We had a fabulous trip. We were very lucky with the weather which helped. It was a good time of the year to go if you want to see more snow. Also everyone is fresh as ours were the first coach, train and cruise out for the season. We would definitely recommend Trafalgar Tours, this is the second time we have travelled with them and will do so again in the future. Global tours were very helpful and our trip went very smoothly with plenty of information.

We had the most amazing time. France is absolutely beautiful, and what a perfect time of year to visit. The tour was really well planned and covered so much of France. Obviously there's always going to be places where you'd like to stay longer but time just doesn't permit. What an incredible job she did to keep everyone on time and organised throughout the tour. A major feat when you're dealing with 45 adults! This was my second experience with Trafalgar and, once again, I was completely happy with their service. The coach was new and clean, our driver was very polite and well mannered, and did an amazing job of manoeuvring the coach in some very awkward locations, especially given the width of the streets in France. Thank you for your assistance in organising the trip. Good planning leads to a very happy traveller!

We enjoyed our trip immensely and for the first time I can say with complete confidence that the trip was made all the more enjoyable because of the Tour Director, Brendan Bush of Trafalgar Tours. He managed to completely bond the group, and bond with the group, within the first couple of days. The group remains in touch and we are planning another ...read more tour together in 2016 - a long time off but I believe that there is a dedication by many to make it happen. The tour itself was busy, medium place and we managed to fit in another couple of special places that were not originally included on the itinerary while still managing to cover the planned visits. Although I am not Catholic, to be present in Rome on Easter Monday and to attend the Vatican whilst the Pontiff was giving his blessing was memorable. My only real complaint of the trip was that it was not long enough. Thanks Global Journeys (Yvonne) for assisting in making the arrangements for this holiday.

A wonderful holiday, made easier by the ability to go through the computer to make inquiries with Global Journeys for any questions we had.

A very enjoyable tour which we thought was very good value. I would suggest though that it is a tour for those with a particular interest in the historical aspects of Turkey
I did become a little tired of ruins and mosques. I would have liked to enjoy the hotels and surrounding areas more but our arrival time did not always make this possible -perhaps ...read more fewer included sights late in the afternoon. Hotels were excellent although, surprisingly, I thought the included dinners were sometimes disappointing, especially the Movenpick. Overall we had a great time and the services of Global Journeys, in particular, Yvonne have been excellent.

I was nervous going on a Trafalgar trip as I had never been on a large tour group before. I was pleasantly surprised. Accommodation was excellent. I enjoyed the itinerary. David was extremely well organised and he managed the large group extremely well. I would definitely do a similar tour again.

As you can see from my ratings, I had a fabulous time. The tour went to some wonderful places, in particular Celestun and the biosphere, school visit and colonial townships. The tour director Edwin was fabulous with the amount of knowledge, fluency in English and the fact that he was local to the area. The cultural information and experience was provided with great depth, the anthropological sites, extraordinary and inspiring. Accommodation, first rate and the haciendas in particular really beautiful. The sisal story was also really captivating. Service from Trafalgar was literally door to door, met at the airport, and also delivered back with personalised service. Made travelling alone really comfortable. Fellow passengers were friendly and suited my age group and interests. Thank you for a great trip. I am sure I will use this company again.

The booking process and communication with Global Journeys (Michelle) was smooth. The one week Irish Highlights (WRIH) tour was the best part of our holiday. Strongly recommend Global Journeys and Trafalgar Tours.

Our tour guide Howard was fantastic, so informative and organised...excellent. The food on the other hand was average, some of the restaurants were well below average and most we spoke to on the tour agreed. At our welcome dinner they gave us microwaved fried rice with sweet chilli sauce squirted around it and said it was traditional netherland food ...read more .. we all shook our heads at that one. Our farewell dinner, which the restaurant had been advised of our orders 4 days before by Howard, didn't have one of the desserts and had no soft drinks for the kids. Well that was until Howard got up them and suddenly Pepsi appeared but no Lemonade. I was embarrassed for Howard as he had made every effort to make our trip memorable. So I would suggest Trafalgar look into a few of their restaurant choices, ie Amsterdam, Venice, Rome and Paris. Nevertheless we had a ball, we loved the tour and all the cities and countries we saw. I think the fact we had a great bunch of people on tour and a fantastic tour guide in Howard, this made our trip really great. Thanks to you too Yvonne for being so helpful in organising this most memorable trip.

