We had an amazing time. Every thing was very well organised. Tour guide was excellent. Driver did an amazing job too. Their experience working together really showed as they made an excellent team. Fellow travellers were a great group of friendly people. We all got along really well. We were very lucky with the weather too. I would and we have read more already recommended Trafalgar to people as a really excellent tour company both for content and value.

The overall trip was excellent. My wife, daughter and I enjoyed every minute of it. Our tour guide Jess was lovely, she had everything running very smoothly. People turned up on time to get on the coach with no late comers which was good. The food and accommodation was excellent.
Loved this tour. We luckily got one of the new coaches, they are super comfy. The Tour Director was really competent, really lovely and so well organised she made us all feel special. We visited so many fab places, I know I will do another tour.

Our Trafalgar tour was fantastic. Canada is a fantastic country to visit - scenery, people, cities... all offered something different and amazing. Our guide, Adam, was an ex-Aussie, and our driver Ed, a Scotsman. They both got on very well together, so made the trip very smooth and fun. The Calgary Stampede was a brilliant show of horses and fun. and read more the best fireworks I've ever seen. Highly recommend Canada as a country to visit, and Global Journeys to organize it.

Scenic Scandinavia and its Fjords

Tour covered a lot of ground with many 8 or 10 hour days. I would have preferred a slightly longer tour with some more free days to allow extra time in major cities. The tour had a huge amount of included sightseeing, the tour director, Amanda Flint was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and very capable, ensuring everyone enjoyed themselves. I thought read more some of the accommodation particularly in Leikanger in Norway was very average and could be improved.
Lydia was a wonderful tour director and established alot of trust and confidence immediately. She was always very personable and approachable. Joao was a great driver and an artist on the road. He managed the coach smoothly and we always felt safe with his driving. In terms of my booking experience, I felt Kirby often took too long to respond (sometimes read more 2 days) which did leave me feeling doubtful. (Ed. Sorry to hear about the delays you experienced with Kirby at Global Journeys, as we pride ourselves on our speedy responses. Thanks for the feedback.)

Apart from hotel in Vienna and Prague although they were good quality they were not located near city centre. We liked all accommodation in city centres to allow us to reach places. Also for vegetarian meal options the food was basic compared to other meals. Worth making efforts by Trafalgar to get compatible hot main meals as it should be very easy read more now a days to arrange. Thanks.

Scenic Scandinavia and its Fjords

We returned from a Scandinavian trip about a week ago. It was an excellent tour, where we learned a lot about Scandinavian countries and explored fantastic views of Northern nature, especially in Norway. The travel director Catrin Griffiths was very knowledgeable. We got a feeling that she really loved Scandinavian countries and passed her passion read more to us. Catrin was also very kind and friendly and helped all tourists to get comfortable on a trip. She set up and maintained a nice & friendly atmosphere within the group. We'd also like to make a note about a high professional level of our driver Laslo. Our only comment is that stay in the main cities could've been longer, particularly Oslo, where we stayed only one night, that definitely was not enough to explore the town.Trafalgar service was great. All booked hotels were of good quality and located in town centre, that was very convenient. We didn't need to take care about carrying our baggage, that was excellent. When we'll be planning our next holiday as an organised tour we'll definitely turn to Trafalgar.
I enjoyed this tour very much! The hotels were of the great quality, the tour guide was very intelligent and information he provided was very interesting. Visited great places in Turkey - highlights for me were a cruise in Antalya, ballooning in Cappadocia, and a Bosphorus river cruise. Definitely good value for money! Thank you!

Thank you Georgie for organising our tour, accommodation and transfers in New York, promptly and efficiently. Booking and confirming details was easy and you were very contactable. All went well and we had a great trip. I will definitely use Global Journeys for any future trips and I have no qualms in recommending you to my friends, as I have already read more done so. The only disappointing glitch was the Super Shuttle, which I would not recommend as we waited over an hour to be collected from the airport and then another two hours getting to the hotel. Other travellers had similar experiences. We decided to take a cab on our return transfer to JFK. This was our sixth tour with Trafalgar and definitely the best. The itinerary, the hotels and included meals were all excellent. but what made it that extra special was our tour director Ben Conte and our coach driver Jose Cardona and of course our fellow travellers. Both Ben and Jose work well together and both are very friendly, approachable and passionate about their country. Well done Trafalgar, we'll be back!
Appreciated Global Journeys efforts in securing us a place on the tour when others had been telling us it was full! Also very professional service. Tour was great, good pace and lots of interesting commentary by the Tour Director.
The whole Trafalgar tour was fantastic I would have to say the tour sites we went to each day were great our accommodation was excellent throughout the tour probably our first night and second night at Plymouth was the only hotel that was of a poor standard old fashioned furniture, carpets badly worn etc. All the rest of the hotels were of very high read more standard. Our Trafalgar tour guide John Barleyman & driver Paul Jacques were the best, John always organised and in control of what was itinerary for each day was also had little secret locations to take us to nothing was too much trouble for him when asked to help us with a problem. John was very informative about our next site we going to visit and would always know the history of the place before we got there. Paul was a fantastic driver very quiet but also very polite but never missed a beat always new exactly where he was going at all times never had to be given directions and a very safe driver. Every morning when we came to get on the coach he was ready with all luggage already packed. As for our travel group they were all very nice not a nasty person amongst them we all got on very well all in 50 to 60's age group. The 20 days went very quickly we would do it again, lots of memories. My first contact was with Global Journeys and I was most impressed by your staff member Yvonne who helped with my many questions on many occasions no matter what I was asking she calmly helped me and her advice on the before and after accommodation especially was very helpful.

Northern Italian Lakes & Countryside

Yes we really enjoyed our Trafalgar tour around the Italian Lakes, the coach was comfortable and the driver & guide good. We did enjoy staying at Riva del Garda for 5 days. It was a lovely place and we did some interesting trips on some of the days. Global Journeys looked after us very well and we thank you for that.
Fast paced tour of England, Scotland and Wales 2

As advertised, this was a fast paced tour of a huge swathe of England, Scotland and Wales. (At times possibly a little too fast, hence the 'very good'.) Our tour guide Michael Cronin was excellent, given the large tour numbers (48). His patience and knowledge were exceptional, as well as his ability to 'shepherd' the group, ensuring that we didn't read more fall behind schedule. Accommodation was generally excellent however on a couple of occasions later in the tour, (I think Aviemore, but am not completely sure) where breakfasts could have been better as a number of groups stayed at the same hotel and staff appeared to be under a lot of pressure. The reason for the Global Journeys experience rating - Very Good - was because of the change of tour dates - this was probably beyond the control of Global Journeys. Otherwise Kirby & Amy were excellent. By the way how is Kirby traveling with her twins? (Ed. She's a lot lighter, and extremely happy with a healthy boy & girl! Thanks for asking!)
This trip is designed to give one a taste of what is out there. Go, go, go. Tour director, Jelle, was excellent and coach driver, Carlo was good hearted, very obliging and very friendly. Accommodation was good but Europeans love hard beds, so be prepared for that. The Louvre in Paris was a disappointment as it has been very modernised, but at least read more one can say they have been there. Eiffel tower was great, awesome views of Paris, even from level 2. Some of the local guides were non-stop talkers and got a bit annoying after a while. Overall, a great trip.

A great way to see many countries and main attractions in a short space of time however the pace can be hectic when only staying one night in a hotel. Our tour director and driver were excellent and made life as easy as possible.
