They took care of EVERYTHING!   0 Morocco Kasbahs & Desert , MN, United States, Feb 2026
Global Journeys and Isabella were fantastic! Everything was taken care of from arrival and departure snd everything in between. Isabella had things ready for me well in advance as I was traveling prior. She contacted me with all necessary information prior to, and during, my travel. I will most definitely book with Global Journeys again. High quality read more planning, booking, tours, ans guides.
Morocco in Depth   0 Journeys: Morocco in Depth , AB, Canada, Feb 2026
We would definitely book with Global Journeys again. The response time was amazing and issues were dealt with competently. Early February was a good time to be in Morocco. We could definitely feel the increase in the number of tourists between our two stays in Marrakech - a span of eight days. We enjoyed the cooking and calligraphy classes. We loved read more hearing about the history of Morocco, its culture, and about Islam and Ramadan. People need to be prepared for some long travel days over sometime scary roads in vans that could be more comfortable. Our fellow travellers were a good mix, and there were no issues, even agreeing to allow my tall husband to occupy the middle seat in the back row, the whole trip! Our guide was excellent and our driver very skilled and safe over varying road conditions.
Alaskan Adventure in the Winter 0 Alaska in Winter: Northern Lights & Dog Sledding Adventure , CA, United States, Feb 2026
Incredible trip! I booked 1 week in Alaska and experienced nature hikes along the Alaskan range, guided walk on a glacier, Northern Lights, and dog sledding.
Morocco from North to South 0 Morocco North and South: Mountain Villages and Ancient Kasbahs , TX, United States, Jan 2026
Touring Morocco itself was a wonderful experience and the two guides, Sofia and Rachid were both extraordinary. There were disappointments with some of GAdventures administrative and tour processes. Ours was a "Geluxe" tour yet you had to buy your own water at the included meals is one example. I've been on many tours with various companies and never read more not had water provide during the meals, especially in a country where they tell you not to drink the tap water.
Spectacular views and insightful experiences 0 Journeys: Discover Patagonia , VIC, Australia, Dec 2025
Being a National Geographic Tour, the destinations lived up to expectations with magnificent views and we had a couple of educational lectures combined. Patagonia is a huge space and we covered a lot of distances quickly, thanks to the internal flights. Bus rides could be more spacious and comfortable, but great CEO from G Adventures and mostly very read more good to excellent hotels. Georgie as usual was highly efficient in organising this trip. Global Journeys' online system is an optimum mix of online self-service and available help from real humans for questions when needed. I would use this again.
Make sure you can walk   1 Christmas in Central Europe, Berlin to Vienna , WA, United States, Nov 2025
We did a mother–daughter trip. We can both walk. Some in our group could not, and it really dragged us down. We also can follow simple travel instructions and pivot to make our own plans for side activities and meals; others could not. That said, we had a great time!

Our CEO, Jelena, was great. However, at times we felt that she could have used some read more office support that she could have contacted. We turned a corner to be at a Christmas market that wasn’t there in Berlin. She did a great job of pivoting, knowing some history to tell us, and found a cathedral for us to go in and tour for a moment. She also explained some other monuments that were in the plaza, which was an old site used for Christmas markets but not in 2025.

The small offers that the tour company provided, such as the currywurst, the glüevine, and lebkuchen, seemed to be more difficult with the budget allowed by the tour company than it really needed to be. For instance, people were given too many options: what was in the budget, or add more money, or pay for the deposit on the mugs and get it back if you want, or keep it if you want. It just seemed very confusing for so many people at once. It would have been nice if it had been arranged that we went to a specific booth for each of those items. Maybe G Adventures is able to look into contracting that in the future. Or making a specific reservation for the cakes and coffee in Vienna. Or working it out ahead of time with the restaurant on the meet-up day for a set meal that’s within the budget, so everybody can get a little bit without having to go over budget, get confused, and feel off-put on our first dinner together.

We loved the Christmas markets. We loved the time that we spent. We loved the bit of history that we learned through our CEO. We know that it was one of the first Christmas market tours of the year, and we definitely felt some hiccups, but we had a good group of people that really tried to make the best of it.

I would recommend this tour for anyone in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s. My mom was fine in her 70s, but others younger were not. I don’t want to sound bad, but if you walk with a cane, a walking tour is probably not the tour group that’s best for you. That’s the experience that 17 people had to endure on our tour. They would have to be able to walk multiple miles and deal with their luggage themselves, because one slow person affects 17 other people, and that really isn’t fair for the 17.