Loved, loved, loved all of it. Everyone we dealt with was so friendly and helpful - very unusual these days!! The assistance with the booking of our trip was more than excellent; given that my husband and I changed our mind about which trip a number of times. Nothing was too much trouble. It had been many years since we were on a bus tour such as this and wow what a great experience, great guide, comfortable bus and very good hotels. Our fellow travellers were always on time and were comfortable with each other during the travels. Great value great tour.

The Xmas Markets tour was very enjoyable and our Tour Director and coach driver were both excellent. Loved the cold weather! Best places for us were Castle Neuschwenstein and Omeramagau followed closely by Mt Pilatus and the horse and cart ride to the Swiss farm. Many thanks also to Yvonne Brooks who made it all possible.

The tour schedules between locations run exceptionally well. The tour was organised and whatever the weather was, we got the most of it. I was expecting less on all accommodations, but they were excellent....roomy and clean.

Service was generally very good and we were well taken care of by the tour director and the driver. The accommodation at a couple of the hotels was not as good as expected.

We had an excellent tour with Trafalgar on our panorama journey throughout the UK. As it was the end of the season, there were only 25 travellers, so we were able to spread comfortably throughout the bus and get to know other folks from different age groups and nationalities. The tour director, Daniel Wood, was just wonderful. He was full of tales and ...read more funny stories and kept us constantly amused. His knowledge of history was just amazing and inspired us all. The bus driver was very good also and always displayed courtesy and good manners to his passengers. We had a break about every 2 hours and it was very clearly advised what time we had and what time to be back at the bus. The accommodation on the whole was good, some hit and miss and the breakfasts were much the same everywhere. The extra outings were good too, although this does add to the cost but what is the point in going if you are going to do as much as possible. I think some of these outings could have been included in the overall price.

We really enjoyed our holiday and have no complaints. We were well looked after, the tour leader and drivers were very conscientious. We are happy to recommend Global Journeys to others.

It was quite an enjoyable tour. I highly recommend it - even for those with low fitness levels would be able to thoroughly enjoy it.

I had a really great time on the tour, the tour guide Colleen was fantastic, she did a great job organising us all and making sure we made the most of the trip. There were plenty of extra 'hidden gems' that she showed us. The tour bus was comfortable, and had wifi which was useful. The driver Angela was also great, we always felt safe and she did a great job of getting us where we needed to go. I learnt a lot about the music of the USA, and found all of the tours very interesting. The food was fantastic at all of the hotel breakfasts, and the dinners were also great! The highlight dinners for me were the cooking school in New Orleans, and the 'Be My Guest' dinner at a pre civil war house. All of the hotels were comfortable and clean, with great service, and very well located close to the main attractions in each city. Airport transfers were very well organised, and are always a very welcome inclusion on a tour. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the tour, and I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends! One thing I can definitely recommend to anyone doing the tour is to make sure you visit a bar in Nashville called Tootsies! There is a bit of queue to get in, but it's definitely the best fun I've had in a music bar. Yvonne from Global Journeys also did a fantastic job, and made making the booking for the tour easy! A very enjoyable and well run tour. The Tour Director was excellent, keen, hard working and knowledgeable. The itinerary was comprehensive and well paced and a lot of accommodation and meals were really excellent. Transfers along the way were very efficient. Opening night welcome cruise was outstanding. Points of critique: drinks at some chosen venues ...read more (both included and optional) were very expensive - would be good if Trafalgar could negotiate better deals as they bring big and consistent business to these establishments; irritating that included transfers at start and end of tour are only usable if arriving and leaving immediately adjacent to tour. Will certainly use Trafalgar again.

This tour exceeded our expectations. We had a fabulous tour guide whose knowledge was astounding. The accommodation was first class most of the way and the food was very good as well.
