This is a great itinerary if you have never been to the UK and want an introduction to the main sights. A fast pace but you see so much and have an absolute blast! Also thank you Michelle for all your help in booking my trip - I will definitely use Global Journeys again!!

As the name says, we saw the highlights, but all was just wonderful. Gives a taste so will come back with allowing a longer tour. The countryside was always postcard perfect and photo opportunities everywhere. A great trip.

Well paced tour. Only real criticism was that the accommodation was generally out of the main town, reducing the ability to do a bit of exploring.
Would definitely book with Global Journeys again, Georgie made our trip hassle free, and was extremely accommodating and patient with our quoting and selection process. Global Journeys are the cheapest by far, cheaper than booking directly with the tour company. Our third trip coming up next year with Trafalgar, pace is a bit quick sometimes and you read more don't get as long as you would like in some stops or excursions, but the best way to see a lot of a country in a short period of time. Have done The Best of Italy and The Best of France, and trying our first multi country tour next May - Eastern Europe. Food was sometimes a bit dubious, except for the breakfasts, they were all excellent.
I had an excellent experience - I enjoyed seeing Spain with an excellent group of people and guided by a professional and knowledgeable tour director, driver and local guides. All accommodation and breakfasts as well as included meals were of an excellent standard and the pace of the tour was organised well. The only thing I could mention and it isn't read more a huge issue was that by the end it really felt like we had visited too many churches and that some could have been added as optional experiences rather than inclusions. I am sure Spain has plenty to offer tourists and other sights could be visited instead of numerous churches/synagogues/mosques. Overall, this was my first tour and it was a very memorable and rewarding experience.

Loved this tour. Would not change a thing! The accommodation was very comfortable as was the coach. Tour guide was excellent and interacted well with everyone. I particularly liked the pace of this tour and option to do the many optional extras to simply chill out before the next experience.
Russia was the highlight! 7

Loved the experiences in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Helsinki. Russia was the highlight! The wonderful palaces, the Hermitage Museum and the beautiful domed churches. I also loved the Peterhof Garden fountains and the beauty of the Metro Stations. I posted many photos on Facebook and also emailed photos to family and friends and many have said that Russia read more is somewhere they would love to visit. Our Tour Director, Jenn, gave us lots of informative talks, particularly in regard to Russia's history and she was also very helpful.

Overall the tour lived up to and beyond our expectations as far as sights and experiences were concerned. For my wife and I this was our 3rd tour with Trafalgar and the tour directors on the first 2 tours were very good, however our tour director in Canada , Jess, took it to another level. She was very enthusiastic, very organised when considering tour read more was full and just went that "extra mile" on a number of occasions. Our driver Bob was equally as good and did a great job - a good team these 2. The cruise was excellent and really enjoyed experiencing Alaska onboard the Volendam. Finally thanks to Michelle for her prompt and professional assistance during the booking and organising stage.
We loved every moment of the trip!! Our Tour manager was amazing, she was very knowledgeable and entertaining! Each day was very well organised. The trip was very smoothly run... no hiccups... perfect weather...LOVED IT!! We would highly recommend a Trafalgar Tour!

The coach driver and tour leader were excellent. Although I didn't do many of the optional extras as most seemed unnecessary. It would have been nice if we had more time in Hamelin. Otherwise all good.

We were taken to places we wouldn't have had time nor means to get there. The hidden treasures that were pointed out to us were "gems". Matt Bauer, our tour director was perfect for the job - humorous, caring, very informative and most of all fun! We took all optional tours offered with the tour & thought they were all value for money & complemented read more the trip so well. All members of our group were very happy with our experiences. Well done Trafalgar.
We were very impressed with our Trafalgar Scenic Parks Tour. However our experience of transport from airport to Tropicana Hotel Vegas and return to airport left a lot to be desired. As our flight arrived at 11.55pm on Saturday 15 August and our Tour was commencing at 6.00pm Sunday 16 August we were unable to receive complimentary transfer to the read more hotel. After clearing Customs it was 1.00am Sunday 16 August. We had prepurchased taxi vouchers through Trafalgar at a cost of $32 per person each way. Our taxi driver was going to refuse to take us as the vouchers had expired. We eventually talked him around. We thought $64 for a transfer to hotel was exorbitant as the taxi meter showed $12.80. The return transfer also cost us $64.00 for a $12.80 trip. This was an unpleasant start to our trip. Fortunately the trip itself was a wonderful experience. We would be pleased to travel Trafalgar in the future however we would think twice before arranging airport transfers through them. We wouldn't recommend dinner with the Mormons in Salt Lake City as an optional excursion in the future. We felt it was a money making recruitment drive by the Mormons.
The tour director was very passionate about European history and he was able to give us the appropriate background before we actually see the historical places that he described. We took all optional tours which are all value for money, with the exception of the trip to the farm in Switzerland. The hotel room we stayed in in Florence (Grand Hotel Mediterraneo) read more is not comfortable. The toilet seat is very close to the wash basin such that if you cant stand up after using the toilet...you have to move sideways, then stand up. Other than this hotel, all others are very good especially the one in Sinsheim, Germany.

Excellent tour, everything was taken care of. Steve was both knowledgeable and patient. Coach and driver were excellent. Tour covered everything and more. Accommodations and included meals were great.
Fast paced tour, saw a lot - will pick a slower paced tour next time. The Trafalgar team were very helpful and invested a lot of energy to ensure things went well.

Loved this trip. It was an excellent mix of battle sites, scenic sights and historical experiences plus visits to beautiful chateaus. It contained enough to interest both males and females. I would recommend this trip to everyone. The countryside was a delight to view. The coach was comfortable and provided free Wi-Fi. What more could you ask for.
Fantastic Italian Tour. Our group of 4, were very pleased with our tour director Romeo, and our fabulous coach driver Guiessepe . Their conversations & reference to detail were wonderful, never overloading us with unnecessary information. The chosen hotels could have been better. The best hotel being the Poiano at Lake Garda, followed by the Sheraton read more in Rome. Thank you for doing our bookings Emily & we shall approach you the next time we travel.

We had a very good time meeting lots of interesting and friendly people and would not want to eliminate anything from the tour. The tour director was very good. His discussion on various areas was very informative although sometime a little lengthy. The coach driver was excellent. However we felt that the tour could be another two days longer to eliminate read more some of the longer days on the coach. Planning the tour to target a max 3-4 hours on the bus on any day rather than 6-7 hours days would improve the overall feel and comfort. Hotels were generally good with Berlin in particular being a highlight as it was right in the middle of the city. Choosing hotels that are centrally located would be a great addition. Some for the included meals were not that good. There were some organisational issues that could be reviewed that would improve the overall tour i.e. the Hamburg harbour cruise could become included in the tour and replace the current poor hotel dinner.
We had a great time, saw some amazing sights & met some wonderful people. The city & the countryside were equally awe inspiring. While we saw a great many things in a small space of time we still managed to have some down time too. Highly recommend :)

The GoldLeaf experience on the Rocky Mountaineer was excellent. The cruise to Alaska on the Vollemdam was fantastic. Scenery, accommodation and service on the tour were excellent.
