We have never seen such scenic splendor. The tour was extremely comprehensive and enabled us to experience a range of panoramic locations and exciting cities. Thoroughly recommend both the tour and Global Journeys professionalism.
Would recommend this trip to anyone but you need to be fit 1

The scenery was superb, tour guide was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Our coach driver was exceptional, would recommend this trip to anyone but you need to be fit. Coach was very comfortable but would have liked to spend more time in places.

Trafalgar tour director and coach driver were very professional and well versed in their trade ensuring that our tour ran like clockwork. Destinations visited were all thoroughly enjoyed and as always there were some we wished we had more time in e.g Oxford, Liverpool and Dublin. A good mix of free time and organised activities ensured time ticked by read more quickly despite some long days on the coach. Overall an enjoyable tour which is recommended for those who like hassle free touring and organised activities. The overall enjoyment of the total package was made significantly enhanced by the competent friendly and professional service provided to us by our tour consultant Michelle White from Global Journeys. Thanks again Michelle.
We had a wonderful time; our tour guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. Our driver was excellent, always helpful and polite. As for the tour, we felt that some of the optional excursions should be included into the package. We had to fork out an additional 500 Euros for both of us to join the optional excursions. We really felt that the night read more cruise on the river Seine should be part of the package as well as the tour of Versailles palace. Hotels were mostly modern and clean which was much appreciated. However breakfast at Renaissance Hotel in Paris was not up to par considering it is rated 4*. Croissants offered didn't taste fresh, no choice of bread just some cut up baguette. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and made some good friends with our fellow travellers.
Good points: Fantastic tour director, great knowledge and passion for her country, great sense of humour and organisational ability under stress. Excellent accommodation, tour excursions etc. Not so good points: Too much time allocated for 'shopping', most of the tour members were older folk who like us did not really appreciate this. First driver read more while obviously skilled in low speed situations had an annoying habit of 'sawing' at the steering on the highway. Conclusion: This tour is a better proposition for younger/more mobile folk than older less mobile clients.

Too many highlights to narrow my comments down to a few words. The whole tour was excellent from start to finish. Our Consultant, Yvonne Brooks, was very efficient and did a great job. The tour director and coach driver were both absolutely excellent and extremely knowledgeable. I don't have any negative comments that I could make. I am very happy read more to have done this tour, with the help and organisation of Global Journeys.

We had a very good time, the accommodation, dinning and overall experience was exceptional.
A wonderful experience but it involved long days of travelling with many days of 6-10 hours in coach. As I did all the optional excursions this allowed no quiet down time and continuous days of early wake ups became tiring. Two days only in Portugal was disappointing but the tour of Spain and Morocco was very good. My dietary requirements of requiring read more gluten free food was largely catered for in most places but some of the roadside lunch stops didn't have anything I could eat so I took to packing my own lunch at breakfast time to get around this issue. In Morocco the hotels had I provision for gluten free bread. I would recommend this tour if it was a more leisurely pace. If you fall or ( catch a cold or sprain an ankle like I did) the pace was relentless. Overall I did enjoy myself and I am glad I picked this tour.

Amazing Britain

The tour was really enjoyable. The Tour guide (James Payne) and the coach driver (Paul) were great. James went out of his way to make sure that we experienced everything about each stop on the way, and things were very well organized. He was very passionate about his county and made things interesting and at the same time fun. We would not hesitate read more to go on another tour in the future.

I had a great holiday the hotels & inclusions far surpassed my expectations. Travelling alone can be daunting but at all times I felt included with the group. I did not have too many expectations of any particular city but I loved Washington, the monuments, buildings & gardens were fantastic. I find myself thinking about the Amish way of life & will read more continue to do so for some time so they have made a lasting impression. Toronto to me was just another big city but I loved Quebec, it was like a little part of Europe. The included dinners were all special & appreciated in their own way. I went on the Night tour in Washington, the Toronto night cruise, the tour of the vineyard & dinner in Quebec & the tour of Harvard & consider them all to be of excellent value. I consider that our guide Diego played a large part in me having such a good holiday for he was kind & considerate to all members of the group at the same time being informative & at times funny. Bill our driver was lovely & we all felt safe & secure in his hands. Trafalgar will definitely be included when I next look for a holiday.

Tour was well-organised, comfortable and excellent itinerary. It was a pleasure to deal with Georgie Walpole of Global Journeys who handled our booking. She was always available to communicate with by telephone or email and very prompt to respond to queries and requests.

Overall, we really enjoyed the experience. The disappointments were that we did not have enough time to stop longer at the Ring of Kerry. I was extremely disappointed that I had traveled so far to see it, and saw it mostly by coach taking photos from the coach! Way too many stops at souvenir shops! We would pass lovely little villages, only to stop read more at a designated souvenir shop, it made me somewhat suspicious of the motives behind the stops. Otherwise, the hotels were great except for the Wexford in Ireland. Trafalgar really need to look at getting a better hotel for their guests. The hotel at Wexford was barely 3 star! Our coach driver was friendly and fun. Our Tour Director was a bit of a serious character. He has been doing the job for a very long time and is extremely knowledgeable but he is a old fashioned with his taste in music on the coach. It became monotonous! He also tended to repeat himself too many times. I think that it would be nice for the tour director and bus driver to be able to join us for the included dinners. Most of us really did not like to see them sitting away from us, when they were free from their duties and able to eat. The planning behind the tour is exceptional. Georgie was just so helpful and professional. I would not hesitate to book through her again. Thank you for this opportunity.

An excellent way to gain an overview of Europe. The location of all our hotels allowed us to explore the city on foot which was great. The optional excursions added to our appreciation of the various countries we visited. Put simply this was a wonderful experience. Thank you Yvonne for your help and guidance through the organizing and booking of this read more tour. We left Australia comfortable in the knowledge that we were about to join a tour fully briefed and with all our travel arrangements in place.
This tour exceeded our expectations. Our Tour Director Patrick Sidney and Coach Driver Andreas were the most amazing people. Their professionalism, courtesy and knowledge was incredible and they made the tour all the more amazing. The tour took us to so many amazing places and although we did all the optionals we still had time for shopping and discovering read more the towns. I would certainly recommend this tour for anyone wishing to see Europe. Booking with Global Journeys provided a hasslefree experience with all our questions answered, so thank you Yvonne Brooks for helping with our booking, we would definitely book thru Global again.

We have been on a few tours and would have to say that Bern was one of the best Tour Guides we have had. She made us excited about all our destinations and was a wealth of information and assisted everyone with any problems. I would recommend Trafalgar to our friends and would definitely book again. Our only disappointment was the Capthorne in London read more the night before we left. We asked for double and got twins, the room was very worn and then we had a breakfast bag as we were leaving early. I could of had a weeks holiday for the amount we paid for a 2 star experience. Besides that we love the trip and would book again with Trafalgar but would stay elsewhere the night before and get there by taxi for the departure.
Everything went very well, just some of the hotel amenities in various locations lacked from regular maintenance. The food and the optional experiences were excellent.

We had a very good trip everything went very well and would recommend your company to our family and friends. Trafalgar Tours were very good and everything was very well organised. Many thanks again Yvonne for your help in organising the whole tour. Our relations also enjoyed the trip as at certain areas the tour guides gave them earphones and it read more was translated in German for them.
Fast paced and full of highlights. Very good accommodation and food. Tour a director and Drivers were excellent as was the tour group.
