Due to record breaking flooding in Thailand, we had to scramble for alternate choices leaving in 3 days because time off could not be changed for my granddaughter. Our original tour operator did nothing but try to talk us into keeping our tour to Thailand despite reports that even Bangkok was in 4 feet of water. Enter a lucky search showing me On the read more Go Tours and in three days, Kaitlyn and her staff had us booked in our exact time frame to another place on the bucket list--Morocco! Thank goodness I booked fully refundable everything for the Thai trip because I lost nothing and we had a wonderful trip with OTGT.
We wanted extra time in different places - no problem. Kait and crew set us up after leaving main group with an independent guide. The two of us and a guide, who will work as much or as little as you want from them! We had a marvelous time seeing things I hadn't seen nine years ago on my last trip to Morocco. Our "private" guide (there were only two of us during our last 6 days) recommended wonderful restaurants where, after so much tajine, we found amazing Italian, Franch and even a "best burger"! Touring Chefchaoune (the blue city) was an unexpected highlight--and we were perfectly comfortable making our own way when we wanted, knowing our "private guide" was just a text way in the same area, if we needed him. This trip was the best of both worlds--guided with the wonderful Maraoune and blushing Zade our driver in the beginning, to almost on our own with our helpful scholar Omar in the end. We would both do it all again!

Great Cosmos Tour

Another great trip booked with Global Journeys on Cosmos. Right from the first enquiry with Georgie the process was so easy. The pace of the trip was great, never felt rushed and plenty of time to explore the locations. Loved the towns we stayed in, lots of activities or able to relax if you wanted. Highlight was the trip between San Francisco and Los read more Angeles along Big Sur. Solvang was a wonderful overnight stay, loverly Danish themed town. Grand Canyon never disappoints. Sonora was another fantastic overnight stay, local markets and great restaurants. Our driver Tony did a fantastic job, always felt safe, big smile and lots of laughs.

This tour provided a good taste of two countries and packed in alot without being too intensive and there was plenty to taste and experience. Travelling end of Sep/early October provided great weather and less crowds. The flights and tour was well organised by Tracey.
