Fantastic Britain and Ireland Grandeur Tour 1 , QLD, Australia, May 2025
Our Britain and Ireland Grandeur tour was fantastic. The tour guide was the best we've ever had. He was friendly, approachable, helpful, very well organised and had a very good knowledge of all the many places we visited as well as the history of the local area. The driver was fantastic too as she was friendly, helpful, safe and very capable She read more had a good relationship with the tour director and all of the local specialists that came along, taking us to many places that were pretty challenging to drive a coach. The local specialists were all very good too and gave interesting insights into their local area. Even though the tour was fast paced there was always enough time to look around the places we visited, have a coffee or a meal, do a bit of shopping or have a chat with the locals as well as visit the rest rooms. The optional experiences were all worthwhile and added greatly to the overall experience. We have no hesitation in recommending this tour to anyone who wants to get a good overview of the UK and Ireland.
Amazing tour of the UK. 2 , VIC, Australia, Jun 2024
We had a wonderful time on this tour. We saw many wonderful places. The tour guide provided detailed information and everything went smoothly. We would definitely recommend this tour to everyone.
UK in a hurry (Trafalgar - Britain and Ireland Grandeur) 2 , QLD, Australia, Sep 2023
The tour was all encompassing perhaps too much. There was a lot of bus travel days where you didn't get to your accommodation until 6pm or later and then it was get ready for dinner. Some days where you finished at 4 especially if you were walking distance to city would have been nice. But overall, Trafalgar are great to travel with, very organised, read more take you to mostly the right places. Hotels are comfortable, meals are good but I would suggest you don't need to do all of the "optional" extras. Hannah from Global was excellent in all her organizing skills as per normal. Hannah was a great help to us in a previous booking which got cancelled because of Covid. She fought very hard in getting all our money back instead of credits which was fantastic.
Britian Grandeur Tour 4 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2023
Once again Trafalgar turned it on again with a wonderful 20 day tour of Britian, Ireland and Scotland with the opportunity to attend the Edinburgh Tattoo on the way. Our Tour Director Joel and Coach Driver Dave were outstanding. There were many outstanding highlights far too many to list and the optional extras were excellent and well organised. Our read more thanks must go to our consultant Hannah for the work she put into organising this trip for us.
Not everything I wanted to see but close 12 , Australia, Oct 2019
I enjoyed the tour and met some great people. I experienced areas of England, Scotland and Ireland that I would have struggled to see alone. I have a much greater appreciation of the country and its peoples. Loved seeing Ireland especially Northern Ireland and meeting locals who walked us through ‘the worries’. Perhaps a longer stay in Wales might have read more been the icing on the cake. Generally the accommodation was great with only two hotels not being of the same standard. Those huge English breakfasts were sustaining. The extras I participated in were great, especially the night in the Dartmoors. I consider the trip was good value and I estimate it would have cost me more if I attempted to do it independently. Glad I did an extra few days before and after the tour and visited the areas more local to London.
Loved this tour of England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales 11 , VIC, Australia, Jul 2019
Absolutely loved this tour. Our Tour Director Dan, was amazing. The added extras he included along the way from a ditty to local food just added to the already amazing trip. Dan's knowledge of the country/area we were visiting was extremely informative.
