The Ultimate Italy tour was a fabulous 14 days spent with a great group and led by a charismatic and knowledgeable CEO, Silvia. The itinerary - from Rome to Venice - was spaced well with at least 2 nights spent in each accommodation. As is noted, you need to carry your own luggage so backpacks proved preferable over having to carry suitcases. My dealings read more with Global Journeys were very professional with prompt and accurate information provided, and very friendly and efficient staff. Would definitely consider another G Adventure trip, and will use Global Journeys again.
Fantastic Ultimate Italy 3 , New Zealand, Jun 2019
Fantastic trip. The perfect itinerary for seeing Italy. Lots of free time to make sure that I could schedule in the things I wanted to see the most. I paired this tour with G Adventures' Local Living Sorrento to get a good overview of Italy. The only thing to suggest is to pack lightly, G Adventures uses local transport so you will be carrying your read more own luggage up stairs.

Pick this style of trip if you like to have free time to do what you want to do as well as spend time with a group when you want. Don't pick this trip if you like your luggage picked up at the front of your hotel door and having everything arranged and scheduled for you. I loved every moment of this trip.
Ultimate Italy 3 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2018
Ultimate Italy was an excellent small group tour and our third trip with G Adventures. We had a great time, our CEO Chiara was a beautiful person full of energy and enthusiasm. We mostly had enough time to see or do everything we wanted, more than one night stay makes a difference. Wendy and I recommend this trip and we found Global Journeys helpful as well. Just do it!