We knew we were going to be staying at smaller places, and they were great and had different personalities. Although the one in Salzburg should probably be looked at for the smell in the restroom, on the flip side that smell made us get out of the room nice and early to find the Thursday market in Salzburg, which was an amazing find and one of the highlights of our trip.

The accommodations were okay. I would give them about two stars at best. Berlin was a little bit better. But for single women traveling, places with a whole lot of graffiti or a strip club across the street were not exactly the safest feeling, and I don’t know if that was actually planned. But it’s how it was, and we did try to travel in groups because of that. There were some very high points and some very “this could be done a little bit better with just a little bit of effort” points as well.
I loved every moment. 1 Japan Express – Osaka to Tokyo , NSW, Australia, Nov 2025
Wonderful tour. Japanese 'CEO' was so kind and well organized. She made sure we had a great variety of experiences in and outside of the cities. I loved every moment of my tour.
GAdventures- Discover Japan Nov 7-20   2 Discover Japan , ON, Canada, Nov 2025
This was our 5th trip with G Adventures and it did not disappoint. The CEO, Toshio, was outstanding in his knowledge, organization, kindness and generosity. He even guided us around during free time ! I used Global Journeys to book the trip because they quoted a better price than GAdventures. Melissa made the booking easy and made sure I received read more my GAdventures credit and also that we could use our rail pass on the last day for our transfer to the airport. We used Zipair for our flight and had no problem using a no-frills company to save on our flight costs. Accomodation was as expected with only 2 nights with shared washrooms. Seniors might have difficulty with beds on the floor.

Time of year was perfect for us as we don’t like heat, Temperature ranged from 10-20 C with the cooler days being in the mountains. There was only 1 day of rain and it was light. We had a nice mix of fellow travellers from 4 different countries and an age range of 35- 80 yrs. A couple of people in the group brought way too much luggage and relied on others for help. We walked 17,000- 20,000 steps a day so you must be fit enough do this as well as carry your own luggage. The itinerary was ideal for first time visitors and we didn’t feel rushed.
Soloish travel through Italy 0 Solo-ish Italy , MN, United States, Oct 2025
The soloish trip to Italy was the best trip I have taken. Having a group of solo travelers patriciate in a pasta making class the first night was an excellent bonding moment. I had such a good time, our CEO was outstanding and I have made lifelong friends. I will definitely travel with G adventures again.
Loved Normandy... 0 Journeys: Paris & Normandy Highlights , WA, Australia, Oct 2025
The group was an excellent size, lovely guide and bus driver. Plenty of time at each stop, and Meghan our guide was very thorough in both informing us and setting us on our way for our free time slots. Hotels okay, but the Relais hotel in Parisshould not be allowed to let room 111. It is not up to standard. and actually, most depressing to be in. All in all a great trip.
Galapagos Adventure: Snorkelling & Sea Lions 1 Galápagos Adventure: Snorkelling & Sea Lions , NC, United States, Sep 2025
The tours and activities were great! Really enjoyed our leader. Felt like he was very knowledgeable and he was very personable. One complaint-breakfasts were way too small. Nina from Global Journeys was extremely helpful. Especially since I made arrangements kind of last minute.
Great sites, poor accommodation   1 Canadian Rockies Eastbound Express , WA, Australia, Sep 2025
Global Journeys were very good to deal with. The G Adventures tour major fault was poor accommodation. Too many group dinners, late afternoon arrivals & no time to see sights in overnight stops. You spent all day in the bus, stopping to kill time at unnecessary sites then not arriving until after 5.30pm. Guide/ driver was excellent.
Amazing trip to an Incredible country.   1 Solo-ish Vietnam , QLD, Australia, Sep 2025
This was my first solo trip away and I was absolutley filled with nerves about it. With my first flight being delayed, causing me to miss my connecting fllight, I had to call Kim(my tour guide). From the first contact she set my mind at ease. She showed a calm and organised side that I really needed at that time. The rest of the trip was easy with minimal read more disrutpions purely because of the work Kim was doing in the background. Kim is an absolute superstar and an asset to G Adventures.

