What our clients are saying about their journeys to New England
“Fantastic New England Experience”
My wife Robyn and I thoroughly enjoyed our 10 Colours of New England tour with Costsaver. Our tour leader Amy was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Amy certainly ensured we had a pleasant time. The driver Alan was exceptional. His skills and experience certainly shone through. We'll certainly be travelling again. The accommodation was fine except that some were too far out of town. Overall we had a great time.
“Falling for the fall colours”
Jemma was highly professional booking our trip and keeping us informed with a Tauck hotel change. We were fortunate to explore towns that felt like you were on a movie set and experience the colours of autumn and how each of the states we went to had their own uniqueness. Denise, a local to the area, was our tour guide and she had years of experience as well as knowledge only residents would have. Staying overnight at Mount Washington Resort was a highlight as was the lobster dinner in Maine. Acadia ...read more Park was overrun with tourists and cruise ship passengers but I understand they are working on coming up with a solution. Tauck had great accommodation for the most part and meals were excellent. We were blessed with warm temperatures and only 1 day of rain and it certainly gave a great picture of New England overall.
“Passage through New England and Eastern Canada”
Booking process was easy with Jemma responding to queries promptly. The coach travel portion was as expected, early starts but getting into destinations early. Some glitches with information not passed on at first hotel in Boston. Accommodation was of good quality, included evening meals of a fair standard. Shelburne museum a great place with plenty to see. The Tour Director, Hilary, was very knowledgeable and helpful. The ship embarkation and disembarkation was a streamlined process. Ocean view ...read more cabins were situated on lower promenade deck and staff helpful. A great variety of food and restaurants to choose, at a price, if didn't feel like eating at the included areas. There were a variety of excursions to choose from if you wanted to see more of the ports. All types of entertainment to cater for most preferences.
“Great Trip and Great People”
Thanks to Hannah our trip went off very well and would use Global Journeys in the future. Our touring party was fantastic and a very good mix and we all got on like a house on fire. If I did this trip again I would look at another flight option.
