Awesome Europe experience   1 , NSW, Australia, Nov 2023
We did the 7 countries in 10 days tour; it was a well-organised trip and whatever was promised, it happened; no surprises; can I say our amazing Tour Director Luigi has been great, very knowledgeable and giving us extra places to visit as long as time permits, making sure our visit to a country is all well-spent and worth the long drives from one country read more to the next. Our coach driver Mateo is the best driver, he drove us everyday in safety and we can all rest and sleep soundly on our seats. Moreover, he always keeps our coach neat and tidy. Thank you for this wonderful experience and great value for the cost of the tour; all the hotels were good and clean (Novotel, Accor Group). Will definitely plan our next holiday with Global Journeys.
Disappointed 5 , QLD, Australia, Aug 2019
Very disappointing tour. Tour Director and driver both very rude and they had very little knowledge of points of interest or historical significance. All information was read from a photocopied sheet as she sat in the front of bus before we arrived at a destination. Unable to answer questions put to her.

We were all treated like naughty children read more and admonished for being 1 minute late. Most stops were at truck stops and it was very slow to use bathrooms and get food. We spent most of our days having free time and then arriving at our evening hotels usually after 7. No time for shower before dinner. It took a ridiculous amount of time for keys to be distributed even once we arrived. At some locations room keys opened more than one door and some rooms had 2 lots of people allocated to them.

The accommodation was of a very poor standard most evenings and on 3 nights we had to collect our luggage from the bus and take to our own rooms. The following morning we had to get our luggage out to the bus ourselves. We were usually in trouble for not doing that right either.

Some Optional tours were very poor. The sightseeing tour in London €32 per person and lasted 2 hours with a guide who was very rude and pompous. We had to run to keep up with him and we are fit. Very unpleasant start to our trip. The Gondola ride in Venice was something we were really looking forward to but our tour guide (Tim) allocated us to gondolas. Our Gondola had 6 of us in it. 1 person weighed 185kg his father was 135kg and his mother 100kg. Paul is 100kg, Kevin 92kg and Loretta 65kg. This was ridiculous and we spent our entire ride terrified and trying to balance the boat. The tour guide would take no responsibility and we believe we should have our money refunded for this extremely unpleasant experience.

I could go on with a lot more examples of the very poor standard of this tour. My tour in Ireland was not perfect but at least the guide and our accommodation was of a good standard. Kevin has been on Costsaver, Trafalgar and On the Go tours and each time the drivers and tour guides were friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, helpful and informative. Neither of us would ever recommend Cosmos to anyone.
In safe and experienced hands   3 , TAS, Australia, Jul 2019
This was my first time on a coach tour and it won't be my last. The pace was quick but our guide made sure we saw the best and made the most of every minute. We didn't have to worry about a thing, and only had to focus on enjoying ourselves. Our guide in particular was very knowledgeable about European history and politics. She also used her extensive read more experience to get us to locations before the crowds, making sure we were well prepared.
10 Days Seven Countries 9 , New Zealand, Apr 2018
Fantastic tour through major parts of Europe. Excellent introduction if you have not had a chance to do one of these tours. Our tour guide (Sonia) was very well versed in every aspect of the tour. Her local knowledge, sense of humour and pace made it a well rewarded trip.

We recommend extra days in London prior to the start of the tour and after read more the tour , in Paris, as both cities have alot to offer. The coach was brand new, with good facilities on board. We had a very good driver, Guillermo who was always on time and ahead of schedule. We can now look forward to another tour.

Our thanks to Leanne (Global Journeys) for organising this tour.
Seven Countries, Venice and Paris 5 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2017
This tour of seven countries plus Venice and Paris was absolutely fantastic. We really enjoyed our everyday activities, our tour director was excellent, our driver was good, the places we saw were stunning and we are looking forward to booking our next holiday with Global Journeys. This tour made our holiday dreams become reality. Thank you so much read more Jemma Rosen for organising our trip.
Worry free holiday 4 , New Zealand, Jan 2017
This was a fabulous way to see a lot of Europe in a short space of time. I enjoyed not having to worry about anything as everything was taken care of which made it really easy. Our group was quite small (15 people) which was good and bad. Made it more difficult to book excursions and many of the group were very conservative and didn't mix with others read more which was odd. Would probably choose to go with a bigger group of friends next time for this reason. Accomodation started off excellent but slowly went down hill. Our Paris accommodation was awful! Terrible bed meant no sleep for two nights and very unhelpful staff at reception which was a shame as it was the last accommodation of the trip and left a bad taste for us. London and Amsterdam accommodation were both excellent! I would travel at this time of year again as it was a lot quieter which was great. We also had the bonus of going up the Eiffel tower which was definitely a highlight! Overall I loved the trip and would definitely book another tour again. (Ed: Review based on slightly different itinerary. Trip name and itinerary updated this season)
A 'Taste Test' for future travel 7 , QLD, Australia, Jul 2016
The overall trip was pretty good maybe a little too short and very quick, however that was our choice and as they say it is merely a "taste test" for future travel to those locations. The tour guide and driver "Alyssa and Sergio" were just great and very patient particularly in times when we were caught up in traffic or roadworks. The other travellers read more particularly the Aussies were fun to be with, lots of laughter and frivolity. Of course there are always a few in any situation that will not mix or adhere to the coach seat rotations but that ended up being in our favour as the Aussies stayed at the back of the coach and had a great time, and I am sure Alyssa can verify with our sense of humour but handled it well. Loved the places we visited absolutely beautiful my favourite Lucerne, and a close second would be Innsbruck/Boparte (equal). I thoroughly enjoyed the tour although it was go...go...go but saw lots that we probably wouldn't include in a normal trip and took lots of photos. Our thanks to Cosmos/Global Journeys - would definitely go with Cosmos again but a big thank you to Alyssa and Sergio - they made it work and were just so helpful and informative and great fun. The accommodation started out ok but slowly dropped in standard as we moved further into the trip but as far as overnight stays go it was ok.
Well organised guides & drivers 3 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2015
A great overview of Europe in a few days. Hectic but expected with what was covered during the tour. Well organised - good guides & drivers. Itinerary was well planned & covered many of the main highlights of Europe.
Value for money and fun holiday! 3 , NSW, Australia, Jun 2015
This was our first land tour and we found it to be good value for money! We loved the Rhine river cruise and the shopping time allotted to us in Lucerne. Our tourmates were friendly and fun to be with, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept us on schedule. We felt like we were a big family comprising of various nationalities.

The dinner read more in Paris was one of the highlights (being serenaded while enjoying our delicious cuisine)...The glass blowing was fantastic! I was able to buy some precious jewelries from that store. Although tiring, it was a wonderful and memorable experience that we will deeply treasure.
Quite amazed at the pace, good value for money 2 , NSW, Australia, Jun 2015
It was my first time to join a tour and was quite amazed at the pace. Although tiring, I really enjoyed it. There were 40 of us; it was a mixed group (probably youngest was 12 and oldest was 60 plus). The tour members were very cordial/friendly to one another and were punctual so we were on time for the tour. Alyssa was an excellent tour director and read more so was the coach driver. The only downside was the Venice gondola excursion. I thought there would only be two on a gondola as shown in brochures and you have a leisurely ride on the river with a serenade. There were six people (too crowded) and too many boats that it took away the 'romance' aspect of the excursion; too commercialised. Overall it was good value for money.
