What our clients are saying about their journeys sailing in and around the Mediterranean
Malta, Morocco & the Med Malta, Morocco & the Mediterranean , QLD, Australia, Feb 2026
Sailing with Viking was perfect, they really look after all their passengers. Embarking & disembarking are fast, smooth & seamless. Food was varied & often followed the theme of the port we were visiting. Staff are all so friendly & genuine in their interactions with everyone. The cabin is so well laid out we had drawers we didn’t use. Everything was read more well thought out & their experience in cruising is obvious. One or two ports were a bit dull, not sure why Tunis is a destination, perhaps it’s just logistics because of the distance to cover.

One bit we found a bit perhaps unfair is when they release the excursions, the penthouses, owners suites, Explorers suites etc get to choose & book first, thereby making it harder to get a spot in places where there is a very big highlight…such as Alhambra. We booked our excursions the second they were sent to us & still missed out. Three of the restaurants stand out, Manfredi, Chefs Table & The Restaurant - excellent food choices & high standard but not snooty at all, but that is not to say the casual restaurants & cafes were anything other than very good. You do not need to dress up, just smart casual is fine. It’s never been our choice to go to any of the shows so can’t comment. It will be nearly impossible for us to choose another company to sail with in the future.

We worked with Ms. Kaitlyn Oliver to book our cruise with Princess Cruise Lines. She was amazing - I highly recommend asking for her when you book your next adventure. She took the time to explain all the ins and outs of cruising as we had never cruised before. We made some changes to our package and Kaitlyn handled for us with ease. We were lucky to read more have her - when we had questions she got back to asap! Our cruise was amazing - we had so much fun! Thank you Kaitlyn for making this possible!
