AAT Kings have partnered with Global Journeys since our inception, and as a result we have an in-depth understanding of all their trips, through both Australia and New Zealand. Our team have journeyed with them on 9 tours through New Zealand, Tasmania, South Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland. That close relationship also means we can deliver fantastic savings throughout the year. AAT King's core multi-day coach tours cater mainly for those over 55+, whilst their short breaks in the Northern Territory tend to attract a more diverse range of ages. All coaches are first class, and AAT Kings pride themselves on their tour guides - many of which have been with them for decades!

As a relative newcomer to the luxury touring market, Inspiring Journeys was developed to rekindle your passion for travel through immersive, boutique experiences. I have done many bus tours in Australia and this was one of the best. I have also visited SA many times but had not spent a lot of time on the Eyre Peninsula. The, scenery, the places we visited, the experiences from Murphy's Haystack to visiting oyster farms, to having mouth watering food, were simply the best. The accommodation was good, the particular read more stand out was the hotel at Port Lincoln located on the waterfront. Liz our Tour Director was very professional in her management and organisational, along with her enthusiasm for the country side. Anthony the coach driver was as good as they come, there were no uneasy moments. Kings always do a great job. Well done.

This was an incredible trip, a trip of a lifetime. It was a great time of year to go, leaving Darwin on 12 August 2025. We were lucky to have a very experienced Tour Manager as our guide the whole way. Carolyn was very familiar with the entire area, and knew many of the local guides and hotel managers personally. This was helpful for our optional trips. read more Our coach driver, Macca, was excellent. He washed the coach every day and kept our windows clean for great viewing from the coach. Everyone on this trip got on well with each other and we felt like a big family, helping each other if needed. The accommodations were excellent (even in remote areas), and the food delicious. Group dinners, when provided, were delicious and we could select from a few options for each course. Carolyn also made sure that those with special dietary needs were catered for each day. I was lucky to have Grace as my travel advisor at Global Journeys, and she kept on top of my bookings and transfers. It was a pleasure to work with her. Other travel agencies could not get me the AAT Kings discounts (like being a previous traveler with AAT Kings), so luckily I found Grace and she got them for me!
The tour was organised exceptionally well, I had a fantastic time. Thank you Georgie for all your help, you made it stress free. Loved the trip. A bit rushed. Too many early mornings and long days. Great way to see Central Australia. Coach driver and travel director were great, very knowledgeable. Thanks again Georgie.
Both tour guide and driver were great. Tour guide had great knowledge of everywhere we went. We saw amazing country and the billabong cruise was are highlight. The culture experiences were very interesting. The days were packed and a few of the walks were a bit difficult for some on the tour.
I began by consulting various travel agents, and Global Journeys emerged as the most exceptional choice. From the very beginning to the very end, my entire travel experience was flawless. The hotels, coach, coach driver, and tour guide exceeded all my expectations.

Thank you to Tracey, our travel advisor. The wonderful sights and experiences in New Zealand will truly be remembered. The tour director and the driver were notably fabulous. We were always informed, organized and safe, even in our periods of free time. The coach was super comfortable, and we had ample stops.
Had so many highlights on this tour, it's hard to single one out. Uluru and Kings Canyon would have to be up there. Seeing Uluru both at sunset and sunrise was fantastic, as was the 'Under a Desert Moon' degustion dinner and completing the rim walk at Kings Canyon. Our Outback BBQ dinner on the last night was a fabulous way to wrap up this amazing read more tour. Our tour director, Tony, was fantastic- a wealth of knowledge and so much fun! Couldn't have asked for a better tour leader. Phil, our driver was also great, friendly and helpful. All included meals and accommodation were great. Mid September was a wonderful time to visit the Red Centre.

Tony our guide and Oly our driver looked after us in a thoroughly professional manner. We had enoughtime to enjoy the sights without being rushed and being in a small group made the whole process easier, i.e. no long queues when arriving at hotels, restaurants etc. Tony was very knowledgable and kept us entertained throughout the trip.
Everything about this trip was magnificent. The accommodation, the bus, the journey, the driver/Guide Michael, Aerial journey over Kakadu, attractions, Katherine Gorge and the sunset river cruise dinner was just out of this world. We were the only Vegetarians/Vegans in the group and we were looked after very well in the food that was served to us. Special read more mention to Driver/Guide Michael who was very caring, knowledgeable, patient, witty and made the whole trip a very memorable one. Good on you mate!

Booking with Global journeys was easy. They were very thorough and helpful. The tour was absolutely amazing and delivered everything it promised. We stayed at amazing accommodation and the meals were 5 star. We learnt so much about the Northern Territory from our tour guide and had lots of fun experiences.
Only 17 guests [max 20] on this tour made for a cohesive and enjoyable group. Our guide/driver Gordon was informative and professional. Due to a gearbox failure in the 4WD vehicle prior to our trip, we started the tour in a standard coach. however, AAT Kings went out of their way to expedite repairs of this vehicle, and delivered it mid trip so we read more did not miss any sightseeing.
Accommodation and dinners on tour were first rate, lunches [picnic style] were sometimes a little underwhelming [but understandable due to remoteness]. Having plenty of water, drinks and snacks onboard the vehicle at all times was an added bonus. Activities and sightseeing on tour were excellent, and the optional helicopter flight was great. Some activities were more strenuous than others, but there was always an alternative for the “not so fit”. Our driver also included some “not on itinerary stops”. All in all, a great trip!
