Spectacular Alaska! with Alaska Cruise

Our highlights were viewing the glaciers up close and seeing the sea life, whales, puffins, sea otters' sea lions, the bald eagle ect. The people we travelled with were great and we all seem to get on well with each other. The accommodation was very good and we had good meals. Our Tour Director was the best you could ever have. She went over and above read more to make the trip one we would never forget. Our Coach Driver was the same, very careful driver and the two of them were a great team, you could not fault them in any way.
We thought the optional excursions were mainly flights which were quite expensive and others were aimed at people who enjoyed going down the rapids in a rubber boat, and did not suit the older people. We liked the Denali park and the train journey from Fairbanks to Denali. All our lunch stops, river cruises and informative displays of how people lived in the earlier days, were excellent. We would definitely go on another Globus tour in the future if possible.

A great way to see some amazing places in Scandinavia. We visited a diverse range of attractions, saw some spectacular scenery and interacted with some incredible people. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with wonderful insights into the places and people we were visiting. Our accommodation was pretty good - although many of us really read more missed our evening cuppa with few places having tea/coffee facilities. The optional excursions were often expensive with many opting to do them on their own for considerably less cost. Overall - very happy with the trip and the wonderful memories we have.

Our tour started in Lisbon on 29 June which was a perfect time as the weather was just perfect. We had no rain on our whole trip and saw some amazing places. Our Tour Guide, Uri, was very helpful especially as one of our travellers had a back problem and couldn't visit all the places so Uri just organised for her to rest up at a lovely spot so that read more she could take in the atmosphere at least.
We met some travellers from other parts of Australia, the UK, and America so it was a varied group and the coach was so comfortable and fitted with Wifi so easy to keep in touch with family at home. My favourite place was probably Lagos on the way to the Algarve and we could have just stay there for days and days but unfortunately we had to move on to the Algarve instead which was equally enjoyable too.

This was my first time travelling on a coach tour and travelling on my own as a single as I have always self-driven with a companion in the past. I enjoyed Gladys as tour director she was patient, fun and very knowledgeable about all parts of the tour. It was a great tour party and mix of people who made me feel as a single very comfortable. It was read more nice to be put on a table on the cruise with people on the tour it made it feel like meeting with friends every night.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Everything was so well organised and it was a lovely stress free holiday. Our tour guide Andrew was awesome and so knowledgeable. The included sightseeing was great and the optional excursions that we did were really worth doing. The hotels were all good, apart from Inverness. The hotel there was very old and a few people read more on our tour had no hot water at all during our two night stay. Our coach broke down a few days into our tour and we got a brand new one which was great apart from limited leg room on one side of the coach. Our fellow travellers were all lovely and we all got one really well. We will definitely do another tour through Globus.
Excellent tour of Scandinavia and Finland 11

This Globus tour provided us with a great range of varied experiences, as we explored Scandinavia and Finland. It was particularly enjoyable to experience different forms of transport: coach, car ferries, overnight ferry between Copenhagen and Oslo, a fjord cruise, trains and a plane flight as well. The scenery was fabulous, particularly in Norway. read more Our tour director, Karel de Bruin, was well organised and knowledgeable.
Accommodation on the tour was mostly satisfactory, though the standard varied quite a bit. Some of the Scandic hotels used were not up to the standard we have previously experienced with Globus. We had two coach drivers (Stockholm to Oslao and Tromsø to Helsinki), both of whom made us feel both comfortable and safe.

It was more than what I expected. My husband and I felt so blessed to have done this tour. Everyone was so kind. The tour guide was just wonderful, he never panicked and was always calm.

Trip was great, well organised , accommodation really good as very close to the main attraction ( walking distance). The last time I travelled was 3 years ago, again with Globus. Nice to have been provided with a bottle of water every day as Europe was unusually hot. Booking with Hannah Campbell at Global Journeys was superb - will definitely travel read more with Globus again. Hopefully, soon!

This is our second tour booked with Global Journeys. Both tours were well organized. Tour guides as well as the drivers were excellent. I highly recommend to everyone. Special thanks to our tour guide.
We enjoyed our trip travelling around Portugal with Globus. Our hotels were great and centrally located. Our tour guide, Pedro , was very organised and knew when we needed to get to a place early to avoid all the other tour groups. We had many nationalities on our trip, but all good fun to be with (only one other Australian). We particularly liked read more Lisbon with it's history of different cultures and it's many places to eat.

Our tour of Austria and Switzerland was magic. Among our highlights were visits to Vienna, Salzburg, Zermatt and Berne. Among optional tour highlights were visits to Hitler's Eagle's Nest, the Matterhorn Glacial Paradise, Trummelbach Falls and Mount Pilatus. I would recommend this tour to everyone. The tour operator, Globus, as always did a marvellous read more job. I would recommend Global Journeys for their professionalism and competitive prices.

