Winter Italy tour was great 2 , Qld, Australia, Mar 2024
From the time we arrived in Italy, the Trafalgar Group looked after us like VIPs, our flight was delayed into Rome, however their team stayed back 15 min to transfer us to the hotel. The optional experiences are good value, created great memories of our trip to Italy.
Very interesting, lots of information and a fun group!   2 , VIC, Australia, Dec 2014
We loved that our tour director spontaneously took us over the boarder from Lake Como to Switzerland. Not a part of the tour but was a great experience. The tours were generally very interesting but some did feel a little rushed. Need more time in Florence, would love to have another full day on our own to explore.

Happy we arrived into Rome two read more days earlier to just walk around, the tour didn't give enough time in Rome.
The accommodation was very good, except in Rome (too far from centre) and Florence also a bit far. Otherwise a great trip.
Best trip so far 2 , NSW, Australia, Dec 2014
Best trip so far, whole family were entertained including children, local travel advisers were exceptional, especially Gianmarco. Some families in our tour have already travelled with Trafalgar 4 times. Will definitely travel Trafalgar again.
Very good but the group was too large 2 , VIC, Australia, Dec 2014
The tour itself was very good but the group was too large (50 People). The tour guide was excellent but some of the places were not great for winter time. We needed more time in Florence (at least another day) and would have loved one night in Verona, only 2 hours. No need to sleep in Assisi, few hours would have been sufficient as we got their too read more late and didn't see enough and left early the next morning. The hotel in Sorrento was too old and not great location. The dinner there was terrible.
Excellent tour 1 , NSW, Australia, Nov 2014
Excellent tour, the best Tour Director and Coach Driver. We would highly recommend it. We and most of our fellow travelers joined all or most of the optional tours. It was a large additional expense (approx $1,400) and we would prefer some or most to be added to the tour cost when booking.
Loved, loved, loved all of it 1 , Australia, Dec 2013
Loved, loved, loved all of it. Everyone we dealt with was so friendly and helpful - very unusual these days!! The assistance with the booking of our trip was more than excellent; given that my husband and I changed our mind about which trip a number of times. Nothing was too much trouble. Our tour was the best ever. Federica & Salvatore (tour guide read more and driver) were simply amazing. The people on our tour were such lovely, fun, friendly people. Can not believe our trip is already over but never fear we will be in contact to arrange our next one very soon :-)
An unforgettable experience for all three of us! 3 , Australia, Jan 2013
'Best of Italy' by Trafalgar was indeed the best of the best for experiencing every bit of Italy, especially for the first timers like us! Not only it included gems of Italy, but of hidden treasures of Italy as part of optional excursions at a very affordable price. Global Journeys was the only travel agent in Australia, offering such a package in January read more (Winter) and my tour consultant, Frances was also able to tailor flights and other travel needs to suit us and attended to many of our inquiry professionally and kindly. It was just an unforgettable experience for all three of us!
Far exceeded my expectations of a coach tour 1 , Australia, Dec 2012
This tour far exceeded my expectations of a 'coach tour'. Would do another Trafalgar tour without hesitation. The guide we had, made the whole experience a pleasure. The help I received from Global Journeys was excellent and we would also book with Frances again.
Wonderful time, great atmosphere 1 , Australia, Dec 2012
Had a wonderful time, great atmosphere. Our Tour Director, Maria, was wonderful, polite, friendly and always there to help. She also had an amazing amount of knowledge of every where we went. This was our first organized trip and we would highly recommend it.
