Booking on line with Global Journeys has been easy and very efficient, thanks to Tracey Standing helping us at every step of the procedure. The travel with AAT Kings has been enjoyable and well organized, inlcuded the comfort of the bus and the management of the bags, trhanks to the Travel Director Hope Horsley and the bus driver David. Lovely travellers. read more Good accomodations. Perhaps desirable some more stops to admire the scenery. We have appreciated vey much the option activities offered. We recommend the journey without any doubt.
I have done many bus tours in Australia and this was one of the best. I have also visited SA many times but had not spent a lot of time on the Eyre Peninsula. The, scenery, the places we visited, the experiences from Murphy's Haystack to visiting oyster farms, to having mouth watering food, were simply the best. The accommodation was good, the particular read more stand out was the hotel at Port Lincoln located on the waterfront. Liz our Tour Director was very professional in her management and organisational, along with her enthusiasm for the country side. Anthony the coach driver was as good as they come, there were no uneasy moments. Kings always do a great job. Well done.

This was an incredible trip, a trip of a lifetime. It was a great time of year to go, leaving Darwin on 12 August 2025. We were lucky to have a very experienced Tour Manager as our guide the whole way. Carolyn was very familiar with the entire area, and knew many of the local guides and hotel managers personally. This was helpful for our optional trips. read more Our coach driver, Macca, was excellent. He washed the coach every day and kept our windows clean for great viewing from the coach. Everyone on this trip got on well with each other and we felt like a big family, helping each other if needed. The accommodations were excellent (even in remote areas), and the food delicious. Group dinners, when provided, were delicious and we could select from a few options for each course. Carolyn also made sure that those with special dietary needs were catered for each day. I was lucky to have Grace as my travel advisor at Global Journeys, and she kept on top of my bookings and transfers. It was a pleasure to work with her. Other travel agencies could not get me the AAT Kings discounts (like being a previous traveler with AAT Kings), so luckily I found Grace and she got them for me!
The tour was organised exceptionally well, I had a fantastic time. Thank you Georgie for all your help, you made it stress free. Loved the trip. A bit rushed. Too many early mornings and long days. Great way to see Central Australia. Coach driver and travel director were great, very knowledgeable. Thanks again Georgie.
Both tour guide and driver were great. Tour guide had great knowledge of everywhere we went. We saw amazing country and the billabong cruise was are highlight. The culture experiences were very interesting. The days were packed and a few of the walks were a bit difficult for some on the tour.
I began by consulting various travel agents, and Global Journeys emerged as the most exceptional choice. From the very beginning to the very end, my entire travel experience was flawless. The hotels, coach, coach driver, and tour guide exceeded all my expectations.
Feed back from the family I booked this trip for was the entire trip was absolutely wonderful and was well managed exceeding all expectations. Accommodation and food was great. Highly recommended !!!
Chose this tour specifically for Floriade but was so much more. Our driver/director was marvelous. Really enjoyed this short break to Canberra and surrounds. Great accomodation in great location. Have done a few trips with AAT Kings now and would recommend. Georgie from Global Journeys was helpful as ever.
The trip was very well organised with some many and varied places to see that we never heard of. Lots of kms - 4,831 but we had many of stops and in house commentary and documentaries by tour leader Carolyn - she really knew her stuff and has a sense of humor. Coach driver Rhys was a great asset and lots of fun. Could not fault the whole trip - accommodation read more was very good, some better than others considering some motels were mainly used for workers - we were comfortable at all times. Meals that were supplied were very good - would recommend this trip to anyone - and we are in our 70's! Hannah did a great job in organising the tour and was always there to answer initial questions - thank you!
Carolyn is excellent host with a wealth of knowledge who makes everyone comfortable yet brings home reality of Australia history. She entertained us with information and data on places and people. Carolyn is an excellent “people person’ and credit to the company. We especially appreciated birthday acknowledgement. One suggestion for future is Busselton read more jetty - would be good to do train on the jetty, or have enough time to take it.
Wow..what a great trip we have just enjoyed with AAT Kings, thanks to Hannah and her colleagues at Global Journeys. We met some wonderful people and were in the capable hands of two lovely young ladies..Anna and Ash. Too many highlights to mention, but on a very personal level, travelling along the Stuart Highway past the stations our son worked on read more as a teenager in 1998 comes to mind. Thanks for all your help. The trip of a lifetime.
Loved the trip. A bit rushed. Too many early mornings and long days. Would love it if it was more spread out. The accommodation was excellent. Food and drinks were great. Fellow travellers were exceptionally friendly. NT is one place you must see. We went from 16 deg to 35 deg. Tour director and bus driver kept everyone upbeat with funny ditties and read more jokes. Yes - I would recommend AAT Kings.
Itinerary was good. Accommodations and included meals were good. We had a knowledgeable tour director and a safe driver. This trip covered two UNESCO sites namely Kakadu National Park and Uluru National Park. I enjoyed the Field of Lights and the natural wonder of sunrise over Uluru.
Fabulous trip only 1 hotel was issue at Tenant Creek, but trip was amazing, our tour guide Dave was amazing, his knowledge and nothing ever to much trouble for him, Fabulous guy, and our bus driver Mac, kept us safe with his skill of driving, and his jokes. One of our best trips,
I had a wonderful time travelling with a lovely bunch of people on this AAT Kings tour of the South Island of New Zealand. Most of the accommodation was wonderful and the included dinners were great. Our tour director and driver were fantastic. The only drawbacks were that the front page showing the itinerary with scenic stops was misleading as it read more was showing that Mt Cook was a sightseeing stop which never happened as whoever drew the route to Mt Cook was incorrect and would have had to get there from Omarama. Also we were only given 30 minutes to walk there and back to see Franz Joseph Glacier. I did not enjoy the train journey and when embarking we did not get time to look at the station. Overall it was a great tour but more time for the essential sightseeing stops would have been great. I also enjoyed the extra optional tours on offer such as The Glenorchy Lord of the rings tour and the Kiwi Bird Park.
My Tasmania Icons bus trip was just excellent. Visited places on my bucket list, plus more. Guide Carolyn Tipper has so much local knowledge as she lives in the state! Met some very nice travelling friends and plan to catch up in the future. Climate was great, humans can' t control that, Carolyn said March was a good time to visit, agree. Accommodation read more was beautiful, clean & well presented. Staff working at reception, restaurants very helpful & friendly.
Loved the NZ experience. This Marvel tour includes lengthy periods of coach travel that I found more difficult than I expected. You are not provided with a detailed itinerary. Our stop at Arrowtown was for 30 minutes, 10 of those queued for the toilet. I had made a couple of bookings (one non transferable ) in Queenstown. The day before we were told read more of change of schedule. So free time is at their discretion. Other free time works around their optional experiences. Excellent driver with intelligent commentary. Tour director was hard to understand at times and talked to much about herself. We were given a one bed room in Auckland despite all other nights were twin ( as per booking ). Consider the additional costs of the optional recommended gratuity that you are reminded about.
Enjoyed the trip. The planning with Georgie was easy. Our travel director and driver were excellent - the commentary gave so much detail about the history of Tasmania and the trip allowed enough time to explore the places we stopped in. I always felt very safe with our driver at the wheel even over the steepest, winding roads. My only complaint was read more that not enough spaces were allowed on the night animal spotting tour so most of us missed out.
Maisie from Global Journeys made this trip possible in a very short time as I couldn't finalise things with the Operator quickly. This tour is great if you want a quick glance at all top spots of South island so that you can plan an extensive trip later to spots you liked.
