We loved both cruises with Scenic: Normandy & Gems of the Seine plus Spectacular South of France. Tracey Standing from Global Joirneys was very helpful and efficient in organising this Scenic package and always ready to answer any questions we had or information we needed to know. There was a great collection of people on each cruise from the U.K., read more USA, Canadians, New Zealanders and Australians. The food was magnificent, the wine and other drinks flowed, the Excursions all enjoyable and the entertainment on board was wonderful. I would highly recommend both these cruises, especially together, to anyone considering river cruising in France.
The trip was everything the advertised and more. Staff was excellent, room as advertised and food and beverage service was excellent. Rita is Celiac and they took great care of her. Absolutely no complaints.

Travelling with Scenic is always very well organized and worry free. Their attention to detail insures there are plenty of options for land excursions to suit all ages and different abilities. Whenever possible or weather permits Scenic will offer additional things to the program, like helicopter flights, paddle boarding or kayaking. The food is always read more amazing with an extensive wine list and the staff are wonderful.

We really enjoyed this cruise and also the land leg in Switzerland. We went to some beautiful places and were totally spoilt by the cruise staff. The available options for sightseeing were really good. The meals and all accommodation was first class. Thanks also to Grace for handling our booking so efficiently.
The highlight of the tour was Viviers where our tour guide took us to her hour which wad used as a Resistance house during WW2.

A big thank you to Georgie for, once again, her exceptional management of our booking. This is our fourth journey booked through Global Journeys and each time their service has been first class. Our Scenic Tour to Japan was beyond our expectations. The majority of our accommodation was superb, the meals were unbelievable and our tour director, Yumi, read more was very enthusiastic, well organised, informative and caring. The itinerary offered a good variety of sightseeing and activities at a moderate pace. Highly recommended.
Scenic provided excellent service and made you feel like a big family. This itinerary was excellent beautiful views along the Moselle River and the best of the Rhine. Included excursions were top notch.

This Scenic river cruise "Eastern Europe & Balkans Unveiled with Transylvania" was fantastic .... the meals and staff were wonderful, would recommend it to anyone.
We also really enjoyed the 4 night extension bus journey around Transylvania.
Hannah from Global Journeys organized everything, so friendly and easy to talk too, was a pleasure booking with her.

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. It was very well plan. Food and excursion are first class. We are very happy with Scenic and also the service of Georgina and Global Journeys.
We loved our trip! Easy from start to finish thanks to Tracey at Global Journeys. The Scenic team were amazing - the tours, food, beverages & service was all top class. Totally recommend this holiday - however maybe a week or two later for better weather!

We had a wonderful time cruising around New Zealand on Scenic Eclipse 2. The staff and service were excellent, and the food in all the restaurants was very good. Captain Torry Sakkariassen was brilliant and very accommodating with his time. He was very happy to welcome and talk to all guests on the Bridge. We booked this cruise very late after it had read more been booked out and someone cancelled. We got Suite 702 which sits on its own next to the Bridge. We did wonder if it might be noisy with all the activity around the Bridge, but it was completely silent. We also thought it was slightly larger than the average Deluxe Veranda Suite. We would definitely book this suite again. The cruise ran seamlessly with smooth sailing other than a couple of rough nights sailing around the bottom of the South Island. Definitely take your sea sickness medication for this area. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this cruise, and we will definitely cruise on Scenic Eclipse 2 again.

Our booking with Hannah at Global Journeys was seamless. There isn't a single thing I would've changed on our Danube Cruise with Scenic Waterways. We felt spoilt from the first day until the last. Just the right amount of free time and the tours were very good. We cruised in December & it was Christmas Market magic.
Hannah Campbell handled our enquiries very well as always. We are delighted that we are able to communicate with her whenever we need answers. We joined this trip with friends who were marking a significant date in their lives. Sadly one of them got very ill throughout and fortunately made it back to a hospital in his home town. As usual the ship was read more magnificent but the visits to Solomon Islands and Vanuatu islands were very much the same and the journey back from Fiji to Perth via plane changes in Sydney made it an exhausting end covering from 5am Friday Perth time to 02.am Perth time on Saturday. We would not contemplate a cruise of that nature again. However we will be looking forward to the other trips which we have arranged for the next year or so. The overall rating below relates only to the time at sea, the quality of the visits and the travel time to get home.
I enjoyed our voyage up tte Mekong River in October (25th onwards). The weather was perfect, the Scenic boat sensational and we had no hints of issues. I really have nothing to say as everything was perfect.
We loved everything about this wonderful cruise on the Douro River in Portugal with Scenic. The ship was beautiful, the staff were all so happy and couldn't do enough for us and the food was amazing. I loved that with Scenic, everything was included and that we didn't have to pay for anything else once on the ship. It was so nice to be away from read more large cities, visiting the little villages and towns along the river. Thank you once again Tracey, for your help in organising our lovely holiday. As usual, you were a great help and was always so prompt at returning my calls or answering my emails.

The ship was lovely - good well sized cabins with excellent food and service. The cruise description implied there would be many excellent snorkelling opportunities but in 2 weeks there were only 3 or 4 such outings. The Scenic administration (pre-cruise) can only be described as totally useless (many other passengers expressed the same view to us) read more - e-mails and phone calls were never answered - totally incorrect and confusing information on the requirements for an Indonesian visa were provided. Our agent at Global Journeys, Tracey, did a great job of trying to follow up with Scenic.

We really enjoyed our ocean cruise (Norway to Portugal: The History and Traditions of Europe) and our river cruise (Normandy and Gems of the Seine)... both by Scenic. Booking again with Hannah ensured that everything went like clockwork...from the time we left home till we got back. We cannot speak highly enough of the prompt service we always receive read more from Hannah and Global Journeys. We have also found that Global Journeys prices are competitive and they will go out of their way to meet your needs. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a perfectly organised holiday. Regarding Scenic...everything is included in their packages, making for a stress free vacation. The Scenic staff cannot do enough for you...and the food and drinks are always A+. If you do the Normandy river cruise, look out for any tours conducted by Ben Bailie. He is just fantastic!

We joined the Scenic Amber cruise in Munich and travelled to Budapest in August 2025. The cruise was fully booked, but it never seemed crowded. The majority of the passengers were Americans, plus Brits, Canadians , Aussies and Kiwis. All the crew spoke excellent English and all the business was in English. Everything really is included in the ticket read more price, except the laundry ( which struck me as a bit expensive) and the massages. Good quality booze is included, and the bartender has a great repertoire of cocktails, but nobody over indulges. Where you can be over indulgent is in the meals. Three three course gourmet meals every day! Lots of tasty treats that you don’t get at home, and steaks are always an option.
There is a choice of excursions every day, all very smoothly organised, folklore shows in the evening from the districts we happen to be in. Plus there are plenty of lazy options such as sitting in the top deck chatting and soaking in the pool, playing cards with new friends in the front cabin, and having those massages. The cabin itself is quite compact, the shower especially so, but we didn’t spend much time in there. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our week sightseeing, over eating, and making new friends.
