Our trip to Norway with Globus 4 , WA, Australia, May 2024
Our highlights of our tour would be definately the cruise of the two fjords which was amazing and the lookout over Leon. Also the scenary and the countryside of Norway so beautiful especially as we travelled in the Spring in early May. Our trip with Globus was run smoothly all accommodation, clean, comfortable and nice size rooms . Most of the accommodation read more didnt supply shampoo so maybe bring your own also a tip, use santize often as most dinners are buffet and especially being on a coach with other passengers on the tour. Our travel companions was a good mix both Australian and from the US. So it was easy to make new friends.

I would definately use Globus again, also our booking with Global Journeys was handled very efficiently and we had quick responses to any questions we had. Our documents received in plenty of time. We would definately use Global Journeys again as it was quick and easy to do online and to communicate.
Scenic Norway with Globus   3 , Qld, Australia, Aug 2023
Firstly I have always used Global Journeys in Noosa for my tour bookings and really love using this company. I have travelled with Trafalgar four times previously and had a wonderful time. Sadly they couldn't accommodate my request as a solo traveler. So I went with Globus, which was a completely different experience. Globus is supposed to be a step read more up from Trafalgar, yet I found no difference in the standard of accommodation or the coach. There were more evening meals included but that was paid for in the increased cost of the tour.

Globus appears to provide a different service to Americans than other nations. We the 'non- Americans' - noticed that the American tourists were all carrying wheeled carry-on luggage. These bags were loaded on and off by the driver. I had phoned Globus Australia to be told very firmly there were to be no wheeled carry-on luggage, with all other 'non- Americans' stating the same ruling. Struggling through airports and ongoing travel with a handbag and shoulder bag was extremely difficult.

Norway was a beautiful country, and the pace of the tour was fine. Although the guide kept quoting all costs in American Dollars or Euro; Norwegian the currency is Krone. It became rather frustrating to be converting from Euro/AUD. The accommodation was clean, though the rooms were extremely small, they did provide some spectacular views! The coach was very full, more so than the Trafalgar tours with seat rotation a time for aggression. Quite upsetting at times. Now that I am home and reviewing the photos, I can appreciate what an awe-inspiring country Norway really is. I wish the tour guide had been able to generate more interest and enthusiasm in the history and culture of Norway. Absolutely include Norway on your tour list. But my opinion is as a 'non-American' not with Globus. Tusen Takk!!
Absolutely beautiful scenery 5 , WA, Australia, Sep 2016
We had previously enjoyed travelling in Switzerland and Austria but touring Norway has taken the word "scenic" to a whole new level. It is absolutely stunning. A different beautiful vista around every bend...waterfalls, babbling brooks, mountains, valleys and fjords. We enjoyed every day. A well paced tour with plenty of time to explore at each overnight read more stop as we were at most hotels well before dinner. The Norwegian people are extremely friendly and welcoming. Would thoroughly recommend.
Wonderful 3 , QLD, Australia, Jul 2016
Great trip. Loved the fiords and Norway. Excellent guide. Enjoyed museums. Good weather. Good company. The coach and Wifi were ordinary.
An amazing tour with incredible scenery 1 , Australia, Aug 2014
What an amazing tour with incredible scenery, would recommend this tour to anyone. I always enjoy travelling with Globus. What else can I say.
We are very satisfied with the tour 2 , Australia, Jun 2014
We are very satisfied with the tour. The standard of accommodation was very good and the meals were fine. I'm diabetic so the buffet meals suited me as there was a lot of choice. Norway is beautiful and sells itself. We had great warm weather also which made everything sparkle. Coach was very comfortable even though it was full. The driver was in a read more class of his own taking us up hill and down fjiord with ease. Our tour guide Finn-Pieter was exceptional. very calm, experienced and kept everyone on tack without seeming to. The extra excursions were worth the price, however we missed going to Greig's house which disappointed a few. Overall a well thought out tour run be very capable people. Good value for money I think.
Well planned and run at a comfortable pace 3 , Australia, Aug 2013
Tour was well planned and run at a comfortable pace. Special mention must be made of Peter the Tour Guide. Peter was very knowledgeable and his sense of humour and attention to detail made a big difference to all of us. We usually travel independently but would now consider Globus for our future travels.
