The service I received was excellent. The boat is divine. The ports aren't that interesting, they're more like abandoned villages.
Scenic Cruise from Taipei to Bali   , QLD, Australia, Jun 2025
Took a Scenic Cruise, starting in Taipei and travelling to Manila, El Nido, Sabah and several Indonesian islands. The trip included wildlife watching, museums, viewing cultural practices and watersports on several beaches. Our cruise had 185 passengers and even more crew. Overall, very happy with the yacht and Scenic do a good job ensuring you have ...read more a good time with an endless bar and room service whenever you wish. The destinations were varied.

Things that could have been done better was the day before starting the cruise in Taipei. The charge for the Taipei hotel was much more than the rack rate and no tour of Taipei was arranged. Also, there was lots of confusion surrounding the visas and it was left to the yacht crew to sort out when some of it could have been sorted out beforehand.

Many fellow passengers had been on several Scenic cruises prior so that was a good endorsement. I'd travel with them again. I'd choose Scenic Eclipse 1 over 2 as well as the cabin design and furnishings are better on 1.
Grand adventure   , QLD, Australia, May 2025
We were looking forward to a holiday that was going to give us the overall coverage of Japan in one trip so we thought the Cunard QE was going to give us that and it did. We enjoyed the trip but thought the boat was a bit too over the top for us. We felt if you weren’t the type of people who wanted to go glitzy each night there was little alternative ...read more - for that reason we felt a bit left out. Food was average and we expected better for a ship that is suppose to exude luxury but we saw all the sights we wanted and at a convenient docking spot each day.
Japan Cruise   , QLD, Australia, Apr 2025
Firstly thanks to Hannah Campbell. Hannah was very helpful in booking our trip and responding to my queries. Some of the included excursions were disappointing. eg. 2 hours at Hiroshima Peace Park was too long and should of had an alternative excursion in Kobe when weather blocked mountain top views. No refund for cancelled excursion in Tokyo due to ...read more bad weather.
