Great European End Amsterdam   0 , NSW, Australia, Aug 2023
This was an excellent vacation. It was packed with lots of sightseeing and Trafalgar had a great itinerary planned which was executed by both Tour Directors we had with efficiency and humor. Perhaps a little to jam packed with churches in the first half of the tour.
Great European Tour 2 , Queensland, Australia, Jun 2022
The tour began and ended at the Tower Hotel, London. We didn't stay at this hotel because it was very expensive! Other hotels on our journey were very good, though whenever we reached a significant city, the hotels were typically on the outskirts - a good reason for doing a small group tour. The first half of our tour ended in Rome, and we had a full ...read more coach of 42 passengers. In Rome, the majority of the tour completed their tour, and only 17 of us continued on to Amsterdam.

Australian tour members had the option of a free transfer to London. Only five of us did this, including the Tour Director. Our Tour Director was Kassie Jones. She was excellent - patient, understanding, empathetic, and amazingly knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour. Our coach driver, Antonio, was also excellent. He drove the coach like it was his own, which makes sense because his family did own the coach and many others. I loved the way Antonio cleaned the coach windows every morning, as well as keeping the inside immaculate. On the first half of the tour, we had a health officer, Sandra. She was very good also and helpful.

We went so many awesome places, including Paris, Bordeaux, Biarritz, Pamplona, Madrid, Barcelona, French Riviera, Monaco, Pisa, Florence, Rome, Venice, European Alps, Vienna, Bratislava, Prague, Munich, Lucerne, Boppard, Cologne, and Amsterdam. We especially liked the fact that many of the visits were of two nights duration. Over 27 day, a few of the passengers started to annoy, but overall we were a happy, cohesive group. We loved the trip, and we would certainly travel with Trafalgar again - especially if we could have the same Tour Director!
A memorable trip with many highlights 5 , VIC, Australia, Apr 2019
We had a wonderful journey through many countries with picturesque countryside and breathtaking views. Places visited in many cities were amazing with monuments and sculptures, museums, churches with exceptionally tall domes and beautiful palaces which all represent the European history with its grandeur.

Driving along the French Riviera and the ...read more Italian coastline was magnificent. The Gondola ride in Venice and the cruise in the canals of Amsterdam were very much enjoyable. The view from the snow capped mountain top in Switzerland was most beautiful.

We travelled many long hours on the coach. A lot of walking was involved as well as climbing hills and steps. Most days we reached the hotel late afternoon. The hotels were located further away from the city centre and quite inconvenient in certain cities where no shops or restaurants were close by. Although the itinerary had free time it is not so if you choose optionals. Optionals can add up to a considerable amount as this is a long trip.

Some hotels were not up to standard and included meals were basic to average. Travel Director provided us with lot of info as to the history and the current status of each country we visited. The local specialists gave us a commentary in many cities and popular sites. The coach driver was most skilled and we felt very comfortable on the coach. We had the company of 29 other fellow travellers who made it all interesting and worthwhile.

This is our 3rd trip booked through Global Journeys and Hannah has handled them all. The process has been easy and worry free.
European Highlights   3 , QLD, Australia, Sep 2016
A wonderful journey that highlighted the major sites of Europe, made even more enjoyable by the amazing group of people I travelled with. Definitely gave me a taste of what Europe has to offer and plenty of ideas of where I would like to return to in the future.
The most amazing experience/holiday 4 , VIC, Australia, May 2015
My wife and I had the most amazing experience/holiday. We could not have imagined how smooth and organized the tour operated. The tour Guide, Emile and the Coach driver, Massimo were excellent and both of them made the experience better with their humour, knowledge and personalities. We were very lucky also to have a great and diverse group of people ...read more on the coach and everyone got along with each other. We were treated like royalty and made to feel very special. Our Tour Guide constantly added extra experiences so as to make our holiday even more special. The only negative was that we were not properly informed of the costs involved in partaking of the Optional Excursions. Luckily we did all of them and found them worthwhile. I cannot find any fault with Global Journeys in the organisation of the holiday as they answered all my questions and arranged accommodation and transport to and from airport.
Lifetime trip that exceeded all our expectations 3 , NSW, Australia, May 2015
We thoroughly recommend Trafalgar's Great European tour. It was a once in a lifetime trip that exceeded all our expectations. Our tour director Peter and driver Michele did an excellent job to ensure everything was well planned and executed ensuring everyone had the greatest experiences. Every night we would sit back and think what an amazing day. ...read more We can't wait for our next trip.
