Good trip.   3 , VIC, Australia, Jul 2019
We enjoyed our East Coast tour although it was very tiring as we did this after a two week West Coast tour. We saw plenty and the highlight was definitely Niagara Falls. This was a reasonably small group of 25 people. There were some long days and it was very hot as the US had heatwaves while we were there. Our tour director and driver were good. Booking ...read more with Global Journeys was easy and would definitely use them again.
Relaxing Canadian holiday   2 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2019
Travelling with Trafalgar was great, safe, enjoyable and educational. We had 52 in our group from various countries. We made new friends and shared many stories and it felt like having a big family. Our Tour Director Ben Coute was very very good. Very knowledgeable, helpful, well organised. The coach driver Josehe drove us safely.
Fantastic tour of East Coast USA and Canada 6 , VIC, Australia, Apr 2019
For us the tour was very comprehensive and extremely well constructed. The tour director Ben Conti had an incredible general knowledge of the areas we visited and also had the ability to disseminate information in a very interesting way. The driver, Jose, was extremely careful and no one was ever worried about his driving.

For us the whole trip ...read more was a highlight and we all got on really well and enjoyed each others company. If pressed for highlights, we would include America's stately capital, Washington, the awe-inspiring Niagara Falls, the incredibly beautiful Quebec City and historical Boston. But to be fair, the highlight was the whole trip itself.

The hotels we stayed at were of a high standard and, importantly, were always centrally located. This allowed us to make the most of the free time we sometimes had to further explore each city we visited. For what we got, we believe that the whole tour was well-priced and certainly value for money.
US East coast and Canada   11 , New Zealand, Oct 2017
Wow what a fantastic trip and the group we travelled with were a lot of fun. The tour director(Ben Conte) was top class and kept us entertained with his great stories. Timing was perfect in early October (fall) as the colour of the trees were spectacular. We spent additional time in New York before the trip which was highly recommended. We loved ...read more the vibe and the pre tour trip out to the statue of liberty was a great icebreaker.

All the destinations had something to offer though Niagara falls was amazing, particularly the optional helicopter flight. We loved the history and character of Quebec City and would have loved to spend more time there and for those who love museums and monuments you cant beat Washington, what a great place to visit.

Overall the trip went very smoothly and just flew by. We were sorry to see it end and we are already thinking about other places we can visit with Trafalgar. Thanks for a great trip and the fond memories.
A brilliant East Coast USA and Canada adventure that did not disappoint ...   17 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2017
I’d never been to the East Coast of America/Canada before and this tour provided a brilliant introduction into the area. The itinerary was comprehensive yet varied with new experiences each day and plenty of scheduled rest stops along the way to ensure the daily journey with 45 other fellow travellers was not an arduous one.

Trafalgar TD (Dave S.) ...read more and our driver (Jose) worked as a well oiled team and were organised, always on time and a great source of knowledge regarding many aspects of each region visited. The addition of local guides (with audio headset walking tours) in various towns added to the experience where tips on where to eat/buy was always welcome. Seat rotation on the coach and a daily schedule “what’s coming up” sheet, kept us informed of departure, arrival and meal points not to mention the all important “bags out” time for the next morning.

Washington D.C was a highlight for me with the monuments/museums as well as the natural beauty of Niagara Falls and the contrasting quaint French influence evident in Quebec City and Montreal. The city of New York lived up to its fast and furious reputation with an orientation tour on the coach as we were heading out of town to the next hotel. Hence I would recommend perhaps getting to NY at least 3 to 5 days before the tour start date, to visit those iconic tourist spots we often only see on TV.

The hotels were well located and within walking distance of most attractions with comfortable rooms, free WiFi and all the mod-cons. I did all the optional tours which included some lovely dinners and a brilliant night tour of Washington which should not be missed. The optional helicopter ride over Niagara Falls looked a tad exorbitant at first, but the amazing flight and sensational photos taken from the air made up for an unforgettable experience.

Can’t speak highly enough of Juliet Scott from Global Journeys who organised all my pre-travel bookings, had plenty of helpful suggestions and was always accommodating towards any changes that came up on my time-line, which was much appreciated !

All in all a great travel journey with a friendly group of people sharing a common goal of soaking up the culture in a new-found part of the world. At least half the group had been on a Trafalgar Tour before (up to 8 times) being testament on how brilliantly this type of travel concept works as I have pleasantly discovered and hope to again in the not too distant future?
Just sit back and enjoy! 6 , NSW, Australia, Jun 2017
This is my third (my husband's first) Trafalgar tour and as usual the quality of the overall tour was terrific. Our tour director Diego was very informative and helpful and Jose was an excellent driver. A great team indeed, which allowed us to completely relax and enjoy the sights and experiences knowing we were well looked after. We also enjoyed the ...read more company of our fellow travellers from Australia, New Zealand and the USA. The tour was well paced and overall well balanced. We would never have covered the distances stress free had we hired a car and travelled on our own. Especially driving on the other side of the road! We would highly recommend this tour.
