New England and Eastern Canada tour 1 , TX, United States, Aug 2022
We just returned from a beautiful motor coach/ cruise ship tour of Boston, New Hampshire, Vermont, Montreal, Quebec, Charlottetown, Sydney, Halifax and Bar Harbor. Our plans were expertly handled by our Global Journeys travel agent Georgie Walpole, based in Australia. She quickly addressed all of our questions and concerns and made us feel like we read more were her only clients. She calmly listened to us and was kind and reassuring when a problem arose halfway through the planning and we were afraid we would have to cancel. She is excellent at her job!

The motor coach beginning of the trip was very fun. We met some very nice fellow travelers and had some very interesting sights to see on the way to Canada. Scott Dworkin was our guide and managed the group of 40 of us expertly. New Hampshire and Vermont were gorgeous and he got us all into Canada safely and arranged for the group to all get Covid tests which were required to get on the cruise ship. The cruise was lovely, with excellent food, very accommodating staff, good entertainment in the evenings and interesting excursions. People we met in the ports were friendly and welcoming. It was overall a very wonderful 12 days!
Passage through New England and Eastern Canada 1 , VIC, Australia, Aug 2019
Booking process was easy with Jemma responding to queries promptly. The coach travel portion was as expected, early starts but getting into destinations early. Some glitches with information not passed on at first hotel in Boston. Accommodation was of good quality, included evening meals of a fair standard. Shelburne museum a great place with plenty read more to see. The Tour Director, Hilary, was very knowledgeable and helpful. The ship embarkation and disembarkation was a streamlined process. Ocean view cabins were situated on lower promenade deck and staff helpful. A great variety of food and restaurants to choose, at a price, if didn't feel like eating at the included areas. There were a variety of excursions to choose from if you wanted to see more of the ports. All types of entertainment to cater for most preferences.
Amazing autumn colour of foliage and beautiful small towns   1 , QLD, Australia, Sep 2018
We booked our trip with Global Journeys and toured with Globus and have booked with Georgie for all our trips and find her to be quick to give you the best price. To be very thorough in checking our itinerary to make sure we have thought of everything. As for the trip it was totally amazing such colour and Niagara Falls Wow, the Cruise up around Nova read more Scotia and back to Boston was fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone.
Coach and cruise 1 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2018
We loved our recent trip both by coach and cruise ship. It was fascinating to visit the three beautiful cities of Boston, Montreal and Quebec. The first part on the coach was fast paced, well organised and very well hosted. Our fellow travellers were mainly Americans which was both interesting and delightful to meet such an enthusiastic bunch. The cruise, read more as always with Holland America was perfect, great staff, activities and excursions. Smooth waters for the most part too. I would recommend this trip to see a part of the US and Canada not always visited from Australia, especially for lovers of history.
Eastern Canada coach trip plus cruise 5 , VIC, Australia, Jul 2018
We went on this Eastern Canada trip with Globus in July. Weather was quite hot everywhere. We had a full bus load of people (Canadians, Americans & Australians) & everyday we moved seats. Our guide James was excellent, ensuring things went smoothly. Our accommodation was very good & all beds were very comfortable. Only about half of us continued on read more & did the cruise with Holland America on the Maasdam, the cruise was so good. Food was exceptional & drink prices moderate. We even got our laundry done on board, $20 US for as much as you could stuff in the laundry bag. Had a wonderful optional extra to Prince Edward Island to visit the home of "Anne of Green Gables". Georgie at Global Journeys handled our trip booking & she is very efficient & helpful. We had a wonderful holiday, Eastern Canada is beautiful & recommend everyone to visit.
Eastern Canada 2 , VIC, Australia, Jul 2018
Had the best time on the coach part with Globus tours, our tour guide James Saunders was great and had so much info on all parts, and also liked how our pick ups and transfers where done. Would do another tour with them.
Awesome time travelling to the Historic Cities of Canada 1 , SA, Australia, May 2018
My experience with Global Journeys has always been great. This is one of the reasons I travel with them. I had an awesome time travelling to the Historical Cities of Canada. Very good guide, enjoyment all around the trip.
Great trip good value for the money 6 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2017
Booking with Global Journeys was an excellent experience. Yvonne was very helpful very professional but very friendly she makes it very easy for us and she took care of all the details and kept us informed at all times we will always go back to Global Journeys and Yvonne for our future holidays.

The trip was very nice and the coach was very comfortable, read more Beverly, our tour director was very nice and did a great job, and our driver, Guy was amazing and an excellent driver.

The itinerary had lots of free-time which we really liked, some accommodations were excellent [Westin in Toronto, Lord Elgin in Ottawa and Delta in Montreal ] and some were average [Doubletree in Niagara Falls, Delta Quebec] but overall the trip was enjoyable and you get what you paid for. The trip was a good value for the money. There were not enough excursions offered by Globus and the included features were not enough.

in Toronto the Lunch at the Tower was excellent but the driving around was boring no stops just drive through we would love if we had couple of stops especially at the Chateau in Toronto to takes photos. Niagara falls was excellent but the 3 hours free time we had was too long we would rather have spent it at Niagara on the Lake, the general consensus on the bus was to have more time at Niagara on the lakes it was a very beautiful small town with lots of small shops, Restaurants and character.

Ottawa and Quebec were the highlight of this trip they are beautiful cities with lots to offer we loved Ottawa fruit and vegetable Market and the dinner at le Moulin de Saint Laurent was a great dinning experience, the food was excellent and the Merlot was very good.
The Montmorency Falls were amazing, the Notre Dame Basilica was excellent a must see. Overall it was a very enjoyable trip and we would recommend Globus for people who wants to do tours with lots of free time and less excursions.
Coach Tour First timer 2 , New Zealand, Jun 2017
This was my first time travelling on a coach tour and travelling on my own as a single as I have always self-driven with a companion in the past. I enjoyed Gladys as tour director she was patient, fun and very knowledgeable about all parts of the tour. It was a great tour party and mix of people who made me feel as a single very comfortable. It was read more nice to be put on a table on the cruise with people on the tour it made it feel like meeting with friends every night.
Wonderful trip through New England and New Hampshire   3 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2016
The trip itinerary was very good, accommodation was excellent along the way, the bus was roomy and comfortable and the boat was great. Crowds were not an issue. The only two disappointing things were that the leaves had only just begun to turn due to a very hot summer and dry weather so would suggest a slightly later departure than what we did if this read more is what you want to see. However along with that will go many more buses and more ships, therefore more crowds! On the itinerary side, we thought Sydney was disappointing unlike its namesake in Australia! This experience seemed to be shared by many others we travelled with. Suggest you spend an additional couple of days in Boston before or after the trip as this is a fascinating city and the tour included in the itinerary is a barely an hour glimpse.
