Amazing tour! 3 , New Zealand, Sep 2024
I would definitely travel with Trafalgar again, well organised and interesting tour taking in all the Italian highlights. Had a great tour director (Sasha) who was accomodating and knowledgeable.
Best Of Italy Trafalgar Tour 5 , New Zealand, Sep 2023
We really enjoyed our 'Best Of Italy' tour with Trafalgar. The tour director and driver were the best, as were the tour guides for the daily and optional excursions. The hotels we stayed in were very good and some were excellent, that is, above the standard we were expecting. Our bus was brand new and kept in immaculate condition throughout the tour. read more There were 44 of us on a 51-seater coach and it was great to meet people from other parts of the world. We all got on very well and made some new friends who we will continue to stay in touch with. While we enjoyed everything we saw, Lake Maggiore and San Gimignano were special places that I wouldn't hesitate to go back to and spend more time at. We did all the optional excursions, and I would recommend doing that, as they provide an opportunity to see much more of the country than would otherwise be possible. This is the third coach tour I have completed while travelling overseas and I have no hesitation in saying that Trafalgar have been the best.
Trafalgar Best of Italy tour. 3 , VIC, Australia, May 2023
Would absolutely recommend the Best of Italy tour. This was my first tour and although I knew it would be good, it exceeded my expectations. We were told it was a popular tour and considering the number of beautiful places you visit and the great accommodation where you stay, you can see why. From the great team including the professional TD and driver read more to the local specialists it was all so well organised. It was so much fun. Special thanks to Georgie for booking my tour with such ease and I look forward to booking another in the near future.
Best of Italy 1 , NSW , Australia, Oct 2022
This was an excellent tour and special thanks to Hannah Campbell for organising a faultless tour. Though we have been to Italy four times before, this tour was most enjoyable, Trafalgar tour director was very well informed, pleasant and compassionate. There was no problem anywhere and it was a smooth journey from beginning to end. Look forward to going read more again with global journey and will be contacting Hannah again shortly.
Best of Italy 3 , Australia, Jun 2022
Had an excellent time on my Best of Italy tour! The tour director (Pamela) was so knowledgeable and a lovely person. The whole group (all Americans except for me from Australia) were a really friendly bunch and we got on so well. Hotels were very nice, maybe one not as good, but all very clean. Lots of optional extras were also available. Tour involved read more a good deal of walking but easily done even if you’re 70+ like me. I would definitely recommend this trip, went to so many amazing places which couldn’t happen on your own.
Our first overseas trip of many to come! 2 , QLD, Australia, Sep 2019
We couldn't be happier with the help, advice and support of Global Journeys - from our initial enquiry emails, right through until it was time to depart. In the preparation time, we had a change of travel consultant, however it was seamless and all of our information and details flowed onto our new consultant. We will definitely recommend booking through read more Global Journeys to family and friends, as it took all the stress out of it for us - as first time travellers! Best of all, Italy and France were everything we had hoped they would be!
All that Italy Has to Offer - Not too Rushed, Not too Slow 1 , VIC, Australia, May 2019
Very happy with the Best of Italy tour that my wife and I did in May, we were concerned about being in a tour for 13 days, but the pace was very manageable with free time. Our Tour Director was just fantastic! That added to our enjoyment, I'm sure. Jodie at Global Journeys was patient and worked with us to ensure that we got the package we wanted and read more kept us up to date with any changes.

Happily recommend Global Journeys and the Best of Italy (Trafalgar) tour to persons interested in a good immersive experience into the Italian way of living. Can suggest keeping a couple of extra days in Rome or to another excursion after the tour to cool it off Italian style before leaving.
Wonderful!! 4 , VIC, Australia, May 2019
Our Tour Director Dominic, wow, what can I say, Knowledgeable, helpful, very funny and approachable. He made this trip a memorable experience. Driver Fabio, very skilled at negotiating the Italian traffic and conditions! Tour was pretty full on, lots of walking. Name tags for fellow travellers would have made it a LOT easier to mingle, I found it read more embarrassing to repeatedly ask someone their name.
Good trip to Italy 4 , QLD, Australia, Apr 2019
Good trip and experience, very knowledgeable Tour Director. The only downside is all the walking especially for a person like me. Maybe the trip should be rated on physical activity from 1 to 5. 5 being the highest and 1 being the lowest. (GJ. Good idea Beverley, it's in development as we speak!)
Good trips 1 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2018
