What our clients are saying about their journeys around Australia
Every thing went very smoothly. The tour director &coach driver were excellent. Grand TasmanEvan , NSW, Australia, Mar 2026
Thanks very much for Grace who guided me through all things applying to our application for the Grand Tasman Tour. The tour was very well run, and for our first trip to Tassie the whole trip was a wonderful experience. Thanks again cheers.
We combined 2 Intrepid tours to see many bucket list sights in SW Victoria and Kangaroo Island — linked by a train ride from Stawell to Adelaide. Every day was full of surprises and delights. Amazing landscapes and wild life too numerous to list. The two guides were very professional and ensured that everyone was catered for - from the most adventurous read more to those less able bodied.
Lovely tour of Tasmania Grand TasmanAngela & Lawrence, WA, Australia, Jan 2026
This tour was fantastic. I think what made it so good was our fabulous Tour Director Gordon. He was a born and bred Tasmanian and obviously loved his State. His knowledge and information was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for him from start to finish. Highly recommend.
Once again Tracey helped us greatly with our booking. Prior to boarding the Indian Pacific at East Perth terminal, canapés and drinks were served on the platform. As it was a hot day it would have been preferred inside the terminal (air conditioned ). Once onboard the staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. Platinum cabin and service was great! read more Food was excellent too. On board entertainment was provided by a singer/musician who played in the various lounges throughout the journey. Excursions taken were excellent: Curious Kalgoorlie, star gazing at Cook, dinner at Seppeltsfield Winery(wonderful food pairing, dinner and musicians), walking tour with Shelita in Broken Hill(very entertaining and tasty canapés provided).
Journey overnight from Adelaide was a bit rocky due to the tracks otherwise the journey was very pleasant. Was a wonderful journey through varying scenery across Australia. Thank you Tracey & Global Journeys for another great holiday.
What a wonderful Tour of the south of West Australia Wonders of the South WestPaul and Karen, United Kingdom, Nov 2025
Our Tour had so many highlights this was because both the places listed on the itinerary and the extra stops put in by our Tour Manager and the Driver. We picked Travelmarvel over others as their tour happened to avoid some of the places we had already visited. The driver Ash and Sue worked so well as a team and Ash particularly went out of her way read more to enhance our experience for example taking photos of use at certain stops. She always seamed to find the best places to eat and get her coffee from. Sue gave use lots of information on so many things as we progressed through the tour.
There was a lot of driving, but the coach was reasonably modern, as the tour wasn't fully booked there was plenty of space and comfortable. It did have a minor problem with the rear door but as our group was not the whole coach this wasn't an issue. To get the miles needed in needed for some an early start on a number of days and limited time for comfort and viewing stops and Lunch breaks.
The Dolphin feeding at Money Mia has evolved with time, but good photos were got, so many highs and good memories made included Shark bay wildlife Cruise, the Captain was excellent and informative, the Pinnacles, the Wave Rock. The Kalbarri Sky Walk, and the Valley of the Giants tree top walk was just amazing. The food was almost always excellent with the only disappointment was the felling of being rushed as some places (2 of them) by the waiting staff hovering and clearing away our plates the second we had finished. Similarly at the Wine tasting at Margaret River with some not finished sample glasses being whisked away before we had finished. Some of the optional extra experiences were also memorable particularly the Undersea Observatory at Busselton.
Our booking was expertly handled initially by Maise but through time as we had booked over 12 months ahead of our tour, were were seamlessly transferred to Hannah with a proper process of Maise advising us of her move (promotion) and the advice of who our new advisor was going to be. The hand over and Hannah, who swiftly contacted us and has provided timely responses to our subsequent queries. Well done all around this hasn't been our experience at other places. Book with confidence for the most amazing tour and most memorable experiences. We were luck with the weather only 2 days of wet weather and this partly helped.
If you’re feeling like you need time to unwind, a bit of a challenge, a weekend away with the girls (or your partner), and some fresh air, then this getaway ticks all the boxes. This was my first walking trip, it was a great place to start, and hopefully the first of many. The three of us joined a group of 10. We were a little nervous at first, weren’t t read moreoo sure what to expect despite plenty of advice on how to prepare, and we all questioned our own fitness levels beforehand.
For this walk, you stay at the one campsite on Bruny island and only carry a day pack during the hikes. Most of the group had walking poles. They weren’t essential, but after borrowing them over the few days to test out, we could see how much they helped with stability, so they’ll be my next purchase for sure.
Our group, including our two Guides, gelled from Day One, and from there everything just flowed. We walked and chatted and shared all our meals together. The Guides were amazing, one leading, one trailing, always looking out for everyone, sharing insights about the local flora and fauna, and then somehow pulling together delicious three course dinners back at camp. Mornings included cooked breakfasts if you wanted them, or lighter options like fruit, yoghurt and cereal, plus packed lunches organised for the day.
The glamping tents were warm and comfortable, the showers looked out onto the bush, and the pace over the three days was challenging but very achievable. Best of all, you felt completely regenerated at the end of each day. I highly recommend this trip and can’t wait to do the next one.
