Worry free holiday from Sydney to Melbourne   , East Sussex, United Kingdom, Nov 2017
Thoroughly enjoyed this trip, Especially the visit to Craig's sheep farm. The meal he put on for us and his talk on sheep rounding up and shearing were great and the place had a pleasant welcoming, homely feel. Immersing ourselves in the history of Ned Kelly and his gang as we visited the places where his story took place really made us feel the harshness ...read more of the times when they lived and how injustice could soon turn to tragedy. Unfortunately, heavy rain in Melbourne dampened the last day of the trip curtailing excursions but then we can't order the weather. Travelling by coach certainly teaches you the distances and nature of the terrain journeyed over.
Worthwhile   , Canada, Feb 2017
Great trip overall. Great tour director, Paul Cotterill. Had a fun time visiting the various beach destinations and the in-between sites. I am just disappointed with the Novotel in Cairns where the cleanliness of the pool was not at par and room housekeeping was extremely disappointing (no vacuuming or mopping for three days, tea cups and glasses ...read more not washed).
Terrific trip!   , Australia, Nov 2015
Thank you Georgie for once again organising our holiday so successfully. Our bus tour with AAT Kings from Sydney to Cairns was a terrific trip! Our fellow travellers were so friendly and we had a wonderful time together, there were 8 Australians and 20 Internationals. The highlights were the Great Barrier Reef, Fraser Island, Daydream Island and Mission ...read more Beach, to name a few. It was so nice to see another section of our diverse country, we saw a working cattle station, cane fields, banana & pineapple plantations, tropical rainforests and so much more. We hope we can see another slice of our great country in the not too distant future, and we would certainly book again with Global Journeys!
Overall a fantastic holiday   , NZ, New Zealand, Sep 2015
We did have a problem with the documents. Some confusion over who had them. James our tour director found them and had them sent on to Melbourne. The B&B was a great idea. The very long bus day was too long and uncomfortable. It would have been better to stay somewhere else on route as everyone liked the small towns better than the cities. The Adelaide ...read more hotel was horrid, the rooms were stuffy and very hot. The desk said they were having trouble with the air conditioning but never fixed it or offered new rooms so it was a poor ending to a great holiday. Overall a fantastic holiday.
