Excellent Trans American Adventure tour experience 5 Trans-American Adventure , VIC, Australia, Jun 2016
We thoroughly enjoyed the 22 day tour with Cosmos, bookings organised for us by Global Journeys' Yvonne in a very efficient manner. The tour director Doris Walker was very informative, organised and well looked after the needs of the 40 on our tour. Her smooth operation and wit along with Craig's excellent driving skills and courteous attitude made read more it easy for us to focus on the viewing of the seven plus national parks which were breathtaking and some beautiful small towns and a few large cities. Most of the hotels we stayed in were good except the one in Pierre which was below the standard. Overall a very positive experience and happy to we took this particular tour to USA.
Very well organised and operated tour. 3 Trans-American Adventure , WA, Australia, Jun 2016
We had a great time on this tour which was led wonderfully well by Doris, our Tour Director, who even made the hours in the coach interesting when there wasn't much scenery to look at. Niagara Falls, Ford Museum, Grand Canyon and all of the National Parks were among many, many highlights of this tour. Excellent value for money and we met some lovely read more and very interesting people within our group, wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends. Thank you Doris and Michelle at Global Journeys.
Full on, but great!   6 , VIC, Australia, Jun 2016
The tour was full-on, but excellent. After the first day I wondered how I would finish two weeks, but I did. With a good sleep each night, I had recovered for the next day. It was good not having to walk long distances if you did not want to, but most of the walking was short anyway. It was hot, but we were either in the coach or the motel most of read more the time. The short time in heat was okay, but at times draining if we were left too long. As we had to have our bags packed and ready to be picked up at the motel by 6.30am most mornings, you needed to be organised the night before. The many miles we travelled were broken with stops of sights to visit or vista points. The distance did not seem great, although we covered three States - Colorado, Utah and Arizona. The many canyons, State and National Parks we visited were amazing, such variety and beauty. The whole tour was wonderful and well worth it. Our driver was excellent and our tour director very good.
Easy trip through the South. 6 Southern Charms & Florida , QLD, Australia, Jun 2016
Very busy trip which means you see and do a lot of interesting things. Loved the Southern hospitality and the optional excursions. Savanna and New Orleans were the highlights.
Half of Canada and all of Alaska in three weeks. 5 Canadian Train Odyssey with Alaska Cruise , WA , Australia, Jun 2016
Scenery breath taking and beautiful especially the Canadian Rockies and Lakes. Highlights being Magline Lake and the Columbia Ice Field. The cruise with Holland America comfortable and satisfied except for the compulsory tipping both on board and the land tour. On board ship wine at meals had to be purchased which I found unsatisfactory. Train cabin read more very tiny and cell like. The Chelsea Hotel which began the tour from Toronto is like a railway station, large and with little atmosphere. Other hotels ranged from average to pretty good. Time of year mid June perhaps a little early for warmer weather but was not too bad. Take some warm clothing! Fellow travellers a mix of various nationalities. The Americans very friendly, others average and a couple of nasty Aussies.
Alps tour of Switzerland 1 Alpine Adventure, Bernina & Glacier Express , VIC, Australia, Jun 2016
Fantastic trip, well run, Cosmos was professional and very organised. Best memory was being snowed on at the top of one of the mountains in St Moritz, so lovely, crisp, clean, pretty, surreal, soft.
Exceeded my expectations, met some great people, & the pace just right. 3 Alpine Adventure, Bernina & Glacier Express , VIC, Australia, Jun 2016
This is my 3rd adventure with Global Journeys & Cosmos and they all have been great. After you start the first adventure within the next 2 or 3 days you start to feel relaxed. Tour director excellent, driver excellent both relaxed and accommodating. All sightseeing and the scenery amazing, combined with the chair lifts & glacier trains. Overall this was a great tour.
Journey to the midnight sun. 2 , WA, Australia, Jun 2016
Travelling north from Helsinki the journey takes in three days of travel through the vast forests and lakes of Finland before crossing the Arctic Circle through the north of Finland and into Norway. Most of the tour took place north of the Arctic Circle where, at this time of the year (June/July), there is almost 24 hours of daylight. The highlights read more of the tour were in Norway where the much more interesting landscape was easier on the eye than the somewhat monotonous never ending forests and flat scenery in Finland. Better weather would have been useful but, apart from that, and the often long days on the coach, it was an interesting tour with the fjords in Norway clearly being the highlight.
Relaxing Enjoyable time in Eastern US & Canada 1 Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation , Australia, Jun 2016
We had a great time on our recent Cosmos tour of Eastern US & Canada. Beautiful weather in June, excellent tour Guide, great driver and nice travel group made for a relaxing, stress free and enjoyable holiday. An improvement could be adding some group meals which would increase the social time together, this tour has no meals included.
Eastern US & Canada 6 Eastern US & Canada Grand Vacation , QLD, Australia, Jun 2016
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for arranging our Cosmos tour in the USA & Canada. We have previously travelled with Trafalgar and were also extremely pleased with their service, but had some initial reservations about the quality of Cosmos as they are much more cost competitive. I am pleased to advise that our experience with Cosmos read more for this tour was very good. The Tour Director Darryl Jenkins was excellent. Quality of the coach above average, in fact equivalent if not better than Trafalgar. There were 49 passengers but it was extremely well organised and well timed. The coach was spotless at all times. Driver very professional.

