Real Britain Tour 3 , VIC, Australia, Nov 2018
Arrived back from the UK yesterday, after a great trip. We would like to thank Yvonne for organising the Real Britain Tour part of it and for getting our tickets to us early. We will have no hesitation in booking with you in the future. Thanks again.
Saw much more than we ever could have on our own 2 , NSW, Australia, Jun 2015
We saw so much more than we ever could have driving ourselves. We had a relatively small group on the bus of 27 and this made it so much more enjoyable and personal. Trafalgar run a good tour and had excellent time management. Wonderful itinerary and we were blessed with sunny skies every day so very lucky there. For my husband and I 6 days, 5 nights read more was just the right length for a coach trip. Accommodation was comfortable, included meals and breakfasts very good and included sightseeing excellent.
You get to see the top attractions of the country 3 , Australia, Jul 2013
I only did this tour to fill in the time between my Irish and French tours. I am glad I did. This was a great tour and although we covered lots of England we did not seem to be doing that much driving (I suppose its so small anyway). This really does do the main tourist attractions in England so you get to see the top attractions of the country - there read more are a number of places we were taken that were not on the schedule (these are up to the guide to decide depending on time). I found these to be wonderful (such as Salisbury Cathedral). This is a great tour if you want to see as much of England as possible in a small amount of time - also one of the reasons I chose it is because I did Scotland last year and it seems to be one of the few tours that does not take in Edinburgh and/or Glasgow as did not want to go to these places again this year.
The tour was fantastic! 1 , Australia, Sep 2012
The tour was fantastic! Tour guide Clare was very informative, helpful and nothing was ever a problem. The group was always ready on time and at no time did we have to wait for anyone. Would liked to have had an extra hour or so in some places but with so much packed in I know that wasn't possible. Hotels were top class. The 'Be My Guest' dinner was read more extraordinary. To sit down to dinner in a country manor was a memorable occasion that the hosts opened their home to strangers. The only downside was that I lost a 4GB SD memory card that contained 800 photos pretour and first 5 days of tour. In hindsight I shoulda/coulda/woulda have had the card burned to a dvd. Luckily I bought postcards at each stop but that doesn't replace the photos of me in different places. Well dome Global Journeys I will definitely tour again and also recommend you to friends and colleagues.
Couldn't praise enough the whole experience 3 , Australia, Oct 2011
I had a wonderful time and I couldn't praise enough the whole experience. Georgie from Global Journeys was extremely helpful, courteous and very efficient with her help to me with my all my queries and needs. She followed through with every request with promptness and friendliness. Thank you Georgie for your wonderful service. The whole procedure for read more me, a total novice at the computer and booking things on-line was so simple thanks to you. The tour itself was amazing. The tour guide, Steen Harris was both professional to his toes, but with a very warm wit and amazingly good knowledge of his surroundings. It was a pleasure to hear his recounting the information regarding the places we visited, as well as his very up to date knowledge of all that's happening in the UK, unlike a previous tour taken many years ago, when the guides voice was a drivelling self indulgent monotone. The hotels that we stayed at were of an excellent quality and very good food was offered at each meal. The coach was comfortable and kept spotless by the extremely good driver, Shane. So all told, a pure joy to experience and highly recommended to anyone wishing to do this or a similar tour with Trafalgar. It offers value for money and extremely good service throughout.
