Relaxing trip on the Indian-Pacific The Indian Pacific - Perth To Sydney , NSW, Australia, Jul 2025
This was a great way to unwind after a physically demanding trip around the Kimberley. The single cabin is small but comfortable and well-designed. The food was outstanding, the off-train excursions were fun, and there was plenty of time to sit and watch the scenery go by. Tracey was great with the booking and always answered any queries in a timely read more manner - taking all the hassle out of organizing the trip.
Excellent trip so pleased we did it! The Ghan - Adelaide To Alice Springs , United Kingdom, Jul 2025
A brilliant journey across Australia. We went as far as Alice Springs (which was enough for us as we didn't sleep particularly well on the train), food, drinks and service were excellent. We would highly recommend this.
Most fun ever getting from Darwin to Adelaide The Ghan Expedition , NSW, Australia, Jun 2025
Absolute no-hassle short break. Usual great service from Global Journeys, and excellent from Journey Beyond as well. From the pickup at the hotel and transfer to the rail terminal, where there was a great breakfast spread and live music while we waited to board to the drop off at the Adelaide terminal, everything was laid on and everyone was friendly read more and helpful. All of the off-train experiences were top-notch and the food, both on train and during excursion was excellent. The single sleeper was well designed but I wouldn't recommend it to tall people. I fitted very comfortably but I am also only just over 160cm tall. I would have no hesitations traveling with Journey Beyond again - Indian Pacific next!
Four days on a Train The Indian Pacific - Sydney To Perth , QLD, Australia, May 2025
A marvelous experience overall; train accommodation and food/service was superb all the way. Some (very) bumpy sections - rail/ballast replacement a must - and numerous long dead stops for passing traffic delayed progress. A marvelous way to see just how big Australia really is. WiFi coverage very patchy - a good thing in many ways to allow us to disconnect read more from technology and connect with people, but I doubt teenagers would see it that way. They would have to start talking to their parents - a horrible concept for both parties. The last night open-air dinner for 200 was special - tables right alongside the train, and a big starry sky. Incredible big finish to a wonderful adventure.