Hotels in the main were well located and with the exception of Niagara falls of quite good standard. The optional tours were reasonably priced. We did have a few dinners where wait staff were poor but that is no reflection on Cosmos, just what seems to be the norm. Surprising when you consider that the same wait staff rely on tips for a living wage subsidy. The Tour Director was very knowledgeable and the local guides with exception of Montreal very good. Our comfort e.g. toilet breaks food beverage stops were well catered too and passengers were assisted at all times. I hope this feedback will assist you in advising other clients. Congratulations to Cosmos and their staff for a job well done. Highly recommend this tour.
Fantastic tour of Central Europe 3 Central Europe , VIC, Australia, Jun 2016
Firstly thanks Michelle for your help in booking our tour of Central Europe with Cosmos. We chose the European summer, which was fantastic, I think we only had one day of drizzle during our tour; the weather was great. We could not fault the Tour Director or driver, both very professional and friendly. The tour was as we expected very busy, but we had read more sufficient breaks from the coach and a fair bit of free time in most cities to explore. Probably the only downside was a couple of the guides in two cities, they weren't great. We have however left feedback and would hope they are replaced. This did not detract from the overall tour which combined interesting history, a fair amount of free time to explore, shop etc , some lovely accommodation and lots of laughs with fellow travellers. Just to see and experience some of the history and sites of this region was exhilarating. Some of the highlights would be Berlin, Poland ( especially the salt mines), Warsaw, Krakow, Prague, Rothenberg. As usual with a group of people of 40 odd you don't gel with some, but overall very good and we got to meet some very good friends. Overall a very good tour which we will remember for the rest of our lives.
Scandinavia - A great trip 2 Focus on Scandinavia , NSW, Australia, Jun 2016
A great trip. Great operator as first time user of Cosmos. Accommodation was very good. Our tour guide was fantastic. Long days in the coach but we wanted to see everything there. Expensive for food items and drinks. Great scenery. Highly recommend to all.
Amazing Norway 3 , ACT, Australia, Jun 2016
While Finland wasn't as good as I expected, Norway was absolutely spectacular. Nordkap and Geiranger were highlights if the tour. Whole tour was very well organized and our tour director was also excellent. Should have included 1 extra day in Trondheim. Would definitely recommend this tour.
24 day The British Isles in Depth 6 The British Isles in Depth , VIC, Australia, Jun 2016
Overall it was a fantastic holiday, beautiful experience, amazing scenery, great group of people and the tour guide gave us so much information. The tour guide Kevin Murphy was very friendly and knew the history of all the areas we visited very well. We were amazed at his memory on all the historical dates. The driver was very good and quite friendly. read more The accommodation was quite nice and comfortable in most places except in the last hotel, the Kensington Hotel, the bedroom was so small we could hardly get around the other side of the bed. As far as the highlight of this trip, I think every where we went was a highlight because it was so pretty, very historical and breathtaking. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who is thinking of visiting the UK. I actually think this tour should be advertised as a 21 day tour because the first 2 days the people are free to do their own things and the last day nothing happens. The tour actually concludes on day 23 because day 24 people depart.
Good trip 5 The British Isles in Depth , Qld, Australia, Jun 2016
Everyone on tour including us were very disappointed with the "Kensington Close Hotel". The rooms were very small and poky-the toilet was very poky-had to back into it. Everything was very expensive and the hotel in general were very " up themselves". Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. On the other hand the "Dorsett Inn" at Shepherds Bush read more was very good-very friendly and very good food and reasonably priced.
Spactacular! 4 Canadian Masterpiece with Rocky Mountaineer & Alaska Cruise , NSW, Australia, Jun 2016
The trip was much more exciting than I imagined it would be. The scenery and wild life was amazing and there was enough free time to do your own thing. Sharon, our tour guide was informative, had a sense of humour and worked extremely hard. The cruise was enjoyable although the extra excursions were very expensive and not very exciting. It was difficult read more organising expenses when meals were not included. I don't usually comment on airlines as I think they have a difficult job and most airlines are much the same but Air Canada was not good. The service was disorganised and the stewards were very abrupt. The food was ghastly.
Beautiful Scandinavia!   3 Focus on Scandinavia , VIC, Australia, Jun 2016
Global Journey consultants are so professional and helpful in the way they handled my booking from the start till the end. Lily K. was a lovely, knowledgeable and professional tour Coordinator. Vradal is so peaceful and beautiful! And I loved travelling on the zig-zag mountain roads in Norway. Everything was great. Thank you and would love to join read more your company for another trip in the future. All the best.
Perfect Trip 3 , NSW, Australia, May 2016
It's just a perfect trip because its only 18 of us in the coach and we are all Aussies. The choices of hotels are good, only one or two are not (rooms too small to move around with big suitcase) I learned a lot from this tour. Although some parts we thought are just a waste of time and "energy". My sister is convincing me to do it again with her, read more which I might. Global Journeys help was great.
13 Day The Canadian Rockies 3 The Canadian Rockies , ACT, Australia, May 2016
Generally good and I enjoyed the trip. I will book again with Cosmos through Global Journeys. The coach was new and OK but the seats and the inclination was not all that good for a long trip. The tour could have included more important optional tours with a marginal increase in tour costs by applying group discounts etc.
One of the best tour of Italy 4 Italy's Best , VIC, Australia, May 2016
This tour was one of the best tour of Italy that I have been. The tour covered the best and beautiful places of Italy from north, Lake Maggiore, to south, Positano. The tour director Savio is very friendly, helpful and liked by everyone. He has great knowledge not only of Italy but also Italian cooking and was teaching us how to cook Italian food while read more we were on the coach. The south of Italy is very beautiful. Will revisit again in the future.
