First time on a coach tour anywhere. The 8 Day Discover Provence was an experiment for us. Would we enjoy a coach tour? The answer is a resounding, yes. The day trips were amazing, but the aspects that stood out for us were: the same hotel for 5 nights, the Mecure in Avignon; a wonderful coach driver; and an outstanding tour director. Sandy Royet was read more a gem. The mix of history, wine, and olives proved, for us, to be a special blend. There were some amazing characters on the tour including an 84 year old New Zealander, now widowed, who has been a Cosmos customer for some 50 years. He spoke highly of the Provence tour and of the excellence of our lovely young tour director. Jennifer and I will be very happy to use Cosmos again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Cosmos Alaska trip. As a group of 4 couples we were very happy with our booking agent at Global Journeys and the thorough and professional treatment we received. Our trip went without any problems and although we originally thought that it was a bit risky going in early May, the weather was fantastic. Our driver and tour read more guide were exceptional. Tarak - our tour guide had an enormous amount of knowledge about every place we visited and gave us practical information about each stop. Although there were no meals included, there was never an issue. I would like to see breakfast included as this is a good time to socialize with our fellow travelers. Our bus group was mostly Australians which was amazing - 38 out of 47. Our accommodation was great - very clean, spacious, organised on arrival and central to everything. Our bus driver (Jim) was always on time, helpful, smiling and a very careful driver - we always felt safe. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
Value for money coach trip. We traversed some 4600 miles across the USA from New York to Los Angeles. There were 49 guests on board the coach. The coach driver (Dennis) was excellent. The tour director was knowledgeable and cheerful. Hotels were generally of a high quality but some were not centrally located. There were several long days on the coach read more but this was offset by the many wonderful sites we visited. Highlights for me included Niagra Falls, The Smithsonian museums, Mount Rushmore and Chicago, Make sure to take your camera on this trip!
Enjoyable tour! Outstanding collection of destinations with an incredibly helpful and knowledgeable tour guide Finola and skillful driver Mark. The comprehensive tour immersed us in the culture, history and the beauty of the British Isles.

This was our first experience with Cosmos and I was a little unsure how it would go. I can't complain at all, our bus driver Mark was a lot of fun but our guide Finola was fantastic. She made the trip so entertaining and she was so knowledgeable. There was not one place on the tour I did not like, the countryside of the UK is spectacular. We have read more made some lifelong friends on this tour. In actual fact I came home in June and in July I booked my next Cosmos tour and 2 ladies I met on the UK tour are coming with me. I will be doing lot's more tours with Cosmos.
We enjoyed traveling with Cosmos nice tour excellent tour guide. A lot to see in such relative short time. Thanks.

Amazing mountain scenery, especially from the top on clear days. Tour guide great and accommodation comfortable and full of character. Mid summer more likely to guarantee good weather.
Thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the tour. We had an excellent tour guide, Corina. Nothing was a trouble for her. Great sense of humor, interesting historical commentaries, easy to listen to, really knew her stuff and how to deal with all the different personalities. The coach (bus) was excellent, plenty of leg room and clean. Drivers were excellent. read more The tour group was a great mix of people with a love of fun, interest in the places we were visiting and fellow travelers, along with being punctual. I felt a sense of loss once we had finished the tour having enjoyed the company of such a fun group.
We had a fabulous tour with Cosmos. The weather was fantastic. The tour director took good care of us and he was knowledgeable. Most of the local tour guides were good, helpful and informative. The highlight of the tour has to be Machu Pichu for us but Rio de Janeiro, Iguazu, Boenos Aires are great places to visit too. Our tour group is a bunch of good, read more fun loving, courteous people. We got along well together. The hotel accommodations were generally good. The hotel at Puno was particularly good in food and service.

This was our second tour with Cosmos. The tour was well planned and covered all of the places that we wanted to travel to in South America. If you are after an affordable tour company with great tour itineraries I recommend Cosmos. Global Journeys made the booking process very easy.

