Near perfect. Tour Director (and Driver) were the most organised we have experienced. Spectacular countryside and enchanting historical cities and towns. Just be prepared to pay a lot for any snack or coffee or meal that you buy.
Our tour had a wide range of ages, some of whom had mobility issues, but his not uncommon and their needs were accommodated read more with minimal impact on the others. Two other things worth mentioning: English is the second language in Scandinavia and credit cards are accepted everywhere, so long as you have a functional PIN.

We had a wonderful tour of Scandinavia. Our August tour weather varied from 20C in the South to 10/8C and some light rain in the North, there were 36 passengers with the usual mix of Aust, NZ and USA. The tour is long (20 Days) but each day is filled with some of the most gorgeous scenery you will ever see. The highlights being the 4 capitals of read more Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki and Oslo and being above the Artic Circle, visiting North Cape and the Norwegian Fjords including Geiranger. There are 3 long driving days from Alta to Geiranger but with the scenery, a few history movies and ample stops every 2 to 2.5 hrs the trip in the comfortable Insight Vacations bus is good. Our TD Alex and Driver Gabor were excellent. This was our 10th tour with Insight Vacations, and we would recommend this tour as a great insight to Scandinavian beauty and its history. Thanks to Hannah P at Global Journeys for booking this for us and will be using Global Journeys next time.
This trip was the greatest and made so easy with Insight Vacations booking through Global Journeys. Accomodation extremely good, tour director excellent, pace excellent overall a magificent trip.

After my original tour with another company was cancelled, Grace stepped in and helped me find this fantastic alternative, filling a gap in my itinerary before heading home. She was polite, professional, and a pleasure to deal with.

I would highly recommend this tour. The only small drawback was the mid-July heat, though our Tour Director did a great job adjusting schedules to make the most of cooler mornings and allow afternoons to be enjoyed in the comfort of air-conditioned coaches or hotels.

Well designed tour with an itinerary that enables visitors to see the Golden Circle and many of Iceland's attractions. It truly is a country of natural wonders. The meals provided and the accommodation were pretty good. Some of the optional excursions such as the visit to the Whale Museum could've been included in the actual itinerary, The Tour Director read more and the Driver were excellent and worked very well as a team.. The TD was professional, very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. The booking of the tour via Global Journeys was an easy and seamless process and Tracey Standing did a marvellous job keeping us informed every step of the way and promptly answering all of my questions. I wholeheartedly recommend both the Insight Vacations tour of Iceland and Global Journeys.

Went to places I never would have contemplated. Like the Orkney Islands right at the top of Scotland. Stress less travel as you arrived at each hotel and given the key to your room and your bags would be delivered. Had a great 22 days.
I compared a lot of itineraries in choosing this trip and was pleased with my choice as it included a lot of the smaller towns I wanted to see...as a solo traveller. I was impressed with the size and location of my hotel rooms and the variety of food offered at breakfast buffets that covered all dietary issues...our tour guide Tim was fabulous; originally read more from Ailustralia but having married a Pole, he had first hand stories about customs and culture. My only negative feedback would be a lot of walking tours the first few days if you took all the optionals. However I arrived quite a few days before, so had already done some. We had a group of 32 and there was plenty of leg room on the coach which the driver kept spotless. Thank you to Rachael for a flawless booking.
Our thanks to Rachael from Global Journeys who did a fabulous job and paved the way, to help us effortlessly join Insight Vacations Grand Scandinavia Tour. We had a great mix of mostly Australian and New Zealanders with a few people from the US. June was a great time to go because everything was a vibrant green and with spring blooms but also there read more was snow on the mountains tops and the weather wasn’t too cold. At every turn there was stunningly beautiful scenery. Also, our Tour Director, Joey, was the best we have ever had. He made the whole tour and the places we visited come to life with timely insights, information, music, video, and treats :) and all with a smile. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Just back from our 17 day Insight Vacation trip around Italy and it was fantastic! We visited the most beautiful places in Italy, guided by our very knowledgeable guide and expert driver. We felt very safe in our brand new bus traveling around the beautiful Italian countryside. We were joined by 22 other passengers from different countries and we read more all got along famously. This is our second time booking a holiday with Hannah at Global Journeys, and she made it a very easy experience organising our Insight Vacation tour and flights etc. I would absolutely go on another Insight Vacations tour. All the hotels we stayed at were wonderful. We had a worry free, busy but relaxing holiday.
I can’t say anything bad about any part of this absolutely amazing holiday full of natural beauty , right from the initial booking with Global journeys, everything perfect about the bus tour from the amazing tour director to the courteous, caring bus driver with many impressive driving skills. The incredible hotels and I can’t begin to speak of the read more super impressive scenery…. Time of year, from May 9 to 28th… PERFECT!!! It even SNOWED ( first time for us) Yay!!! Thanks to all!!!
This has to be the most amazing trip that we’ve ever done. Thank you to Georgie for organising our trip and thank you to Alex tour director and Arpi our coach driver. The highlight for me was above the Arctic circle and visiting North Cape the most northern part of mainland Europe. It snowed for us which was fantastic. Geiranger was amazing and the read more fjords well just stunning. Photos don’t do it justice. It’s something you have to go and see for yourself.

