A grand selection of optional activities completes the day: a ride on the "cabrio" cable-car to the summit of Mount Stanserhorn; a cruise on the fjord-like lake; and, of course, time to shop for an authentic Swiss watch. (B)

More wonderful alpine scenery as you drive into the mountain ranges that surround the massive St. Gotthard Pass. Venice is more like a marvellous film set than a real-life city, with its crisscrossing canals, gondolas and water buses, arched bridges, palaces, and busy little piazzas (squares). Your included orientation starts with a boat ride to St. Mark's Square and is followed by free time to soak up the city's unique atmosphere and a chance to visit a glassblowing workshop. Don't miss out on the optional gondola trip, gliding along the picturesque canals with a local troubadour to serenade you. (B/D)

Best of Europe 2 , QLD, Australia, Dec 2018
Accommodation good, dinner at Sorrento left much to be desired, but the hotel was good. A big thank you to the other members of the tour, as I was quite slow at times, tagging along behind them. But there was always someone lagging behind to make sure I did not go astray. Alex the guide was good too, and so was our driver. To have travelled to places ...read more I've only read about was a highlight, St Peters square Christmas day, Paris for New Years Eve. Snow sprinkled on the fir trees, and up the mountain side, coming out of the tunnel from Lucerne. A once in a lifetime trip, and special thanks to Sherry and daughter Ashley, who booked through Yvonne.
Wonders of Europe 1 , VIC, Australia, Mar 2018
Generally the tour was very good and very well organised. Should have included some sight seeing in London, as there was no point going there without it. Consider drop off and pick up at Victoria station in future. The Tour Director was outstanding and handled the tour well, and the driver was excellent.
Awesome Europe trip 3 , NSW, Australia, May 2017
We had an awesome time in Europe! This was made possible by two wonderful people, the Coach Driver Oscar - for making us feel safe and secure with his exceptional driving skills and loading/unloading our luggage! and the Tour Director Patrizia Weijring for making us feel like a family from day 1 - from organizing our hotel room keys in every destination ...read more even before we arrived at the hotels, taking last minute changes in our optional excursions, making sure everyone was safely on board, taking care of our dietary requirements as well as going beyond her call of duty of finding our lost property by locating and organizing it to be delivered to our next hotel! Her humour and smile made our journey in the Coach much easier! She is an amazing person and an asset to Cosmos. Please pass our warm wishes to Patrizia and Oscar.
Fantastic Cosmos Tour of Europe   3 , VIC, Australia, Dec 2016
I was nervous of travelling single, however from the moment I requested a quote to ending the holiday, it was my best holiday decision. If people are wanting a taste of Europe I could not speak highly enough of my travel consultant, tour director and coach driver. The age of our tour members was great with all ages covered. For anyone wondering if ...read more it is OK going to Europe in off season, my answer is absolutely. Yes you need a great coat and jackets but you miss the crowds and get up nice and close to all the wonderful destinations. My next holiday will be booked with Global Journeys, I would not use anyone else.
Amazing Trip! 5 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2016
We would like to complement Hannah on arranging our Europe trip. Every step of the way our tour ran like clockwork. Our time in London was very interesting even though we organised our own excursions there. The accommodation in London was great and not too far from public transport. I think our favourite city was Prague . It was so beautiful , all ...read more the beautiful buildings, bridges and churches.Every European city was amazing. We took so many photos. Being in the middle of their summer the weather was fairly warm particularly in Rome and Florence but it didn't worry us. Our Tour Leader was a wonderful Hungarian lady, Orsi, who has been working for Cosmos for about 10 years, so she was very knowledgeable on each place we visited and made everyone feel welcome and cared for.

The accommodation was of a good standard and included meals were good. The tours included and extra ones were all fun especially the Swiss meal and entertainment and the Switzerland Mt Titles mountain trip. We had a full coach of about 45 people. The coach was very comfortable and had very capable drivers. Our tour had a mixture of nationalities, ages, and a few families and we all got on very well. We cant wait to do something again in the future. Thank you again. Its hard getting back to reality this week!
A taste of Europe   1 , WA, Australia, Mar 2016