Vietnam itself had been on my bucket list for a few years, and this trip was the perfect way to ease myself into it. Although I soon realised that I will be going back again to explore more at a later date. In saying that, I knew the itinerary going in and it was plenty detailed and included lots of different things to see. Some of my highlights included learning to shop for fresh ingredients in the local markets from accomplished chef Trung, and then learning to cook local dishes in his restaurant, or getting to witness the phenomanal work being done at Oodles of Noodles with tthe orphans and under privilaged students. Spending a night in Hai Long Bay was a special peaceful experience.

Meeting a new group of people is always a challenging thing for me and I'm pleased to say that after my trip, I'd happily tour with any of them again. Obviously some more than others but I didn't have any issue with annyone on the trip. Being an older member of the group didn't mean anything and some of my best memories were made with those a lot younger than me.

Dealing with Global Journeys, especially Tracey was a pleasure from day 1. She was prompt to reply to all my questions and always provided me with more information than I asked for. I would definately recommend Global Journeys to all of my friends and family that are looking to travel the world. I will absolutely be traveling with Global again.
Adventures in Turkey   1 Absolute Turkey , ACT, Australia, Sep 2025
G Adventures certainly fulfilled a lot of places on our bucket list, hot air ballooning Cappadocia, cascade pools at Pamukkale, Anzac cove to name just a few. It was non stop, lots of walking, and not a lot of downtime. All in all It was good value and our guide was very knowledgeable. Home stay was fantastic, there were five bedrooms, and 15 guests, read more the food was very very good, only downside was no showering, but two toilets 1 western and one squat. Plenty of comfort stops about every 1.5-2 hrs. Hotels were Ok usually small rooms, some did not have a lift.

The bus, was a Mercedes Benz Sprinter, with 15 seats and fifteen passengers, it was a very tight fit, the seats were not terribly comfortable, my advice is take a small thin cushion. Would we do it again, maybe/maybe not, these were our own personal thoughts nothing to do with the company, just our own take on an organised tour. We thought it was very good value for the price we paid. Would have preferred a more comfortable ride.
SPAM (Spain Portugal and Morocco) 0 Spain, Portugal, and Morocco Adventure , QLD, Australia, Sep 2025
A truly well organised tour with great various transport and adequate accommodation where the hotels were for 2 nights in all major cities and always in a great location . The CEO’s(guides) are so knowledgeable and know where the best of food and shopping is - at reasonable prices. Striking sights to boot! We were impressed.
Active Japan 0 Active Japan: Kyoto & Okinawa Island Hopping , VIC, Australia, Jul 2025
Was a good taste of some of Japan for our first visit. Was not as active as I was expecting but was a nice trip. The tour could do with some adjustments as there was some disappointments in the activities planned. Our tour guide was great, so friendly, social & helped us really experience some of Japan's cuisine & went above & beyond to provide advice when asked.
Rome to Barcelona Tour 0 Mediterranean Express: Rivieras & Railroads , NSW, Australia, Jul 2025
Fairly fast paced wish we had more time in some places but overall a good length to see and experience enough of nice summer spots in Europe. Accomodations were clean 2 were too small for 6 girls in 1 room. Guide was very open and communicative and easy way to not stress about making your own travel arrangements.
Fascinating sailing trip in Dalmatia and Montenegro   1 Montenegro & Croatia Sailing , BC, Canada, Jun 2025
Wonderful crew of diverse folks, great skipper, perfect weather, unique experiences on the sea and land. I highly recommend Global Journeys and would use them again!
Morocco is Magnificent! 0 Highlights of Morocco , NSW, Australia, Jun 2025
We have just finished our two-week 'Highlights of Morocco tour with G Adventures and it was excellent. Our small group of eight was in the best of hands with Abdel our guide and Ismail our driver. The mini bus was air-conditioned and comfortable. The tour included many little extras off the normal tourist trail such as meals in family homes and visits read more to women's co-operatives. The accommodation was good and the food was wonderful. We all came home eager to try and replicate some of the new dishes we were given.
Excellent overview of a fascinating country 1 Absolute Turkey , QLD, Australia, May 2025
We loved the tour run by G Adventures. Very pleased we did the 2 week tour rather than a shorter tour as there is so much to see and experience. Accommodation was modest but safe and adequate, transportation in a dedicated minibus was excellent. As on other G Adventures tours, the other participants were very compatible from a range of nationalities. read more We were thrilled with the tour and commend it to others.
