A big thank you to Global Journeys and Tracey for organising our Trafalgar tour in Japan. The tour was excellent. It fully met our expectations in every regard. Tracey was fantastic, especially rebooking our flights after one leg of our return journey was cancelled due to the Middle East conflict.
Good geographic coverage but some disappointments. 0Best of FranceSandra, VIC, Australia, May 2026
This is a whirlwind tour, designed to allow you to get around France in 2 weeks. The guide was not the best. The hotels were good but not always well located. The included dinners served i edible rubber chicken, with the exception of the wonderful farewell dinner in Paris. This tour has many optional tours that are costly. If this is Trafalgur's new read more business model I will in future prefer Globus which offers more inclusions and a transparent offering.
Some of the hotels were certainly not as good as we thought they should be. There were several extra excursions and this were done during the day. I think they should be at night and use the day to show the people around. We were also dropped off at the city centre and given 2-3 to shop when we should have been taken to see sights. It was disappointing.
14 Day Trafalgar Tour of Ireland 0Amazing IrelandPam and Greg, NSW, Australia, May 2026
Absolutely no complaints with our fabulous Trafalgar 14-day tour of Ireland. Staying two nights at each accommodation stop provided added comfort to what was still a busy schedule. Grace at Global Journeys her expertly made our bookings, was always readily available, and I recommend this travel company.
Hannah was perfect, help everywhere, nothing was any trouble. 10 out of 10 I would recommend her to any other traveller.
It was a good trip, just one thing, in Rome we ended up walking over 12 km kms, that really was a couple of kms too far, especially in the heat. Also, the male local guide made us walk back to the bus from the collaseum in a read more hurry, in the heat, and we were not allowed to stop for 2 minutes. Not a nice man and waisted too much time on boring stuff so we missed out on a close look down stairs at the Colosseum.
We booked our Highlights of Turkey Tour, and Best of Greece Cruise through Grace from the instant week made the initial enquiry through to questions we had on a Cruise, Grace was professional always replied within a few hours, and she always checked in that we understood the answers etc. to our questions.
We have travelled with Trafalgar before read more and was the main reason for booking the Highlights of Turkey tour and it did not let us down, our tour director Tolga was amazing and so was the tour, sometimes very fast paced with early mornings and late nights but that's all part of travel. Highlights for us was Cappadocia it was like being on a different planet truly amazing. Gallipoli was also a highlight to see Anzac Cove and be able to walk along the beach a wonderful and sobering experience.
Best of Turkey 0Best of TurkeyPaul and Debbie, SA, Australia, Apr 2026
Wow what an experience. It was so easy to find a tour and book with Tracey through the Global Journey's website. We chose the Best of Turkey with Trafalgar Tours because of the itinerary. It seemed to cover most of eastern Turkey with a couple of 2 night stays here and there to slow the pace. Then the war happened.... Tracey was great in helping to read more find solutions to the air travel that we had booked and so glad we went. Our Tour Director Daghan was one of the best.....not only the extensive history but myths, local knowledge and recommendations. Would definitely book with Global Journeys and Trafalgar again.
Great Best of Germany tour! 0Best of GermanySonja and Kimberly, KS, United States, Mar 2026
Though I had traveled to Germany several times previously, this was the first time ever going with a tour group so I had no idea what to expect. It was the first time for my daughter to visit Germany and I was hoping it would be a good experience for her. I am happy to report that it was a great experience from the moment I booked the trip until we read more returned home.
Candice at Global Journeys was easy to work with and responded to all of my numerous emails promptly. The Trafalgar tour was well planned, giving us the right amount of time for group activities, optional experiences, as well as sightseeing or shopping on our own. Our coach driver, Tyson, and tour director, Justine were top-notch. Professional yet personable. I would highly recommend them and would someday love to be on another tour with them!
I really enjoyed the Trafalgar itinerary, all the experiences were excellent. My highlight was going into the country and learning about people’s culture. My only tip is the couple of nights dinner is not provided, do some research on the coach as your travelling to where you’d like to go to dinner and book. Fellow travellers were a good mix of people, read more all were friendly and polite. Global Journeys was very good and helpful, Hanna always got back to us promptly. Accomodation was excellent as well as location. It was a good time to travel but if you want to see the Cherry Blossoms in full bloom go in April or May as February they were just coming into bloom.
This tour was an excellent introduction to the special features of Japan: its history, culture, contemporary developments and aesthetic achievements. Well chosen events and locations meant we were introduced to Shinto and Buddhist traditions, technological advances, sushi making, traditional paper making, types of saki, and a wide range of geographical read more features from Mount Fuji-san to traditional gardens and samurai temples. Tokyo and Kyoto were focal points, but we also travelled through the Japanese mountains entering an amazing complex of roads and tunnels through steep terrain, tree-covered hillsides and cultural heritage sites.