The tour was up there with the best. The tour director was very knowledgeable of the route and its history and was very helpful with all requests, large or small. The driver was quite excellent and experienced with the roads in alpine areas. Hotels were adequate, the ski lodge type stuff a bit rougher. There were too many optionals on offer, about one read more a day, which diluted the actual tour. Fellow travellers very friendly and an interesting grouping of nations and origins. No major hassles.

An easy way to take the stress out of travel. Good hotels, good inclusions and some great extra excursions. Seeing Swan Lake in St Petersburg was an unforgettable highlight. The tour guides were knowledgeable and very friendly and the bus driver was a legend. The Baltic Countries were fascinating but I loved Russia and would recommend it in a heartbeat, read more despite the insane traffic!
From beginning to end the tour was just a pleasure to be part of. We had excellent group of folk...all willing to make it good for everyone else. Our tour guide,Gail, was just perfect. Making everything so clear so as to not be in doubt as to the schedule and very clear in giving the history of places on the tour. We have no regrets whatsoever. This read more trip will always have good memories for us.

We wanted to see the Canadian Rockies and we selected the 12 day Rocky Mountain tour with Globus as it met our wish list of places to visit. This was our very first ever guided tour, we are normally independent travellers. We decided to go with Globus after reviewing a few other companies and chose to use Global Journeys as they offered a good price, read more lower than the Globus catalogue. Global Journeys were extremely easy to deal with and only a phone call away if we had a query. We also chose the tour that provided the majority of our accommodation in Fairmont hotels, these were mostly beautiful, well located hotels.
Our tour was made all the more special by the care and dedication of our guide Mark Love, he was absolutely fabulous. Mark went above and beyond in ensuring every person on the tour, all 37 of us was well cared for. His attention to detail with daily planning was fabulous. We just don't know how he managed to get the snow to fall at exactly the time we visited Medicine Lake. At the lake he shoveled snow to make a path so our shoes wouldn't get too wet. Our coach driver was also a great asset to the tour providing comic relief as well as very safe driving. It also should be said our coach was brand new! Thanks GJ for your attention to detail we certainly had a fabulous journey, one we will remember for a long time.

What a tour, the places you go are fantastic, however some place you need more time, but it gives you a idea where to go when you go back by your self and not on a tour. The coach crappy seats and some days you done a lot of kilometres. Booking with Global Journeys (Yvonne) made it easy, they sure you had nothing to worry about in booking with them. read more Global Journeys discount is the best in Australia.
As this was our first ever guided tour we were uncertain what to expect. There was a lot to commend plus some to suggest a change to. The whole trip was very worth while but my wife & I found the constant church visits very trying. Neither of us are religious and although we found the various murals, fresco's and mosaics wonderful, we found that the read more religious descriptions far too detailed. After about 5-6 church visits we cried enough and opted out. on occasions we were joined by other clients who also felt that they had enough too. After all just how many murals and fresco's etc do we need to see? (One of our party was a Hindu so you can imagine how interested she was)
Overall we are glad we went. Although we had visited Italy on day trips from both Austria and Switzerland this was the first time we had actually stayed in the country. This trip enabled us to see so much of the towns and cities we visited we could not have done it alone. The quality of both the tour director and the various guides was fantastic. One thing this tour has confirmed for us is that we much prefer independent travel.
Overall we are glad we went. Although we had visited Italy on day trips from both Austria and Switzerland this was the first time we had actually stayed in the country. We had an fantastic trip through the Rockies, led by a most experienced, knowledgeable and entertaining Tour Director, Tarek. Hotels were good and scenery was spectacular. Highlights included Fairmont Chateau (Whistler), Flying Fox Adventure (Whistler), Maligne Lake Cruise to Spirit Island, Maligne Canyon, Columbia Icefields/Athabusca Glacier, Banff read more National Park/Icefields Parkway, and Lake Louise). The group we traveled with were great fun, and we exchanged many laughs.
This was an outstanding trip, the hotels were all excellent and in great locations. The courier Tarek, was outstanding, an extremely knowledgeable and helpful person. It was a very well run trip with a well thought out itinerary and I would love to travel Globus again. The trip gave us time to explore by ourselves and the excursions were all excellent, read more especially the Peak to Peak in Whistler. The included dinners and breakfasts were all of a high standard. The included excursions were also wonderful and our favourite was the breakfast at the top of Sulphur Mountain in Banff.
Overall, the trip was excellent. My husband and I had a great time. We found Greeks to be very friendly and kind. Food was superb. Our tour guide was very good. She would advice us as to what to expect especially as we had flying and ferry ride included so everything went alright. Local guides were really knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
