What our clients are saying about their guided tour experiences
“Highlights of Spain”
Accommodation was not as good as expected for a 5 star operator. Extra legroom on coach was appreciated. Included restaurants were a treat. Rest stops were better then expected. Travel director Maria was well organised, approachable and very likeable.
“Best of Switzerland”
The Movenpick Zurich Airport hotel to start the tour was a great place to stay with a convenient free transfer to/from the airport. Our tour guide Yanya and driver Franco were tops. The quality of the hotels throughout was better than I had expected. Highlight? Matterhorn with beautiful weather was unbeatable, we all enjoyed every second up there. You did need to buy the excursions to get the best out of the tour, otherwise you were left in places where there was not much to do or see. Meals ...read more were generally good too. We were 31 on the coach with a mix of counties - 8 Aus, 2 NZ and the rest split between USA & Canada. Can't stress enough, you need a reasonable level of fitness, 1 person in a wheel chair and some could barely make it onto the coach, but the driver and tour guide seemed to take it in their stride. I would rate it at least 4.5 out of 5. Thanks for your help Yvonne at Global Journeys with the booking process.
“Fabulous tour through the enchanting canyonlands”
Hassle free booking through Global Journeys and a fabulous Globus tour. Although 45 on the tour (Americans, couple of Australians and New Zealanders) everyone was friendly and on time for all departures. Al was a knowledgeable and very capable tour guide, organising the needs of guests within the itinerary. The canyons visited were a good mix of scenery. Antelope Slot Canyon particularly amazing. We were told this was not a guaranteed optional tour and organised independently which caused us some ...read more transport hassles.
“Thoroughly enjoyable taste of the South Island”
Thoroughly enjoyable tour. Tour guide Peter organised us really well, everyone was on time for early morning departures and back on the coach at prearranged times when we stopped to see the sights. Our coach driver Peter was excellent, did an amazing job around all those windy roads! He was a local and had great knowledge of the South Island and pointed out the sights as we travelled. No hesitation in recommending Grand Pacific Tours.

Natasha's Take on Independent Travel vs Guided Touring in Cambodia
I’ve always wanted to visit Cambodia, I mean, who doesn’t want to see the silhouette of Angkor Wat against a backdrop of an epic sunrise? So, when I saw the opportunity to take some leave and set off on a quick adventure (inspired by a string of public holidays), Cambodia shot straight to the..

Highlights of Cambodia through Natasha's Eyes
I recently set off on an incredible trip through Cambodia and got to see so many beautiful places. I was limited by my dates so I couldn’t fit in a tour and instead navigated this incredible country on my own (with my partner in tow) – you can read how I found tackling Cambodia independently..
