Overall a great Tour & our Tour Director Jacqui was extremely amazing with her knowledge of Scandinavia. What was even surprising was that Jacqui is actually from Melbourne. Only a couple of the hotels were average but mainly very,very good quality. Optional excursions were well worthwhile & you were able to choose which ones you wanted to see or do. read more Our first experience with Trafalgar & we will definitely use them again.
We had a fantastic whirlwind tour of Europe. Great company and excellent tour director & driver, and to top it all up, great weather throughout our trip. What more can one want!
We really enjoyed the trip but it was unusually cold for summer, but that's just the luck of things. A bit disappointed with the food for a country with such a high reputation.
Scenic Parks Explorer was excellent. Our tour guide, Cory Frend, was excellent and accommodation was good. We had loads of information from Cory and she was also very helpful. John lost his cap, and she contacted the park where he lost it to have it forwarded onto our hotel in Vegas. Lots to see on this trip, and on the go the whole time. Could have read more had a couple more 2 night stopovers. But on the whole an excellent journey.

Tastes and Sounds of the South

Tastes and Sounds our second tour on this holiday was a more relaxed trip and was very enjoyable. However, I think we were spoilt by Cory our first tour guide, as our guide on this trip was very laid back. More time could have been spent at Graceland, we could have had lunch there, but instead we had to hurry back to Memphis for a group photo. Most read more of us felt this time could have been spent at Graceland. Getting on and off the shuttle at Graceland ate into time spent there also. And the Farewell Dinner while at an absolutely beautiful restaurant, (and the food was excellent) was very rushed. Our guide, at the end, got up from the table, and said it was time to go and for people who were not sure of how to get back to he hotel to follow him. We had no time to say goodbye to fellow travellers, and we were all leaving the next morning. Apart from these two things we did enjoy the journey, and realise that it all depends on who you get as a tour guide. We would travel with Trafalgar again, as we were well looked after. And we met some lovely people on our journeys. We would book with Global Journeys again as you have been very very helpful and very efficient.
The tour covered a lot of ground. We got to see quite a lot. The accommodation was great. Maybe the name should be changed to 'Best of England's West Country' as we spent considerable time in places outside of Devon and Cornwall (e.g. Bath and Bristol), but that was fine by me.

It would have been nice to have a later start on our two night stays. Hotels were very good. Everyone got on very well, it was a large group of 51 on the tour. Our tour director John was very informative. Stu our driver was amazing, he could take a large coach through the tiniest of spaces. My tour consultants were all great apart from one small thing. read more Trafalgar in London didn't know about the change in my flight schedule when I arrived. They were waiting for me at 5.40am, instead of 1.40pm. I had a great trip though and I will be booking with Global Journeys next year.
We were both very impressed with our England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland 16 day trip. Thanks to Michelle for getting our travel pack to us prior to leaving and organising our night before and night after the trip. Very impressed with Anna our tour guide, will take another trip if she is the tour guide, looking to do another trip next year.
We loved this tour. Philip, our Moroccan guide was extremely knowledgeable and took us to some very special places and bought us local delicacies to try. To experience the different cultures was fantastic and the optional tours we did were most enjoyable especially the horse and carriage ride in Marrakesh. Travelers Tip: When you change your money in read more Morocco try and get smaller denominations as it will be easier for tipping.

I believe that the optional 'excursions' should be stated prior to tour booking or at least shown so that the additional costs could be factored in. Additionally with regards to Visas, Trafalgar have been performing this tour for a long time and should inform their clients that no Visas are required at all as the cruise operator arranges the Turkish read more Visa thus obviating the need for the client (me) to arrange these Visa's and pay something around $300 for them when they weren't required. Also some of the coach drives were excessive (greater that 2.5 hours with one of them in excess of 3 hours). This is hard on people especially those on blood pressure meds or suffering with Diabetes (average age of coach passengers (48) was in excess of 50 years old.

