November a good time for Italy 4 , NSW, Australia, Nov 2024
November neither too hot nor too cold and lovely autumn colours and every day different: with no “maddening crowds”. Tour guide and driver excellent - November 2024. I had extra week in Rome and discovered the amazing Church of the Holy Stairs and Church of St Peter in Chains. Don’t miss visiting church where Michael Angelo, Galileo and others buried read more in square where you start and end your Florence tour.
Great trip around Italy! 5 , VIC, Australia, Jun 2023
Dealing with Global Journeys was so easy and Toni our travel agent made the booking process hassle free. The tour itself was a great insight into Italy and a fantastic way of seeing all of the highlights. Our guide Gianluca was fantastic. Only negative I would mention is the accommodation in Rome - very poor first hotel and the last hotel in Rome was read more just too far from the city centre, so I recommend not booking additional nights at the hotel once the tour ends. Overall a fantastic tour with a great guide and great group of people.
Great tour through Italy   2 , VIC, Australia, May 2023
The Cosmos tour Italys Best was just that. A great tour, lots of interesting places to visit which was very well organized by the tour guide. The hotels were all good, although the first & last hotels are usually out of the way, which in this case was true. It was an "on the go tour" , up early, breakfast and on the road. We walked many kms on lots read more of cobblestones and walked up many steps. Lots of highlights which were too many to pick out a favourite, just beautiful little villages or magical places like the Isle of Capri or Lake Maggiore.
Italy’s Best 6 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2019
Loved our trip and will be booking again in next 12 -18 months for another Cosmos tour. Most hotels were great. Could only find fault with one hotel which wasn’t that great. Tour Director, Daniela was great, fun and very informative. Our driver, Lorenzo was fantastic. He was very friendly and a good safe driver. We felt very comfortable with his driving. read more We had a great bunch of people on the tour and had a lot of fun together. Only one person on the tour that spoilt things for others as she was never happy with anything and complained constantly about everything. In the end no one could please her so it was best just to ignore the comments and have a good time.
Cosmos tour - Italy’s best 5 , VIC, Australia, Sep 2019
We enjoyed all the travel stops, Venezia, Milan, Cinque Terre and most of all Capri. People travelling with us were fantastic! Coach host Patrizia and driver Vinchenzo were the best and couldn’t do enough for us. It was a busy on the go trip which was needed if you wanted to see so many interesting places. Accommodation was not always the best, in some read more places I’d rate it a 2 star while others were very good at 4 star. I would recommend Cosmos overall for an enjoyable and memorable tour.
Best of Italy 3 , WA, Australia, Aug 2019
Highlights for me were the optional Tuscan farm dinner and our stay at Lake Maggiore (the scenery was breathtaking). A nice surprise was Milan and Genoa, both pretty cities with lots of trees and parks. My tour was late Aug/early Sept and it was very hot and humid.

The majority of people on the tour were very friendly and came from Australia, USA, read more Canada and Scotland.
One of the main disappointments for me was the location of some of the hotels (not always in the city or town) so if you weren't doing all the excursions and wanted to explore on your own it was very difficult. My booking experience with Global Journeys was very good and I had no issues to speak of.
Italy’s Best by Cosmos 8 , SA, Australia, May 2019
Global Journeys was great, would definitely use them again. Not so sure about the Cosmos tour. Itinerary was rushed, optional meals were not good. Most accommodation was a long way out and not very good.
The best way to travel around Italy 8 , VIC, Australia, Nov 2018
The Cosmos Best of Italy tour was extremely well organised and executed. The communication right from the word go by Madeline Lewis from Global Journeys was absolutely brilliant, and we were also very impressed with the tour arrangements such as confirmation of tour, information on the tour etc. provided.

10/10 for our tour leader, Jian Luca. He read more was a wealth of knowledge, great personality, very vibrant, entertaining, fun and very competent. He had great attention to detail to make sure that he could provide anything we might have needed. In addition, the driver, Stefano, was very competent and about the best we’ve experienced. The local guides were also brilliant. Five star plus.

We loved the entire tour. The program was intense but not overly. Always something of interest, but with enough down time. Very well planned, and the opportunity to see quite a lot of Italy. All the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Each had its own charm.

Our overall rating of the trip is 10/10. We'll highly recommend it to the people we know. The itinerary is excellent because it encompasses all the regions of Italy. Thank you so very much Cosmos & team for having arranged the magnificent trip we took!!
