Helsinki is yours to stroll through at leisure. Enjoy Finland's quaint capital or take the opportunity to cruise across the Baltic Sea on an Optional Experience to Estonia, where you will visit Tallinn, its fairytale capital city. Take in the panoramic views from Toompea Hill before exploring the market square, home to a historic pharmacy and the iconic Town Hall. Enjoy time at leisure this afternoon to browse Tallinn's shops, famous for fine amber and silver jewellery before returning to Helsinki.
Explore Helsinki, the trendsetting city of top fashion and design, alongside a Local Expert. Wander through the aromatic stalls of a traditional food market and sample local produce like liquorice or smoked reindeer.
This afternoon, board your cruise ship for the overnight voyage to Sweden. Take in the breathtakingly beautiful scenery from the comfort of your A-Class, sea-view cabin while the northern sun hangs over the horizon as you enjoy dinner on board.
Disembark your Baltic cruise and explore Stockholm with a Local Expert, visit the imposing City Hall with its impressive Gyllene salen, the Golden Hall, covered with 18 million gilded mosaic tiles and the Blå hallen, the Blue Hall, the venue for the Nobel Prize banquets. Journey past Lake Vänern, the largest lake in Sweden and enjoy a scenic drive through Norway's lush forest landscapes to Oslo, Norway's fascinating capital.
Sightseeing with a Local Expert includes views of Akershus Castle and the Royal Palace. Walk around the Opera House and marvel at the striking contemporary architecture of the new Bjørvika district. Wander through Frogner Park, with its intriguing sculptures by Gustav Vigeland.
The afternoon is at your leisure to continue exploring as you wish. Perhaps join an Optional Experience to the world's most modern ski jump, Holmenkollen, or visit the legendary polar ship Fram, the world's strongest wooden vessel, and step into the lives of Norway's renowned Arctic explorers. Maybe explore City Hall where the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony is held or admire the artwork in the National Gallery.
Journey south through the Nordic countries from Oslo to Denmark taking in the lush scenery along the route. Stop in the city of Gothenburg before boarding the ferry for a short cruise to Denmark. Enjoy a view of Kronborg Castle, reputedly the Elsinore home of Hamlet, as you enter the Kingdom of Denmark and continue onwards to Copenhagen.
Upon arrival, experience the magic of Tivoli Gardens, one of the world's oldest amusement parks and a beloved Danish landmark.
Explore Copenhagen with a Local Expert, taking in the sights of Denmark's capital, including Christiansborg Palace, seat of the Danish Government, Rosenborg Castle, Nyhavn, and Amalienborg Palace, home of the royal family. Visit the waterfront to admire Hans Christian Andersen's Little Mermaid gazing across the harbour. Stroll through the old town and admire the colourful houses, charming squares, and Copenhagen's 18th-century cathedral, designed by Christian Frederik Hansen. This cathedral is where King Frederik X of Denmark married Queen Mary and is renowned for its neoclassical architecture.
The rest of the day is at your leisure. In the evening, join a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience at a hand-picked restaurant and enjoy a delicious dinner prepared with sustainable ingredients, as you toast to the end of your Scandinavian adventure.

- Helsinki: Your Local Specialist will show you the sights of the harbour city. Wander through the aromatic stalls of a traditional food market and sample local produce like liquorice or smoked reindeer before enjoying free time to explore the harbour of this fascinating city of design.
- Stockholm: Visit Stockholm City Hall, completed in the early 20th century in National Romantic style. You'll step into the brick-built Blue Hall, site of the Nobel Banquet, then continue to the Golden Hall, where mosaics made from glass and gold leaf depict episodes from Swedish history and mythology.
- Stockholm (Solna): Explore Stockholm with your Local Specialist, moving from Gamla Stan, where many streets and buildings date from the 13th–17th centuries, to later civic and waterfront districts. You'll see Stockholm Cathedral and view a capital planned across 14 islands, established as Sweden's political centre from the 17th century.
- Oslo: Explore Oslo with your Local Specialist, viewing the 19th-century Royal Palace and the medieval Akershus fortress that guarded the harbour. Continue through the city centre to see Karl Johans gate and the Stortinget Parliament building before reaching the Opera House and Bjørvika waterfront, where former docklands have been redeveloped into a cultural district.
- Oslo: Visit Frogner Park to see Gustav Vigeland's permanent sculpture installation, with more than 200 bronze and granite works arranged along bridges, terraces and the Monolith plateau.
- Copenhagen: With a Local Specialist, witness the regal interior of Christiansborg Palace, with its stunning tapestries, furnishings and decor.
- Copenhagen: Join your Local Specialist to understand the city through its key sites, from the Little Mermaid statue on the harbourfront to Christiansborg Palace, seat of the Danish parliament. You'll view Rosenborg Castle, Amalienborg Palace and walk the 17th-century Nyhavn waterfront
- Copenhagen: Visit Tivoli Gardens, opened in 1843 as a public pleasure garden beside Copenhagen's central station. Walk the landscaped paths between pavilions, theatres and restaurants and see historic rides, including one of the world's oldest wooden roller coasters, still operating with a brakeman on board.
- Helsinki: Wander through the aromatic stalls of a traditional food market with your Local Specialist and sample local produce, like liquorice or smoked reindeer.
