Trip was fantastic,tour director the best i had in my life, driver excelent. Only negative things are about hotels - most hotels no safety rails in a bathroom and the locations of same hotels not convinient for travelers who has only 1 hour or so to get to center of the city.
This is such a great Trafalgar tour. It enabled us to see and experience the best of the UK and Ireland in a short period of time. Our tour guide Nicky was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed this experience and would recommend it to friends.
This was a great tour which covered a variety of National Parks in eight US States. Spectacular scenery and interesting historical sites made for a memorable experience. The Trafalgar Tour Director was well organised and knowledgeable and there were no negative aspects to the tour. Hannah from Global Journeys was as efficient as ever, making the booking read more process streamlined and simple.
We enjoyed our tour with 25 passengers only-so plenty of room to spread out when on the tour bus. Our travel companions were like minded and the group meshed well from the beginning. Our tour director was young and enthusiastic about her home country. Our driver was thorough and helpful. We did notice however - that the little extras we've enjoyed on read more previous tours have been cut back. Meaning fewer excursions were included-more are now paid options. Simple things like no water provided on tour and hotels have cut right back on their starter kits etc and offer nasty disposable cups to use. This all came as a bit of a surprise and def lowers the overall rating score for us.
It was the most wonderful holiday. France was just lovely being summer I just love the heat and every day was full of fabulous scenery, wonderful little villages, especially loved the cobblestone streets and alley ways. Mark the Tour Director was fabulous nothing was too much trouble for him and Nic the driver got the coach into places that were very read more small but he managed it. Overall it was just fantastic.
Thank you Kaitlyn for everything. Our vacation was wonderful. Trafalgar was great. Out tour guide was fabulous. I can’t imagine anything any better. Thank you for all your help!

Very well managed, fast paced tour, but enjoyable. Too much to see in a short time, but tour director was excellent and made it very enjoyable.
Best of France was a wonderful trip. Our TD was Bruno who was excellent, which made our journey relaxed and fun. Our driver Jordan was very friendly and exceptionally skill full in his driving. The group we were travelling with was of mixed ages and we all got along and had fun together. Special thanks to Tracey at Global Journeys who handled our booking read more and was always available to answer our questions.
I enjoyed the Spanish Wonder tour of Spain. There were many highlights packed into a few days, but all were memorable. Madrid, Toledo, Cordoba, Granada, Seville and Barcelona were magnificent, however, visiting in June it was warm to hot, and there was substantial walking involved if one wanted to see as much as possible. In Seville I walked 32 km, read more partly because I became lost in the evening. It helps if you speak Spanish. Our coach comprised 2/3 of those with Hispanic backgrounds living in the US so they had no problems in directions. I found an important new word: Aseos, which is toilet. This was not the word for toilet that was used when I was last there.
The only issues I had was that there were 52 passengers in a coach with 53 seats, and there was a lot of repetition of what the tour director and driver were to be paid as tips. Perhaps the US passengers accepted that, but I found it annoying. Overall, I would re-do that tour again anytime, but with a smaller group, if possible. Hannah from Global Journeys was excellent in organising the booking and supplying information about the tour plans.

I was happy with everything. I would use Trafalgar Tours and Global Journeys again. My travel agent for this trip was Sam Harris and I was extremely satisfied with his service.
Loved our Trafalgar experience. Good Hotels, good Coach & Driver, Good tour guide. They know where to take you, when to take you and how to best get you in. Nothing is too much trouble. Hannah did an excellent job organizing our finer details for us.

Our Britain and Ireland Grandeur tour was fantastic. The tour guide was the best we've ever had. He was friendly, approachable, helpful, very well organised and had a very good knowledge of all the many places we visited as well as the history of the local area. The driver was fantastic too as she was friendly, helpful, safe and very capable She read more had a good relationship with the tour director and all of the local specialists that came along, taking us to many places that were pretty challenging to drive a coach. The local specialists were all very good too and gave interesting insights into their local area. Even though the tour was fast paced there was always enough time to look around the places we visited, have a coffee or a meal, do a bit of shopping or have a chat with the locals as well as visit the rest rooms. The optional experiences were all worthwhile and added greatly to the overall experience. We have no hesitation in recommending this tour to anyone who wants to get a good overview of the UK and Ireland.
Our Trafalgar Greek Island Hopper tour was great. The history of Athens and the islands is fascinating and the scenery of the islands was spectacular. The accommodation was good and the local specialists were great, especially for the tour of Megalochori, the bronze age archaeological site on Santorini. Having to drag our own suitcases on and off read more the island ferries was a bit of a surprise for us on a Trafalger tour, but our tour director guided us through that process well. The biggest disappointment was the number of optional experiences that didn't go ahead.
Of the ten optional experiences advertised in the Trafalgar brochure only three actually occurred. While some were cancelled due to weather, which is understandable, or were cancelled due to lack of numbers, still others were simply not on the list when we arrived in Athens. While our tour director arranged for us to go to dinner at a restaurant instead of a couple of the optional experiences, we did not get to experience any traditional Greek music or dancing as we had hoped. Despite this we still had a great time, with a lovely mix of people on the tour and plenty of time to see the sights, do shopping, eat out, meet the locals and get a feel for the places we visited.

This was my 4th Trafalgar tour and my 2nd booked through Global Journeys. I was not disappointed and highly recommend both. Spain was spectacular and each day was as exciting as the previous one. It is a country that just keeps on giving, from palaces to little markets. Spanish Wonders is a fast paced tour if you do all of the optional tours, however read more I would have missed some unforgettable sights and sites if I had not chosen the extras.
We mostly enjoyed our Trafalgar Best of Switzerland tour. We had a great guide, Rob, and saw everything we set out to see. Unfortunately our hotel in Zermat was a big let down. The original itinerary had us staying “in town” at Mirabeau Hotel… which would have been great location wise. Instead we found ourselves at the Hotel Hemizeus. Hotel Hemizeus read more is a long way out from the main shopping area… so no restaurants. Also no footpath, and taxis are very expensive in Zermat.

Our tour was very well organized. Our tour guide and bus driver were excellent. The group were very good which made for a great holiday. We enjoyed all the beautiful places we visited - a couple of long days on the coach that were expected but our guide broke them up with visits to small towns and comfort stops. All in all, a fabulous holiday.
Enjoyed the overall trip Tour Guide Danilo was great…found it very full on with some days lots of time on the coach. Disappointed with meals included in price by Trafalgar and found Optional Extras very expensive with Australian dollar rate. Still had good time and met great people but also think Trafalgar should organise something for those not doing read more the Optional Extras (in the day) rather than just "free time".
Travelling with Trafalgar through Europe was amazing. We saw so many cities, icons, monuments and stunning views.
From the driver to the Travel Director, everything was carefully thought out and we had plenty of free time thrown in.
All of the hotels we stayed at were fabulous, comfortable beds and great hospitality. Highly recommend Trafalgar, can’t w read moreait to plan my next trip!
