3 Berlin
On this morning's included guided tour, learn how the city is no longer divided but every bit as fascinating. Once the city of contrasts with its West and East side separated into two different worlds by a wall, Berlin has developed into a harmonious blend of old and new. it has preserved the old buildings, such as the State Opera House and Brandenburg Gate; its neoclassic-style boulevards, such as the Kurfurstendamm and Unter den Linden; and it has created brand new buildings in the most daring, contemporary architectural styles. it is once again Germany's capital and one of Europe's most lively and interesting cities. (B)

6 Warsaw - Jasna Gora - Auschwitz - Krakow
Two encounters with history on your southbound journey today. First, JASNA GORA near Czestochowa, the monastery that withstood the repeated onslaught of overwhelming Swedish forces during the religious wars of the 17th century. Evening arrival in Krakow. (B/D) Today's Distance: 289 mi/ 465 km
7 Krakow
This, they say, is Poland's most beautiful city. For almost 500 years it was the country's capital, and today, it is without a doubt its cultural capital. Join the included morning sightseeing in ancient Krakow, for centuries the residence of Polish kings. See the Market Square, the Jewish Quarter, St. Mary's Church, and visit WAWEL CATHEDRAL. Free time later to explore this interesting town at your own pace and mingle with the locals. (B)

We had a wonderful tour, Anna the tour director was wonderful and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble for her or the company. Saw many new sights and adventures this trip. Would definitely travel with Globus again. Thanks for a wonderful, memorable experience.

If wanting to visit Europe in the lead up to Xmas then this is the ideal holiday, Xmas markets at each destination. Fourth holiday with Cosmos, have no problems booking a fifth!!! Visited some great destinations, be sure to bring plenty of warm clothing.

“Interesting Central Europe tour”
- VIC, Australia Sep 2019 2 Helpful Votes

Overall a very satisfying and interesting journey. Our tour director and driver (Ruzica and Salvatore) were terrific over the 15 days. The one thing that was a downer was that we were discouraged from using the toilet on the coach. With the age of the tour participants, this is not a great outcome and led to discomfort. Such a 'toilet use' policy needs to be reconsidered.

“Central and Eastern Europe with Cosmos”
- ACT, Australia Sep 2019

Both my wife and I were impressed with the two separate Cosmos tours we recently completed in Central and Eastern Europe. The tours were full to the brim with almost constant activity, each day bringing new experiences and things to see and do. It is hard to find fault with their organisation of the tours. The location and quality of hotels was mostly excellent. The more out of the way hotels (there were a few) did not have a bad impact as there was always options for getting about although on...read more

“Interesting trip”
- QLD, Australia Jun 2019 2 Helpful Votes

The trip was at a nice pace covered some very interesting places, the tour leader was very helpful. More time in Munich and Vienna would have been an advantage for sight seeing. Overall value for money.