Best of Greece with 4-Day Aegean Cruise

The tour was amazing, it deserves its name: 'Best of Greece' as it was quite balanced, the right time and places in the land tour and then a great experience with the cruise that took as to beautiful islands. Amazing holiday, Trafalgar was very well organized and exceeded our expectations.

We had a wonderful holiday. Very well organised, great value for money, great destinations. Our tour guide was a wealth of knowledge and very entertaining.
Have done a few Trafalgar and Insight tours but this one was the best we have ever done, from booking it through Global Journeys, touring with Trafalgar it was so easy and relaxing. Thank you Michelle.
The tour was very well organised and considering how far we travelled (3600+ kms) we always arrived at our next destination on time. We saw and heard so much, there is no way I could've seen so much if I had travelled on my own in that time. Our tour guide, Linda, was very good and she always made sure we had maps of the cities we were visiting which read more really made a difference. There was free time but if you did an optional excursion it did take away some of that time. Should point out that time before or after in New York is a must otherwise you don't see much of the city. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip and would highly recommend!

Firstly, thank you Georgie for your excellent service and for all your help booking this trip, it was very much appreciated. As I travelled on my own, it was so good to know there was someone back home whom I could contact if I needed to! The Trafalgar tour director, Linda, was fantastic and so knowledgeable, and our coach driver, Bill, did an amazing read more job. All the places we visited were really interesting and we got the best out of them considering the small amount of time we spent in each place. I also learnt a lot on this tour about each city we visited. Linda always made sure we had local maps which was a great help for finding my way round and deciding what I wanted to see. I must add that the tour spends very little time in New York and I was so glad I spent a week there before the tour started. I would definitely book with Global Journeys again. Georgie, you took all the stress away for organising such a big holiday! Thank you again!
We were very late in booking our trip but received excellent service from Georgie at Global Journeys who communicated with us very speedily following our inquiries and ensured that all documentation was forwarded to us in time for our departure from Australia some five weeks before the actual tour. On the ground in London our reception before departure read more went without any hitches. Overall the tour was very enjoyable with an excellent and very experienced and informative tour director who did her very best to ensure that value was added to our trip whenever possible. Unfortunately she had no control over the three days of rain in Germany and Switzerland but this did not prevent anyone from enjoying themselves. (Ed. We are working on this! :) Thank you to Linda and our driver for contributing to the enjoyment of our trip. Overall everything went as planned and we even managed some extras along the way. Both my husband and myself would recommend Global Journeys and Trafalgar to our friends and acquaintances.
We would really like to thank Michelle for all her help she certainly made everything easy for us and took care of all the details enabling us to simply sit back and enjoy our holiday. No question was too trivial. I will certainly book with you again in the future and would be very happy to recommend Global Journeys to all our family and friends.
An fabulous tour. The tour guide Stephanie Glass was excellent! We enjoyed the experience very much. We had a great time and would recommend this tour to anybody.
The coach trip to major attractions in Turkey was the first we had ever undertaken. We were agreeably surprised in almost all respects. The tour leader was very professional, the coach extremely comfortable and there was even a butler on board to help with our every need. The quality of accommodation was excellent and the food standard was very satisfactory read more if a little different in minor respects. The sight seeing agenda was well planned and interesting. There were significant crowds at some attractions especially when large cruise ships were in nearby ports but the tour director managed the daily plan to minimise difficulties. The mix of people on the trip in terms of countries of origin was excellent and all were compatible. The agenda did include some visits to commercial outlets with carpets, leather etc. These were interesting and served to break up a menu of trips to historical sites etc. but were not much patronised by the group. If anything, some days were a little too long but not disagreeably so. The weather was generally hot and light weight clothes were the order of the day. The local people were very hospitable and friendly. This holiday gets 9.5 out of 10 from us.

Tour was enjoyable and fun. Accommodation was clean, tidy and generally well situated close to the attractions. The tour guide and bus driver were professional and helpful with plenty of good advice. All good no complaints.
