It was a wonderful trip, organized with some good optionals for local tourings. We had a very good globus advisor who assisted us to plan & booked our trip; everything went smooth and pleasant. Our main Globus tour guide was also very good & helpful which made our trip pleasant & enjoyable.
100% Worry Free Kinda Vacation 2 , New South Wales, Australia, Apr 2019
This is my first time booking through western tour group, and Global Gourney was recommended by my friend who has been using quite a number of times and have a lot of good feedback. The whole process was so simple and seemingly smooth.

I chose Globus as the departure time was more suitable for me but I was juggling between Trafalgar and Insight read more as I was travelling with my mother who has knee issues so I wanted to pick one which was interesting but yet not too busy and had a bit of leisure throughout the trip.

And to my surprise, the tour was exceptionally wonderful all the way through. It had a mixture of ages. But yet it was interesting everyday with a not too overly busy schedule, so everyday had time to rest and all hotels were based in central locations, easy access for free leisure time.

Our Tour Guide was funny and so friendly. Plus I joined all the optional tours and the whole group within this tour was made up of amazing people from different countries. Met a lot of new friends. Quite a memorable experience for the first time joining this sort of tour.

I would definitely recommend Global Journeys to anyone. After I booked the tour, they posted a package with booklet and a personal welcome pack. Which was very thoughtful and felt quite special. After I met with the other tour members, none of them that got the welcome pack and they all booked through other websites so I suggested them all to book with Global Journey in their next trip holidays as their service has been amazing! Thank you for a wonderful memory and amazing service from start to finish!

Tour was very good, accommodation exceeded expectations and the guide was excellent. I was particularly impressed with the comfort of the coach and also the pace of the tour. Having at least two nights in each destination was what convinced me to do this trip as a tour rather than organise it myself.

My only criticisms were that the price of the read more optional excursions were significantly over priced. I was able to do the activities easily by myself and often for about a third of the price. Also I didn't like the pressuring of customers to make a tip at the end of the journey. I'm sure this is quite commonplace for American travelers and part of their custom, however, many other countries it is not and this should be respected more.
Wonderful introduction to Scandinavia 2 , QLD, Australia, Aug 2016
Even though it was only a tour of the capitals, I enjoyed it immensely. The excursion to Tallinn in Estonia was especially good. Our Tour Manager and Coach driver were the loveliest people I've met in a long time. All local Tour Guides were very knowledgeable. The accommodation & meals were to a good standard, considering we only had 2 nights in each read more city. I think the highlight of my trip was the overnight cruise from Stockholm to Helsinki. Sailing through the Archipelago was magnificent. I would definitely recommend this tour as it is great value for money, and booking with Global Journeys on-line was easy, the response was immediate, and they kept you up to date throughout, with your booking.
Very good trip 1 , SA, Australia, Aug 2015
Very good trip with a comfortable coach and a wonderful tour guide. She made you feel like you had known her forever.
Our tour guide made the cultures come to life 3 , Australia, Aug 2012
I had a wonderful time on the Globus tour of Northern Europe. Our tour guide, Oivind Fure, was amazing at his job. He made the cultures come to life, and being Norwegian and living in Sweden and Denmark, he had a vast knowledge of Scandinavia, even having aerial skiing as a hobby. The dinners were great, with wonderful food and company. I enjoyed the read more local guides' tours also. The accommodation was much better than I've been in before, and was very central to the city centres. There was no end of churches, palaces and parliament buildings to see. Swan Lake and the Russian dancing concert were amazing. And there was always plenty of vodka and beer at hand. Booking through you, Georgie, at Global Journeys in Queensland made life a lot easier as I could pay in Australian dollars with BPay. The other tour I went on to Greenland involved paying in English pounds to an English company. You were also very prompt in replying, unlike other companies.
