Pick this style of trip if you like to have free time to do what you want to do as well as spend time with a group when you want. Don't pick this trip if you like your luggage picked up at the front of your hotel door and having everything arranged and scheduled for you. I loved every moment of this trip.

The accommodation was very comfortable and well located. However, Lake Maggiore was the only one with aircon. Because of traffic noise or ground floor position it wasn't appropriate to leave the window open at night, so the rooms were hot which made sleeping difficult.
