UK in a hurry (Trafalgar - Britain and Ireland Grandeur) 0 , QLD, Australia, Sep 2023
The tour was all encompassing perhaps too much. There was a lot of bus travel days where you didn't get to your accommodation until 6pm or later and then it was get ready for dinner. Some days where you finished at 4 especially if you were walking distance to city would have been nice. But overall, Trafalgar are great to travel with, very organised, ...read more take you to mostly the right places. Hotels are comfortable, meals are good but I would suggest you don't need to do all of the "optional" extras. Hannah from Global was excellent in all her organizing skills as per normal. Hannah was a great help to us in a previous booking which got cancelled because of Covid. She fought very hard in getting all our money back instead of credits which was fantastic.
Britian Grandeur Tour 2 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2023
Once again Trafalgar turned it on again with a wonderful 20 day tour of Britian, Ireland and Scotland with the opportunity to attend the Edinburgh Tattoo on the way. Our Tour Director Joel and Coach Driver Dave were outstanding. There were many outstanding highlights far too many to list and the optional extras were excellent and well organised. Our ...read more thanks must go to our consultant Hannah for the work she put into organising this trip for us.
Not everything I wanted to see but close 10 , Australia, Oct 2019
I enjoyed the tour and met some great people. I experienced areas of England, Scotland and Ireland that I would have struggled to see alone. I have a much greater appreciation of the country and its peoples. Loved seeing Ireland especially Northern Ireland and meeting locals who walked us through ‘the worries’. Perhaps a longer stay in Wales might have ...read more been the icing on the cake. Generally the accommodation was great with only two hotels not being of the same standard. Those huge English breakfasts were sustaining. The extras I participated in were great, especially the night in the Dartmoors. I consider the trip was good value and I estimate it would have cost me more if I attempted to do it independently. Glad I did an extra few days before and after the tour and visited the areas more local to London.
Loved this tour of England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales 10 , VIC, Australia, Jul 2019
Absolutely loved this tour. Our Tour Director Dan, was amazing. The added extras he included along the way from a ditty to local food just added to the already amazing trip. Dan's knowledge of the country/area we were visiting was extremely informative.
Well cared for during my UK tour   4 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2019
Not only did I get an unbeatable quote for a coach tour throughout Great Britain and Ireland, I received help with suggested dates to fly before and after the tour and reminders such as obtaining travel insurance. Thank you Global Journeys. I want you involved in my next trip to Europe.
Great trip through Britain & Ireland 7 , QLD, Australia, Jun 2019
This was a great trip. We booked with Jemma and everything flowed very smoothly. The tour was full on but we expected that and saw some amazing scenery and historical sights. Our tour guide, Kevin, was amazing, going out of his way to ensure we saw as much as we could and provided lots of extras along the way. My husband was very keen to see the Falkirk ...read more Wheel and was not disappointed. There were many highlights on the trip, I particularly like Scotland, rugged but beautiful. We did most of the optional excursions and enjoyed them.
