Bunnik Tours
Bunnik Tours is a family business with a focus on crafting itineraries that really get to the heart of all that a destination has to offer through a balance more of organised sightseeing, special local experiences and time for independent exploration. We know that some of the best experiences are when you wander away from the group and make your own discoveries.

In creating our small group tours, we are driven by two guiding principles. First, everything we do is about your experience, which is why we only run tours with a maximum of 20 people – that’s less time waiting, more time exploring. Second, when done properly, tourism can be an incredible force for good that generates economic and social benefits in the places we visit.

Fabulous Mekong River Cruise Wonders of Vietnam, Cambodia & the Mekong , NSW, Australia, Jan 2026
We recently returned from the Emerald Mekong River Cruise through Vietnam and Cambodia. This was our first Emerald Cruise and will not be our last, it exceeded all expectations, the staff, sightseeing and boat were sensational. Our booking through Global Journeys with Hannah as out consultant was very simple and the trip went without any issues. Would read more highly recommend Emerald Cruises and Global Journeys.
Multiple Highlights   Christmas in Japan , NSW, Australia, Dec 2025
Wendy Woo's Christmas in Japan tour was amazing. It did rely on a lot of bus rides and a couple of train rides but that enabled us to see places far and wide. The hotels we stayed at were all of a high standard, with most being centrally located. We were exposed to a variety of Japanese foods and all meals breakfast, lunch and dinner, were included read more in the cost. Highlights included: seeing Mt Fuji clearly; dressing in kimonos and making sweets during a tea ceremony, and feeding deer in Nara.
Vietnam & Cambodia A Mekong Experience , NSW, Australia, Nov 2025
Just returned from an amazing experience with Wendy Wu booked through Global Journeys. The experiences exceeded our expectations. The guides took great care of everyone and were wonderful at meeting everyone's personal needs. We had a 95 year old who had planned the trip with his wife, who sadly passed away a few months prior. A beautiful bunch of read more travellers that looked after him throughout. There were many highlights but the most important reflection of the journey was the diversity of experiences and the support of the local communities especially in Cambodia. It is a tour that is more than about visiting historical sites and temples. The communities we visited expressed their gratitude for Wendy Wu and the impact that the support of these agents is having in their community. We were welcomed into peoples homes where they so willingly shared their skills and daily life with us. So many welcoming smiles from people that have so little.
I loved every moment. Japan Express – Osaka to Tokyo , NSW, Australia, Nov 2025
Wonderful tour. Japanese 'CEO' was so kind and well organized. She made sure we had a great variety of experiences in and outside of the cities. I loved every moment of my tour.
GAdventures- Discover Japan Nov 7-20   Discover Japan , ON, Canada, Nov 2025
This was our 5th trip with G Adventures and it did not disappoint. The CEO, Toshio, was outstanding in his knowledge, organization, kindness and generosity. He even guided us around during free time ! I used Global Journeys to book the trip because they quoted a better price than GAdventures. Melissa made the booking easy and made sure I received read more my GAdventures credit and also that we could use our rail pass on the last day for our transfer to the airport. We used Zipair for our flight and had no problem using a no-frills company to save on our flight costs. Accomodation was as expected with only 2 nights with shared washrooms. Seniors might have difficulty with beds on the floor.

Time of year was perfect for us as we don’t like heat, Temperature ranged from 10-20 C with the cooler days being in the mountains. There was only 1 day of rain and it was light. We had a nice mix of fellow travellers from 4 different countries and an age range of 35- 80 yrs. A couple of people in the group brought way too much luggage and relied on others for help. We walked 17,000- 20,000 steps a day so you must be fit enough do this as well as carry your own luggage. The itinerary was ideal for first time visitors and we didn’t feel rushed.
Enjoyable tour Splendours of Japan , NSW, Australia, Nov 2025
We enjoyed seeing the sights, culture, countryside, gardens and much more of Japan. The first and last hotels on the tour were great….our tour guide was fabulous and very knowledgeable, plus went out of her way to give us Japanese treats, local tips and always making sure we all had fun and enjoyed our Japanese experience. We would recommend seeing read more Japan and touring with Trafalgar.
