What our clients are saying about their journeys to Spain

“A well -designed Tour spoiled by a poor tour guide”
Stephen & Christina - NSW, Australia Jun 2019
This tour should have been a most enjoyable tour, but spoiled by a tour guide who didn’t really care about the people under his care and guidance. The journey from Madrid to Santiago de Compostela took about 6 to 7 hours. It was absolutely boring! Apart from a short perfunctory remark for about 10 minutes, our so-called “Tour Guide” did absolutely nothing to alleviate the boredom. We were hoping for some dissertation on the history, culture and politics on Spain, or at the very least a video or more

“Highlights of Spain & Portugal”
Michael - Australia Jun 2019
Spain and Portugal are a must do, so much to see and do, the Spanish and Portuguese people are very friendly. Globus were very efficient, as with most group tours the pace was pretty hectic but we were aware of this before we went. Jemma at Global Journeys did a great job in helping me set the holiday up, next holiday I will explore with her for sure.

“Would definitely recommend Back-Roads' Iberian Inspiration”
Kaye & Stuart - NSW, Australia Jun 2019
Thank you Yvonne. We really appreciated your careful consideration of allowing sufficient time for connecting flights whilst still getting us the best flight deal. The Back-Roads trip was exactly what we had hoped for. Small number of great people, terrific tour and lovely guides who enhanced our travel experience with their knowledge and enthusiastic commentary, beautiful hotels and plenty of free time to explore. Would definitively recommend.

“Highlights of Spain and Portugal”
Andrew & Hazel - WA, Australia Jun 2019
This tour fulfilled all our expectations, the Trafalgar tour guide Rita was outstanding in her duties as was the coach driver Mario. Tour highlights were the day in Segovia, Roman aqueduct and castle, also the Be My Guest at a Portuguese stud ranch, sea food dinner along Tagus river, and not forgetting Hazel having Happy Birthday sung in Portuguese by Rita and Mario. The tour group were a mix from Australia, USA, UK, India, all mixed well, 43 on the coach. Booking all went smoothly thanks to Jem more