The trip was very good and it was great to have everything organised by Cosmos. The pace of the tour was very quick but this is to be expected when you see so many places in a short space of time. If time allows I would recommend taking the tour over a longer duration which should have more 2 night stays. The Tour Guide was excellent and she really read more knew her stuff. Similarly the driver was first class. We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the accommodation, although some hotels were a distance from the centre of things which has to be expected from a moderately priced tour. The amount of free time was very good and allowed you to get a feel of the places you visit. The majority of the optional tours were very good although expensive. Global Journeys were similarly very good and responded very promptly. They really have their act together. I would recommend Cosmos and Global Journeys.
I went on the Western Wonders tour at the last minute with no idea what to expect as this was the first tour group I've been on. This trip exceeded our expectations Cosmos tour director Craig Cherry and Driver Randy looked after everyone on the trip. Everyone in our group were so nice and all got on well. The trip being 12 days gave us time to look read more around each place without being too rushed. I was away for 20 days all up and this was my highlight due to the way the tour was operated. Thank you, we will remember this always and have made friends for all over the globe.
Amazing holiday, great sights, Tour Director Todd was very good. Met some good people and good value for money. Our third Cosmos Tour now. Highly recommended.
A great journey though Europe 1

The tour was very well done from our booking with Global Journeys and our Tour Director ensuring that we had our return journey organised. Would recommend Global Journeys and Cosmos to anyone who is interested in having a great holiday. We left our camera at the hotel in Roma and our Tour director organised for it to be forwarded to Lucerne which was very much appreciated.
The tour guide and driver were very good and the coach was in very good condition and always clean. Some of the hotels were a little too basic for me - 4 star should be better. My travel companions were a mixed bunch and all very nice indeed. It seems like everyone got on well. It was a very enjoyable trip. The only thing I would change would be the read more first Rome hotel and Monti Cattani hotel.

I enjoyed this tour tremendously. It gave me a feel and taste of each country. I am now able to plan my future trips as to which country I would like to revisit in detail. The itinerary is great, covering most of the iconic site/sights. Our tour director, Mike and driver, Flavio, were very professional. Special mention must be made in regards to /Flavio's read more driving skills for negotiating some of the most difficult, tricky and narrow lanes/streets. Thanks to Emily for handling my booking ensuring my travel documents arrived in a timely manner. On the whole, I would be happy to book my future Cosmos tours through Global Journeys.

We had a wonderful time on the bus trip with a group with a wide range of ages and nationalities. Our tour director was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable lady who handled every situation with empathy and humour. We saw incredible sights and wondrous scenery. One of the most enjoyable trips I have had.

We had the most amazing holiday that you helped to organise for us. The All About Europe tour (previously named European Masterpiece) was an excellent tour, Mike the tour director was very professional, Flavio our coach driver was an excellent driver and he always kept the coach in clean condition inside and out. We found everything went smoothly, always read more on time. Overall the tour was very well planned and organised. Thank you for all your assistance and we would not hesitate to use Global Journeys again.

I gave this the top rating because of my interest in ancient and medieval Greek history, which the tour provided very well. However, we were shocked to see the graffiti and the poor state of buildings and open spaces in Athens. We had some problems with our Athens accommodation after the tour, which gave the impression that they had given up under the read more economic pressures they face. Greece could become an unreliable destination in the near future. We opted out of optional tours which were essentially food tours, for meals in local restaurants. Our Tour Director and the bus driver were excellent.
Interesting Tour of Japan 4

There is a lot of ground covered on this tour with several long days on the coach. However there were only 12 of us on the tour which made it much easier for disembarking the coach and getting everyone back on board. We could have done with an extra night in Osaka as we arrived fairly late in the afternoon and left first thing the next day so not a read more lot of time to see Osaka. The Guide (Aki) was great, very informative and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. The cherry blossom was still in bloom in Tokyo which was lovely and we were fortunate to have only a couple of wet days throughout the trip. Most of the days were sunny and warm. Plenty of shrines and temples on the itinerary, so lots of walking and stairs to climb at certain places.The bullet train was different and a great inclusion on the tour. Optional Excursions were very limited and expensive. Overall a good tour and excellent value for money. Would recommend as an introduction to Japan.