We enjoyed this tour along the country roads of Southern Italy and Sicily, with a cohesive group of people from the U.S, Canada and Australia. Our tour guide, Mark, was highly rated, as well as the individual local guides. We transferred to Insight this time over Trafalgar in order to upgrade the position of our hotels to more central locations. We read more were most disappointed with hotels placed a distance far away from central locations. We were expecting a higher standard from Insight.
April/May was a great time to travel through Croatia. The weather was lovely and it was not too busy. We were lucky to have Greg as our guide as he was very knowledgeable and made sure everything ran smoothly. There were many highlights but we especially enjoyed visiting families in their local settings. It gave us a better feel of the real Croatia.

Firstly, worry free time with the booking process through Global Journeys. The tour director Sharon was organised and always helpful. The hotels were all lovely, food delicious, too much to choose from for breakfasts ( yay, no having to do it ourselves) but we had plenty of exercise so that helped with the too much eating!!😆
There was so much to enjoy, read more anyone would be totally happy with it all I’m sure! The time of year was perfect, not so busy with lots of tourists, the weather lovely, just right for us travellers! Perfect to travel with Insight, great to not have to handle our luggage , plenty of space in the comfy bus and the drivers are always courtous and safe drivers. We’ve done 3 separate tours, the UK covering 4 countries. The Bohemian covering 5 countries and Scandinavia covering 4 countries…. All went perfectly!!!

This trip was great thanks to Georgie and Sharon our tour director and our coach driver Tibor. We love going with Insight Vacations, they work everything out so well. Love Cesky Krumlov and Prague. Auschwitz very moving beyond words, bring tissues. Krakow fantastic and the salt mine was definitely a highlight. Everything about this trip I loved.
Trip was magical, so much snow very very pretty. Our tour guide Maria and driver Tomak added to the whole experience. A great bunch of fellow travellers and we saw the lights several times. Highlights are so many. Top of the world at North Cape was incredible. The huskies, the reindeer’s - all beautiful!

Booked through Global journeys for our Insight Vacation Tour and did not disappoint. GJ were so helpful with answering questions and helping get us organised. The tour with Insight was a winter wonderland snapshot. It snowed and the scenery and experiences were magical. The accommodation was excellent. We made friends with other people on the tour. read more Lots of experiences to cherish.
This tour is a great way to see the wonders of ancient Egypt. The Valley of the Kings excursion was a highlight for us, plus the (optional but worth the $$$) trip to Abu SImbel. Cairo and its traffic are chaotic but the Marriott was an excellent respite. Internal flights were OK, but the security setup at airports can be challenging so make sure you read more allow lots of time before departure. Georgie and GJ were very helpful prior to our journey.
As per our last trips with Insight Vacations the East Coast USA was another winner. From the beautiful vistas of Bar Harbour and Arcadia National Park, the charm of Boston, the eye-opening hustle bustle of New York, to the historical places encompassing the majestic Washington DC the trip filled all our expectations. The tour director and coach driver read more met all our expectations built from previous Insight trips, the chosen sites for touring and the included dinner meals locations were both 1st class and iconic. We only had 16 travellers on our trip which made it a delightful personal experience.
This tour of Germany was absolutely delightful. The tour included a great variety of interesting historical sites and quaint, picturesque fairy tale towns. Thought Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Heidelberg were particularly special. The schedule was full as there were so many wonderful places to visit but did not feel rushed. Carl our Travel Director read more was outstanding! Highly professional, responsive, organised, knowledgeable and attentive to our every need. He ensured everything ran smoothly and was clearly explained ahead of time. Johann our driver also did a great job.
On most mornings, we departed the hotel at 8am which was perfect - not too early to wake up and also meant we arrived at the sites before the crowds. Regular and well-timed rest stops were also beneficial. Most hotels were located right in the centre of town so we were able to explore and have dinner in the town without having to worry about catching public transport or a taxi into town. All hotels included a full buffet breakfast. Coach was spacious and had free wifi and sockets to charge our mobile phones. Recommend doing this tour if you want to explore a variety of Germany towns and regions.
