as well as the travel agency.