Our tour guide, Mr Arch provided a continual commentary of interesting background and explanation. Mr Arch was extremely professional and courteous always ensuring all guests had the opportunity to really enjoy the Spendors of Japan. Mr Arch is an excellent representative of the Trafalgar brand in Japan and he really did go above and beyond to make this tour a success. Thank you Mr Arch for an outstanding job. There were numerous high points and no lows. Finally,a big thanks to Hannah for organising this trip and I look forward to many more adventures with Global Journeys.
The trip was fabulous, the cities explored were so imperial and impressive. Our Tour Director Agnes was wonderful, she knew everything about all the cities and places of where to go in your spare time. She was also thoughtful and attentive to all the travellers. Highly recommend Trafalgar and Global Journeys for an amazing adventure. Hotels were excellent.
Central Europe a majestic experience 0Bohemian HighlightsVivianne, NSW, Australia, Dec 2025
Central Europe is a majestic experience, grand castles, impressive architecture, delicious food, beautiful streets and parks. Our Tour Director Kate was superb, incredibly knowledgeable on the country's history, food, politics and customs.
You get what you signed up for - loads of unvarying Xmas markets! The wares are the same whether it is Vienna, Munich, Salzburg, Innsbruck or Lucerne with minor price diff. The Euro Xmas traditions & stories are interesting. Glugwein mugs are fun to collect. Itinerary is great & good weather definitely helps. You will get more fog than snow due to unseasonably read more warm winter frm mid to late Dec 2025. Optional experiences are grear - be prepared for extra €600. Great timing & organisation to avoid crowds but Tour Director rather blase & not informative. Included meals went downhill after the start at Vienna with mediocre welcome dinner & venue. Accom is central & not bad. Overall- pretty good 7 days tour but counting the last day which is just drop off at airport at Zurich is diabolically misleading!
The accommodations, bus and food were great as a starting point. Our tour director was so knowledgeable, informative and personable as well as making sure everything was the best it could possibly be and everyone was cared for. And the places we visited were iconic, with good local guides providing insight , it was a very fulfilling and memorable experience. read more Visiting off season was perfect. The weather was still good and the crowds were down. Seeing the Parthenon, Olympia and Delphi were peak experiences. A beautiful country with wonderful people and great food.
Enjoyable tour 1Splendours of JapanSandra and Clem, NSW, Australia, Nov 2025
We enjoyed seeing the sights, culture, countryside, gardens and much more of Japan. The first and last hotels on the tour were great….our tour guide was fabulous and very knowledgeable, plus went out of her way to give us Japanese treats, local tips and always making sure we all had fun and enjoyed our Japanese experience. We would recommend seeing read more Japan and touring with Trafalgar.
One of a kind experience! 0Best of MoroccoFerdi and Virginia, NSW, Australia, Oct 2025
Our first time in Morocco and we enjoyed its diverse landscapes. The itinerary gave us everything we hoped to explore - from the busy city of Casablanca and the coastal charm of Rabat, to the medieval streets of Fes, the Sahara Desert in Merzouga, Dades Valley, bus rides through the Atlas Mountains and the laid back vibe of Essaouira. Every stop is read more different. We enjoyed everything we've experienced, tummy troubles included.
This tour was made more enjoyable and memorable with a genial , energetic and fantastic tour director, Nicky Dvorak and excellent Coach driver Kevin. We learned so much about the historical and traditional knowledge of the places we visited as expounded so well by Nicky.
Great National Parks Tour 0Scenic Parks ExplorerMarilyn and Paul, NSW, Australia, Sep 2025
This 14 day tour involved a lot of travel time and we saw so many great places. My favourite place was Yellowstone National Park. We thank Jon our Tour Director and Ron our Driver for making a big trip so very easy. Grace from Global Journeys was also very efficient making our booking, with special requests and keeping us informed of any changes to our itinerary.
Everything about our trip was absolutely wonderful! From the easy booking with Nina to the expert tour guidance from Kylee to the more than capable driving skills of Paulo, it was all excellent. Hotels were amazingly clean and quiet. I would definitely book with Trafalgar again!
Stunning towns and wonderful architecture. Accommodation was okay however a few of the hotels were located way out of the town centre. The optional meals were really disappointing and having to pay extra for city tours seems unreasonable. Travelled in September thinking that this would mean less crowds but this was not the case. Also, a full bus makes read more the trip difficult with no room to spread out and longer comfort stops. Again, Grace, from Global Journeys was really helpful in the booking our two trips.
