What our clients are saying about their Red Centre and Top End journeys
Wonderful Red Centre Experience   Outback Contrasts , VIC, Australia, Jun 2026
AAT Kings itinerary for this outback tour was thoughtfully planned. There were many opportunities to learn about Aboriginal culture and view spectacular scenery. We enjoyed getting to know our fellow travellers. Having some evenings free to dine without the group was appreciated. Highlights included "Under a Desert Moon", Field of Light Sunrise and read more Uluru Barbecue with star gazing. Walks along the creek bed at Kings Canyon, Kata Tjuta exploration, around base of Uluru and at Simpsons Gap provided ample photo opportunities. Accommodation at the three resorts was spacious and meals high quality.
Bus drivers/tour guides all knowledgeable. Perfect weather in early June for travel with warm days and no rain.
Fantastic APT trip through The Kimberley & The Top End Kimberley and Top End , New Zealand, Jun 2026
We booked our APT Tour using Global Journeys (Hannah). We had a fantastic time 10/10. 100% met (or actually exceeded) our expectations. Booking process was easy and Hannah helped us manage the process smoothly and always replied quickly to our queries. Trip itself was holiday of a lifetime. 20 of us in the group and we all became 'mates' very quickly. read more Driver / Tour guide Leigh was totally amazing, great personality, unbelievable knowledge and organised everything perfectly.

Highlights?? there are too many to mention, but helicopter ride over the Bunge Bungles would be in the top five. Walk to Mitchell Falls, tour through Arnhem Land / Kakadu National Park, huge selection of Aboriginal rock art to view, Emma Groge walk, numerous amazing swimming spots such as Zebedee Springs are just a few that come to mind. Accommodation at APT Wilderness Lodges (ensuite glamping) and the cuisine we were served was also another definite highlight. Only downside is that, due to the distances that need to be covered, we spent an average of five hours on the (very comfortable, with Starlink) 4WD bus and also this meant lots of early starts each day eg. breakfast at 6am for 6.45am departure. As long as you can handle this I say go for it, you will NOT be disappointed.
Amazing service from Global Journeys and a wonderful trip with Outback Spirit across remote Arnhem Land   Arnhem Land Wetlands & Wildlife , VIC, Australia, May 2026
I booked an Outback Spirit tour of Arnhem Land through Hannah at Global Journeys. Hannah was unbelievably helpful from my first inquiry right up to the day before I left home. She answered all of my questions and reassured me that my camera gear would be allowed on the flights. Just a few days before leaving home I heard that Outback Spirit had changed read more the travel arrangements from overland between locations to light plane flights. This was not what I'd booked or what I wanted. Hannah listened to my concerns and arranged a long call from Outback Spirit. They explained the roads were impassable and would be for a few weeks, so the change was necessary. After the call Hannah was genuinely interested to see if I was happy to proceed with the amended tour.

The tour itself was amazing. I loved everything! The accommodation was excellent from remote glamping to luxury resorts. The food was first class with lots of choice. The knowlegable guides gave everyone personal service with a smile. It was such a privelege to spend so much time with the indigenous guides as they shared their connection to country with us. The landscapes were truly stunning and the rock art just WOW!!! The boat trips, the wildlife, the company, and the flights were an unexpected but very interesting way to view the landscapes. Here's my image of first light hitting the Arafura Swamp near Murwangi.
APT Central Australia Escape   Central Australia Escape , QLD, Australia, Apr 2026
This tour was from Uluru to Alice Springs over 7 days. Our tour guide/driver, Geery was an amazing guy whose knowledge and lifetime experience in the area gave us an insight into life in the region. Uluru was one place I have always wanted to visit and getting up close to the rock was a great experience. Accommodation and the meals at Sails was superb. read more We then had a couple of days at Kings Canyon before moving onto Alice and spending the day walking through the MacDonnell Ranges. Great experience walking into Simpson's Gap and Standley Chasm. Our last night was spent at the Outback Bush BBQ, a great way to end the tour. Thank you to Hannah from Global Journeys for organising this tour for me.
Ghan train   The Ghan Expedition , QLD, Australia, Mar 2026
Our holiday on the Ghan was wonderful. The staff on the train were fantastic and I would give them 10 out of 10. My family and I were in carriage C1 and C2. Hannah is lovely and nothing is too much trouble for her to deal with. I have booked through her before, and definitely will again.
Great trip. Amazing sights and wildlife Sydney Roundtrip: Australia's Greatest Hits , TX, United States, Feb 2026
This was an amazing trip. We saw great landscapes and wildlife. Since it was a combination trip, we had 2 different CEOs but the were both amazing. A note to those doing the Red Centre, the accommodations are tented sites with no electricity in the tents and quite a walk to the restrooms/ showers. Had I fully understood this, I probably would have taken an alternative trip.
