Amazing Trans America Coach Tour 1 , New Zealand, Sep 2022
Our coach tour took us from New York to Los Angeles over 24 days. It was such a wonderful tour, filled with fabulous sights in the national parks and cities that we visited. It was a full-on 24 days, with lots of travel most days but Cap, our tour director, gave us very informative running commentaries and showed interesting/fun movies or documentaries ...read more as we travelled. We were a small group of 22 including Captain and the driver which I personally enjoyed - easier to get to know a great group of people.

Highlights for us were obviously the national parks, especially Yellowstone but also the wonderful surprises of Zion and Bryce - fantastic! We also were enjoyed the cities, the colourful, exciting, slightly frenetic New York, the surprisingly pleasant Chicago, what a great city with the beautiful Lake Michigan, great museums and lots of excellent buskers in the evenings on every street corners.

The hotels we stayed in were generally exceptionally good, in excellent locations with good facilities. Even the log cabin on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon was a very pleasant surprise, with a fresh coffee machine and chocolates on arrival, and so close to the most fantastic view. Next time I would definitely take a small portable kettle or immersion element (as a couple of people on our tour did, and easy to buy from Walmart or similar). Some hotels had no coffee machine so it's an excellent time and money saver making your own. Also, if you, like me, like a good well-brewed cup of tea, your own kettle is essential!

All in all, we loved the tour, saw so much, covered such a lot of the United States and saw such fantastic sights. And finally Tracey, our travel agent at Global Journeys, was very helpful, answered every query immediately and generally smoothed the path for us.
Trans America Trip 0 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2022
We had a fantastic trip. Our tour Director John and coach Driver Russell were true professionals. Nothing was too difficult for them to answer or do for us. They were also very tolerant of some of our more “demanding” fellow passengers. We were very happy with the support you, Tracy, provided to us for the booking of the trip and we will not hesitate ...read more to book a trip through you if one we are interested in comes up.
American holiday 1 , VIC, Australia, Jul 2022
We both loved our holiday the trip was what it said so many highlights the city tour round New York by Eddie was amazing he was so knowledgeable and so emotional about his city, the tour guide around Washington was the same. Our tour guide John let us know what to do when to do and how to do again he had heaps of knowledge there is a lot of time spent ...read more in the bus but saying that we Diego fro one side to the other (39760 miles) seen more of American than some Americans. All the hotels were great even the little cabin at Yellowstone park. Would I travel cosmos again, hell yes, you get what they advertise and more.
Wonderful Tour Across America 1 , QLD, Australia, Sep 2019
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour ! I can't begin to explain the many wonderful sights we saw, just amazing!! A beautiful bunch of people on the coach, who became like long lost friends very early on in the tour. Accommodation was great . The only small complaint was that it was all a bit rushed, but given the distance we travelled and the many amazing ...read more things we saw, that was totally understandable. Would do it all again in a heartbeat. Jemma from Global Journeys was always on hand to answer my MANY questions prior to the trip. She showed extreme patience to my ignorance, given it was my first time traveling . One word of advice - always watch where your walking! Especially in Chicago, sidewalks very dodgy............ Overall the BEST travel experience I have ever had and will be very hard to top.
Trans American Adventure   9 , VIC, Australia, Aug 2019
We thoroughly enjoyed this holiday. It was a perfect mixture of cities and countryside and such a variety of landscapes. We thought that it was excellent value for money, accommodation was good, all the beds being comfortable and the rooms clean. We had a wonderful group to travel with, which added to the enjoyment. Also our tour guide, John, was excellent, ...read more very knowledgable, conscientious and caring. We felt safe at all times with our bus driver, Dave. Thanks to Jodie Wallis for organising this trip for us.
Great adventure crossing of USA from the west to the east 10 , VIC, Australia, Jun 2019
We really enjoyed the Trans-American adventure tour with Cosmos. The accommodation was of a better standard than we expected. Good locations usually within walking distance of the sites in that town/city. The Tour Director Doris was very organised and very informative. She kept us occupied with activities during the long travel times.

Some of the ...read more days were big travel days but that was expected and enjoyable. Always something to see with enough stops. Our Coach driver David was very good and drove in a manner that you felt relaxed and in good hands. The coach was almost brand new and comfortable.

The mix of included and optional activities was just right for us. We joined in most options but also had time off on our own. Would recommend this tour to those that want to see a lot of the USA but are happy to be on the move.

Hannah of Global Journeys was prompt and professional. Everything went off without any issues. We will use Global Journeys again.
